Davis blinked and saw Nadia appear beside him from the shadows, standing with her four paws floating above the ground with a dark hue below. She looked as hideous as a beast from a nightmare yet as elegant as a beautiful fox.

The two Peak-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizards suddenly stopped their actions, viewing Nadia in alarm.

A Peak-Level Saint Beast Stage Magical Beast had intruded their territory! Not only was it a Peak-Level Saint Beast Magical Beast but this Magical Beast was basically an unknown existence to them. Davis frowned heavily becoming disappointed with Nadia but when his Soul Sense reached Evelynn, he became shocked!

There was another Nadia mounted by Evelynn! They were safely in the rear!

And then, he belatedly noticed the difference!

He turned his head and looked at Nadia who only had a single tail rather the two tails she possessed.

"Dark Tail Doppelganger..." Nadia uttered in a calm tone as her muzzle moved, "The species ability of the Twin-Tailed Dusk Wolf."

'C-Cool...'

Davis became speechless and mused in a deep analysis, 'No wonder it's called Twin-Tailed rather than Two-Tailed... Is this like an avatar, a flesh one at that?'

He felt that Nadia's tail could perhaps be even used as a main or supplementary ingredient to create a flesh-based avatar, however, avatar techniques weren't even heard off, and the Twin-Tailed Dusk Wolf remained widely unknown to this cultivation world.

If Avatar Techniques widely existed in the First Layer, then it is also possible that the Twin-Tailed Dusk Wolf species could become extinct as they would be hunted on a large scale.

The little poison that was equal in level to his current Body Tempering Cultivation, failed to do anything significant. He ran his martial energy and towards his fist and cleared the poison out of his system.

Davis even felt as if a silent *poof* went inside his fist.

He smiled as he looked at the two Peak-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizards who stood still and yet to make a move.

He wondered why and initially thought it was because of Nadia's arrival but then smiled widely in realization.

They were being... surrounded.

Surrounded within all sides. Even Evelynn was included in their perimeter but he perceived that they still hadn't found her yet. He imagined that they would never find her, not with Nadia's abnormal ability to hide in the shadows.

"You take care of the other Peak-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizard. As for the remaining Three-Winged Venomous Lizards, leave them to me even if they attack me..."

"Yes!" Nadia echoed and instantly jumped into the shadows as her nine-meter tall figure disappeared!

With the foggy atmosphere further entrenching their view, it became difficult to even find Nadia. The Three-Winged Venomous Lizards all went into a state of alert at the new enemy as they engaged in long-range venomous blasts against the human.

Davis dodged the corrosive volley of viscous liquids and made his way to the female incumbent leader of the Three-Winged Venomous Lizard Clan. The distance between them was half a kilometers long but he covered it in two little seconds while dodging the corrosive liquids that failed to catch him and created small craters on the ground!

However, Davis widened his eyes as he suddenly pushed his body towards the rear!

A huge cloud of venomous haze almost overwhelmed him!

He forcefully stopped himself and flew back but at this time, four corrosive viscous liquids hit him at this thigh, ankle, and both his arms. The locations in his body that were affected started to corrode! His skin started to peel off as if hydrochloric acid was poured on his body!

Davis flew away towards the back and blinding light erupted from his soul, covering the wounded places on his body.

Sacred Soul Healing!

It started to heal good wounds but at the same time, he invoked Fallen Heaven's energy and spread it all over his eroded skin and flesh.

The Sacred Soul Healing ability slowly healed his flesh, however, the death-like energy of Fallen Heaven instantly removed the corrosive properties of the liquid.

He manually made the light and dark-like energy not interfere with each other and this increased the rate of healing of the Sacred Soul Healing Technique.

Davis's eyes flashed with a solemn light. He stopped only using his Body Tempering Cultivation to battle anymore and invoked his Soul Forging Cultivation to heal.

Clearly, even if he was able to battle the female Three-Winged Venomous Lizard with just his Body Tempering Cultivation, he couldn't challenge an entire clan with it.
