Nevertheless, as he looked towards the front where its figure had somehow returned back to those words of lightning, he couldn't help but gulp as he couldn't help but slowly move towards it.

Davis's eyes went wide as he saw an enormous opportunity. His greed flared up as he saw the words of lightning.

Since it could manifest a remnant soul, it was undoubtedly a form of soul essence, and he could refine soul essences to comprehend laws!

'So what if I don't have its blood essence? With its bit of soul essence here, I muse that I would be able to extract a bit of law comprehension from it.'

He could feel it weakening by the second at a rapid pace, making him understand that it had expended all its energy! Its consciousness had dispersed that it didn't even have time to extinguish its remnant soul again. However, he was still careful in approaching and prodding it for a few minutes.
