Davis let out a bellow by using his soul force, and Nadia woke out of her reverie as she became stunned. She quickly rubbed her lips and chin and inclined her head above as she looked at the skies in blue shame along with other incompetent feelings.

In truth, she no longer dared to look at the plant lifeform, afraid that it would bewitch her again.

Davis scrutinized her reaction and expression from the plant lifeform's ascendance and recognized that she had intensely reacted to a specific part of the plant. In reality, he had also felt a unique aura from its body, especially from its flower.

It was its nectar...

The nectar from the flower of the plant lifeform seemed incredibly enticing to Nadia, a Twin-Tailed Dusk Wolf, and whatever that enticed her by far as he noticed had invoked a change in her bloodline, just like the carcass of the Crimson Darkness Condor and its smell of blood.

But then, Davis suddenly noticed the disturbance in the surrounding mountain regions where the magical beasts began to strangely act as they stopped to look at the plant lifeform momentarily, exhibiting the same behavior Nadia revealed.

However, the moment they stopped dodging was when the flailing vines crushed them into bloody meat paste, and the other magical beasts who were lucky enough to notice it and come out of their reverie managed to escape with their lives by continuing to run away.

Davis's sapphire eyes flashed in greed.

Whatever the nectar was, it unquestionably seemed to be valuable!

"Exhaust your power, distract this plant lifeform to the fullest of your abilities!" Davis sent a soul transmission to his two slaves and sent another one to Nadia.

"Keep the container floating with your dark energy, but don't let yourself be captured by the vines..."

Nadia became startled as she turned her head to see Davis, but she could no longer see him or sense him. The frozen container abruptly started to descend, but she quickly used her dark energy to enshroud the frozen container, making it float alongside her.

Instantly, she felt a chill all over her body, but it was bearable thanks to the formations inside the container working to suppress the Yin Essence's energy.

She didn't know that it was a strand of Davis's death-like energy that was doing the suppressing, not the formations. After all, the Yin Essence that is inside is a Low-Level Emperor Grade Spirit Attribute Source, while the Derelict Extinction Lightning in the past was a Low-Level King Grade Spirit Attribute Source.

The formation would've broken apart by now if the Will of the Yin Essence was still present, perhaps even including the fact that Davis's death-like energy was still suppressing the Yin Essence.

Nadia subconsciously glanced below and saw those two people turn the entire sky into an apocalyptic sea of flames. The heat even traveled to her as she felt the chill in her body dissipate, but being influenced by two different and contrasting energies at the same time, Nadia felt like she was trapped in an icy hell.

Without being able to provide any help, she could only helplessly watch and do as her master commanded.

Davis blinked past into the distance and made his way from the side so that he wouldn't accidentally get caught by those tens and thousands of vines or the twenty-kilometer long sea of flames.

His Dark Concealing Shroud Art that was further enhanced by his usage in death-like energy, and it made him concealed even to the likes of this plant lifeform.

He felt that as long as it was distracted, it would in no way notice him.

...Judging by the undulations that the kilometer-long vertical body was letting out, he could sense that it was at the peak of the Mid-Level Eighth Stage! It was as if the plant lifeform was going to break through to the High-Level Eighth Stage in a few years or decades, but with his actions, he assumed that he ruined its plan and exposed its presence to the outside world.

As the plant lifeform kept ascending as it tentacle-like vines flailed and wreaked havoc around the mountain while showcasing its anger, Davis constantly neared its enormous body.

His eyes flashed red, but his face fell as he became pale. Nevertheless, realizing that he had come this close, he clenched his teeth in determination!

In the blink of an eye, he shot towards in his fastest capable speed and neared right in front of its body before his right arm swung heavily right at its stem!

A small hole was pierced into its body, but what stuck in the hole wasn't his hand but a black-gold spear!

From the blade's shiny black surface, his death-like energy passed through the spear and wreaked havoc inside its body!

A miserable cry reverberated around the area. It left Davis almost feeling dizzy, but he stood fast and surged in a copious amount of the death-like energy into it, quickly expending his soul force.

The death-like every was pierced in through the sharp hole made by the spear and poured into its veins. It quickly spread to every portion of its body and wreaked havoc in its organs and veins.

Its veins crumbled, its leaves disintegrated, its Will started to erode!

This cry was very pleasing to his ears as he knew that he had injured it. However, he could sense the fear and pleading in its tone, which sounded very depressing to an innocent bystander.

Davis didn't know that it could not speak, nor did he know that it could think like a human being.

His eyes flashed ruthlessly as he continuously sent in large surges of death-like energy into its body! He had no choice but to do that since its huge mass of body somehow obstructed his Death God Eyes! Either that or the difference in the level didn't allow him to see its name.

He had no choice but to quickly formulate a plan in his mind on the spot to take it down since his Death God Eyes didn't work on it!

He was waiting for this exact moment as he didn't want to scare it away with his death-like energy earlier when stealing the Yin Essence. His deathly energy was as if it was the nemesis of almost all life forms.

Hence, he didn't even use it when he stole the Yin Essence instead of unhesitatingly sacrificing his soul essence. He used the Exhausted Ashes Of The Vermillion technique to destroy the Low-Level Eighth Stage vines that were sucking out the Yin Essence's energy.

A few seconds passed as he repeatedly sent out deadly floods of the death-like energy into the plant lifeform's body, overwhelming it. The vines that were flailing behind him tried to hit him, but it all fell on its own body and made itself tremble, further worsening its condition.

Its cries kept weakening, and Davis knew that it was near death. With his death-like soul force drowning its body and disintegrating its insides, he was able to sense that its demise was increasingly near!

But then, Davis abruptly sensed its soul, deep in the stem. It tried to run, leading to his discovery, but he caught and encased it with his death-like soul force!
