I Am A Prodigy Chapter 514

Hearing Elder Hiroshi's words, Tsune Takeshi's eyes bulged wide open, watching Ye Lingchen in the surveillance footage with rapt attention.
Since Elder Hiroshi had given Ye Lingchen the death sentence, the outcome was surely going to be extremely gruesome. He must watch it intently and not let a second go by unmonitored. He wanted to personally witness Ye Lingchen's despair. That feeling...must be wonderful!
Second floor…
"Die!"
Those 15 creatures were horrific existences that could no longer be considered human. After 10 full seconds of them gathering strength, their destructive power was maxed out.
As they charged, they were emitting bloodthirsty roars and shrieks. The sight of it was both horrifying and gory.
At that moment, the air around them seemed to have solidified. Wave after wave of killing intent spewed forth from their bodies. Moreover, the killing intent was mixed with rage and ferocity. With 15 of them added together, the killing intent was extremely oppressive and had seemingly taken physical form, making it difficult to breathe.
That feeling was as though someone was surrounded by 15 ferocious tigers and have them lunge for the kill at the same time. It was difficult to even put up a fight!
It did not end there. These 15 people who had their strength and speed enhanced were subconsciously using the martial arts that they had learned before. Gleaming blades flashed about!
Those five that came down from the third floor were especially outstanding. Their wrists flicked about as the blade of their swords cut through the air, their sword intent firing every which way.
Terrifying flashes of gleaming cold steel cut through the air with ringing sounds.
They had all raised their strength to their absolute peak.
Regardless of their blades or claws, their sharpness was unrivaled and was threatening to cut through mountains.
At that moment, all the attacks were locked onto the artery on Ye Lingchen's neck, between his eyes, chest, and other vital regions.

Ye Lingchen was completely surrounded without a slightest opening!
The grim reaper approached as the slaughter began!
Nevertheless, Ye Lingchen remained standing at the same spot with his eyes lowered. It was as though all that had nothing to do with him.
The edge of his lips curled into a smile. That smile seemed to be mocking his opponents' naivety, showing pride in his strength and appreciation for the beauty of this world.
Three inches!
Two inches!
One inch!
Those life-threatening attacks got closer and closer, threatening to cut apart Ye Lingchen's body and end his life at the very next moment. Finally, it was only an inch away from him.
"What's that brat doing? Could it be that he's not here to destroy us, but for suicide?"
Elder Hiroshi frowned. At first, he was hoping to be entertained; to add some thrill into his boring life. However, it would seem that there would be no show. It would end before it could even start.
"What a waste of my feelings. To think a proud and stoic person like me actually made quite a few expressions for this kind of trash. What a troll!"
Tsune Takeshi harrumphed. The disdain he felt for Ye Lingchen peaked. It was as though he expected a champion, but found out later that it was just a peasant—such a revolting feeling.
Only half an inch left!
The edge of the blades had seemingly touched Ye Lingchen's hair!
Right at the very last moment, Ye Lingchen finally made his move!
All that happened without any sign. Right at the fine line between life and death, something happened.
Ye Lingchen was like the sea's surface that stayed still for a long time. Just when everyone thought it was perfectly safe, a huge crushing wave appeared with a sudden roar!
His nimble body twisted at a weird angle, making a movement that was unimaginable to a regular person. It was as though every part of his body had gained independence and could move on their own!

He accurately dodged all the attacks at the very last moment!
The blades brushed past him by only one millimeter!
In the next instant, Ye Lingchen raised his hands and they turned into a blur. It was difficult for others to follow his strong claws. All they could see were countless afterimages flying about!
Even Elder Hiroshi could only barely see them after focusing his attention, much less the others.
Ye Lingchen flawlessly executed the Dragon-Catcher Hand. Due to his Qi Refinement, his palms were all the more dextrous, allowing for speed and strength without sacrificing one or the other. It was as sharp as an eagle's claws and as quick as a cat!
Five seconds later, Ye Lingchen's movement came to a halt!
Then, clanging sounds could be heard as the blades fell to the floor!
The hands of the five armed martial artists were empty. They were disarmed by Ye Lingchen and had their weapons thrown to the ground!
"This… How is this possible?"
Tsune Takeshi's eyes bulged as he was shaken to the core. He stared wide-eyed as he looked at the blades on the floor.
Ye Lingchen's ability had once again reached a new height in his mind. It was absolutely terrifying.
The jealousy in his heart grew stronger. 'We're both young men. Why do you have such powerful abilities? Are you cheating? This power should belong to a chosen one like me! Nobody else can be qualified to have such abilities!'
The calmness on Elder Hiroshi's face was slowly replaced by a look of shock.
The speed of Ye Lingchen's claw technique had definitely surpassed the speed of a cat!
How was that possible?
How could a human surpass the speed of a cat? One should know that a cat's speed was seven times faster than a snake! How could a human achieve that?
Elder Hiroshi did not expect his countless research to be proven wrong in that instant!
However, after he recovered from the shock, he then looked at Ye Lingchen's body with a gaze that was filled with greed. Such a person was the best type of research material, right?
If Elder Hiroshi thought that way, much less the other workers. Even if they have conducted unique experiments, they were surprised by that sight. In fact, they were even suspecting if Ye Lingchen was a genetically modified human!
On the second floor, along with the five martial artists entering a daze, the other 10 man-beast hybrids had also unwittingly stopped their attacks. Their brains were trapped in a dazed state.
Everything that happened earlier was like a dream to them.
They were unable to see what had happened, much less how Ye Lingchen did it. They were powerless to retaliate before being disarmed by Ye Lingchen!
"How could you freaks of nature bear to continue living in this world? Your existence is not only a waste of oxygen, it's also a taint to our beautiful world!"
In the silence, Ye Lingchen suddenly burst forth with criticism in an authoritative voice. That caused the man-beast hybrids to feel increasingly embarrassed.
"You...should kill yourselves!"
'Mm? Kill ourselves?'
'Are you kidding me?'
The five martial artists' eyes popped wide open. The embarrassment in their hearts disappeared in an instant as they stared at Ye Lingchen with their furious red eyes filled with hatred.
'Asking us to kill ourselves after criticizing us? Are you insulting our intelligence?'
"Kill ourselves? F*ck you!"
One of them bellowed. His body was strong and sturdy. After losing his weapon, his hand transformed into a tiger's claw and swiped at Ye Lingchen as he roared!

Blair Nys: Blood and Benevolence
Blair is a young man and even of royal heritage. As such his life has followed a strict plan since birth. Only for it to suddenly, in the time span of a finger snipping, change. Connections to another world opened up. Humans with powers made of the wildest imaginations, stepped out of them, calling themselves cultivators. Naturally, earth’s population went into an uproar. One piece of information created an especially great stir. The cultivators were there to pick disciples. Millions rushed to them, and Blair wanted to be one of them. There was just one problem. His lord father was strictly against interaction with those magical beings. He always dreaded a foreign power gaining influence in his court. Well, the old man never changes, and now it was the same as ever. His sister wasn´t even allowed to study abroad. However, all his senses told Blair that the future lay in the cultivator's hands. His plan was to gain knowledge, power, and maybe influence. Then he would return. One night he simply vanished in the darkness, away from his father’s claws. Will he succeed? That is hard to tell. The immortal world is an unforgiving place, even worse than earth. It’s just that Blair doesn’t know that yet. Can he survive there, and gain a footing in the new era of qi and godly hermits? Only time will tell, and Blair has to fight for every minute. Authors note: Give the story a try. It’s my personal blend of qi, cultivation, and struggles of morality and power. If I can deliver on all that is another question, but I will give it my best. As a further note, I am not using any of the usual strict realms and extreme power differences. It’s more about gathering and refining qi. Whoever uses his chances, sneak attacks, intuitions, and skills in a better way wins. However, having more or better qi will help, but I am not at a point where I have written a lot of that, so I might promise too much. Thanks for reading so far and checking my synopsis out, now you might give the story a try. Have fun. The picture is from JCK5D (Pixabay)

The Experimental Dungeon
Having all your memories erased and be reborn as a baby without any knowledge, or giving the job of managing a Dungeon without being its Core – a very easy decision for everyone, right? Right? Right? “I really should have remembered from all those fanfics and dungeon stories that those ROBs always screw with their mortal playthings” growls Claudia as she checked her Status for the umpteenth time. “How dare that... that...that manipulative thing did this to me… And no matter what extra options he gifts me with, I will NOT use them to create a hentai dungeon or anything like that” This will not be the usual dungeon core-type story found around here, but the main difference will only be explained in chapter 4 by the Dungeon Pixie. Also – despite the warning please don’t expect any explicit scenes in this story. The warnings are there because mature themes will be mentioned (and not only because the Higher Power provided some special options), but the MC is dead set on evading those options as she sees them as traps. So there are no explicit descriptions planned at all. If that changes I will give extra warnings in the chapter title, but I plan on handling things other ways. Later chapters might go a bit farther than the simple mentions in chapter 2, but don’t expect much more. Status Update 04. April 22 Writing Buffer used up, as said before I'm switching to one chapter a week on fridays. The new cover is the second placeholder, but what I really want will have to be commissioned and take a while. At least it is better than the map-part from chapter 4 that was the first placeholder.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.

A Loner's Calling
Additional Tags: Weak to OP, Ruthless Male Lead Ren, a high school student, was summoned along with his classmates to another world. Their job was to unite the 10 continents warring with each other. Unlike wars among countries, wars across continents were in a whole other league. Death was always nearby, creeping near to take away your life. Luckily, they were given abilities by the God in order to cope with their lack of experience, as well as a one month protection inside the heavenly dome for training, preventing their death. But Ren however, was given something else entirely. “[Loner] title activated, declining invitation to heavenly dome. Remaining in current world…” _____________________________________________________________________ A/N: Ok, so for those wondering about my other fiction, it's still alive. I plan on continuing it, and I plan on posting the next chapter for it about on or after Christmas. The reason for it was because all of my plans, layout, even outline, as well as some chapters I was suppose to release were deleted thanks to a mishap by my classmate. That really triggered me so I got unmotivated, but I plan on continuing it so don't worry. Also, I plan on writing this new series, much more because there is no more classes (CHRISTMAS BREAK HERE I COME!!!), sadly, I still have to take a removal exam because I failed one of my subjects (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!) Well anyway, that's enough for me, enjoy!
