I Am A Prodigy Chapter 252

"It's started!"
The crowd turned serious, their bodies tensed up.
Although they had little confidence in the wolf pups, they held onto hope for a miracle to happen.
Six hyenas lowered their bodies at the same time, then lunged at Little Green and Little Grey!
Little Green and Little Grey lowered their bodies as well, meeting the attack without a shred of fear!
Little Green and Little Grey's movements were swift. Although they were of a smaller size, they displayed better speed and strength, not losing to the hyenas in terms of their prowess.
Their tiny claws and fangs fought fiercely, matching the hyenas in the fight. Furthermore, their nimble body allowed them to dodge and counterattack!
"F*ck! T-t-these wolf pups were trained?"
"Awesome, amazing! Look at the grey one there. Did it just stand on its front paws?" 1
"Look at the green one, weaving left and right, then attacking during an opening. They're fighting with techniques."
"Amazing, they're turning into demons. That's demonization!"
"Great bite! One of the hyenas is wounded by that bite. Awesome!"
"This is unbelievable. What happens when these two wolf pups grow up?"
…
Meanwhile, the director of the safari park was sweating bullets, becoming a nervous wreck.
On his flushed face was a pair of round-rimmed glasses. He continuously paced back and forth.
"F*ck! What are you guys doing? Why isn't the rescue team there yet?!"
"Director Xia, they're almost there," said one of the employees as he wiped the sweat off his forehead.
"Almost there? How long more? Can they teleport?!" asked Director Xia with a trembling voice, his eyes wide open. "We have time, but that child doesn't! Do you know how much losses our safari will have to bear?!"
Director Xia's voice turned hoarse. Just the thought of the consequences sent shivers down his spine.

After all, that was their safari's responsibility. If anything happened, the consequences would be too dire for him to bear.
Although the kid got out of the car on his own, the safari had no warning signs placed in that area. Furthermore, with their slow rescue attempt, that only made things worse. By then, he would be stuck in a difficult situation when faced with pressure from the general public.
"Director, Director!"
Right then, another employee came running in, his voice was lined with amazement.
"What is it? Is that kid saved?" Director Xia stared right at that person, his voice filled with anxiety and anticipation.
"No sir! The rescue team is still on the way."
"What?! On the way? What the f*ck are you guys doing?" Director Xia's hair stood on its ends. He was hyperventilating as he slumped to the floor, saying bitterly, "That's it. That kid is surely eaten by now. All hope is lost…"
"Director, that's not true," that person said after a moment's hesitation. "There were two wolf pups that appeared to that kid's aid and they're fighting off the hyenas!"
"Wolf pups? Fighting?" Director Xia was flabbergasted. "Are you kidding me?"
"No sir. Director, please follow me."
The entire party immediately rushed over to the surveillance room.
Although the surveillance room did not cover the entire safari, it covered the territories of threatening animals, giving them a clear view of the situation.
Once he saw the surveillance footage, Director Xia was dumbfounded.
He rubbed his eyes before confirming that he was not hallucinating.
'This...how is this possible?'
On the screen, two wolf pups were holding their ground against six hyenas, fighting at full force.
"These wolf pups are less than a year old," Director Xia exclaimed as he identified the features of the two wolf pups, "but their strength is comparable to that of an adult wolf."

"That's not all. The way those wolf pups fight is different from the average biting and clawing of an average wild animal. They are able to patiently wait for an opening, and their attacks are extremely cunning. Furthermore, their dexterity is terrifying." There were several elderly people within the surveillance room, all of them fully focused on the screen.
They were the animal specialists of the safari. They were all shocked when they saw the two wolf pups.
"Formidable. If these two wolf pups continue growing at that rate, they will be a match for a tiger!" said one of the elders. "Furthermore, they are well adjusted to humans and came to the kid's rescue. That's just unbelievable!"
"These two wolf pups just saved our safari!"
"Where did they come from? Does our safari have a record?" Director Xia asked.
Everyone exchanged looks, then shook their heads. Even the employees in charge of feeding the animals had no recollection of those wolf pups.
Meanwhile, the fight was nearing its end.
All six hyenas were bloodied, covered in claw marks and bite marks. Four of them were even limping around. Their gaze towards Little Green and Little Grey was filled with shock and horror.
They had never thought that those two wolf pups were that formidable. That had wrecked their understanding of the world.
Although Little Green and Little Grey were also wounded, they were superficial. They were moving their bodies excitedly with unexpectedly strong muscles. They raised their heads, staring down the hyenas intimidatingly.
By then, the hyenas' violent nature was clearly shown. They did not plan to leave but instead circled the wolf pups, as though ready to bet their lives.
Bark!
They rushed out together, lunging forward with their jaws open wide!
"F*ck! They're aiming for the kid!" shouted someone in the crowd as they saw one of the hyenas aimed for the kid instead of the wolf pups.
"Motherf*cker! Stop that you scumbag!"
"Despicable!"
Everyone went into a frenzy. Who would have anticipated such a twist towards the end?
Tiantian was only a kid. Even if it was just a bite, the damage would be severe. All that effort had gone to waste!
"Tiantian, get out of the way. Don't let it bite your neck!"
At that point, they could only pray for him to survive.
Just as the crowd watched helplessly as the hyena's jaw approached the kid slowly, a green figure interjected in a flash, blocking the hyena's jaws with its body!
Silence!
At that moment, time seemingly came to a halt!
Everyone was in shock, covering their mouths.
The hyena bit onto Little Green. Little Green moaned in pain, and at the same time, swatted its paw forcefully at the hyena's eyes. In an instant, blood spilled forth!
Whimpers!
The hyena cried out in agony. With one of its eyes blinded, it turned around and escaped at full speed.
The other hyenas similarly whimpered and escaped quickly with their tails between their legs…
'That...was that a victory?'
The crowd stared stupidly at the two wolf pups with their eyes wide open, dumbfounded...
—
In raw it was described as standing upside down, but we thought standing on its front paws might fit the flow better since flipping a quadruped creature upside down is...back on the floor?
