Natalya didn't want to be belittled by someone she thought as her life and her future, but more than that, she didn't want to disappoint him, neither did she want to witness his sigh that almost looked like he was getting tired of her.

It felt excruciating in her heart to even hear it.

Davis didn't understand what kind of thoughts in her head led her to cry, and he felt that women were incomprehensible sometimes. He didn't think his typical sigh would harm her, and it usually wouldn't, but combined with the fact that he had educated her, made it seem like he was tired of her.

Sighing had already seeped deep into his soul from his past life as Tian Long. It was already a habit that every time he felt that a matter was over, even if it was small, he would do sigh in relief.

Nevertheless, hearing her question, Davis shook his head.

"You're lying..." Tears almost fell out of Natalya's eyes.

Natalya became taken aback.

Indeed, he realized that he never said those words 'I love you' before to her, even after he married her. Perhaps, he wanted to be true to himself, so he never said that to her until he really thought that way. He didn't know when he came to truly love her, but when he thought of conveying his thoughts, those endearing words came out without hesitation.

Natalya slightly shook her head as her hands reached out to cup his cheeks. Their heartbeats reverberated towards each other's body, their lips connected as they started making out before it was a given that it would dwell into a passionate lovemaking session.
