I Am A Prodigy Chapter 650

Miracle Island…
Dong Miaomiao was busy managing the medicinal herbs in the herb garden with Hao Yun by her side. She would occasionally ask about the medicinal effects of the herbs, but her focus was still on something else in the distance.
Over there, Little Green and Little Grey were teasing Little White. They surrounded Little White and prodded at it occasionally, causing Little White to roll on the ground nonstop. The pair of wolves and the tiger were all enjoying the game.
"They're just bullying Little White while they can. When Little White gets bigger, their roles would be reversed." Hao Yun chuckled, then stated enviously, "I wonder how God Ye trained them to be so intelligent. I'm so jealous."
"It's not just the animals. Look at how well these herbs are growing. Their development in a single day is almost as much as a year in the wild. Look at this patch, these herbs are extremely picky about their surroundings and would die with the slightest mistake. However, look at how well full of life they are now. None of them had any issues. This is a miracle!" Dong Miaomiao exclaimed in shock.
Right then, Little Green and Little Grey's ears perked up, then stuck out their tongues excitedly and howled as they ran toward the same direction…
Little White was not to be left behind. It rolled around once more and got up on its feet, then excitedly followed the wolves.
'Could it be…'
Dong Miaomiao and Hao Yun exchanged looks and quickly dropped what they were doing, slowly walking over.
For Little Green and Little Grey to be like that, it must be their master's return.
As expected, as they neared the shore, a cruise ship was slowly approaching.
"Little Green, Little Grey, did you miss me?"
The sudden voice stunned Little Green and Little Grey, stopping them in their tracks as they looked around in surprise.
"Why are you stupefied? Come over here!"
The voice rang out once more, causing the hair on their backs to stand on end as they looked toward Ye Lingchen with absolute surprise.
"Sob sob sob."
"Daddy, are you speaking?"
"That's right, it's me." Ye Lingchen smiled. The system's dog Language was quite accommodating. It did not require Ye Lingchen to bark like a dog. He only had to move his lips to communicate, avoiding the awkwardness.
"Wow! I can finally hear daddy speak!"
Little Green and Little Grey howled excitedly, then ran around Ye Lingchen, rubbing at his thigh repeatedly with their heads.
"Did you maintain your practice all these while?" Ye Lingchen asked in a stern tone.
"Yes, yes! We maintained our training every day. We're not very strong." Little Green and Little White answered eagerly, then added, "It's Little White that's being lazy. He would always run off and play. Hmph, so disobedient!"

Right then, Little White still did not know that he was being ratted out by Little Green and Little Grey, running along and looking at Ye Lingchen innocently, wanting to jump into his embrace.
"Hm, not bad."
Ye Lingchen nodded and carried Little White in his arms, caressing its head.
Little White narrowed its eyes, absolutely enjoying Ye Lingchen's caress. Meanwhile, Little Green and Little Grey were giving Little White envious stares. They were already fully grown and were unable to be carried in Ye Lingchen's arms like Little White.
"God Ye (President Ye), you're back," Dong Miaomiao and He Yun came right after, greeting him. However, their eyes and mouth were opened wide with shock immediately as they saw him.
"Ah!"
Dong Miaomiao screamed and jogged over.
She directly bypassed Ye Lingchen and looked at the items being unloaded from the cruise ship. "T-t-this is red Lingzhi?!"
"And this is...dried human placenta1!"
"Ah! That's knotweed! Such a big one. It must be at least 70 years, right?"
Dong Miaomiao's face was flushed red as her body shook in excitement. She could not believe what she was looking at.
Although she was born in a pharmaceutical family and was considered well learned, they had never seen any of those herbs before her. Just any one of them would be enough to have her go through great lengths to acquire.
They were just too rare. Moreover, they were all well-aged, making them extremely rare.
"Be more gentle! Don't hurt the herbs!" Dong Miaomiao could not help but warn the staff unloading the goods, carefully watching over the herbs.
"P-p-president Ye, these herbs are all ours?" Until then, she still could not believe her eyes.
"These are gifts from friends," Ye Lingchen gave a casual reply, then added, "Our herb garden is still quite empty. You make some arrangements and transplant these herbs there."
"Of course! I'll take good care of them!" Dong Miaomiao guaranteed.
"Wow! Such a big piece of narra timber!" Next was Hao Yun's turn to be surprised. She lacked knowledge in medicinal herbs, but her family worked in the field of construction. Her knowledge of decorative items was legitimate. With that, her breath was taken away by what she saw.
"If you find a master wood sculptor, he can sculpt something extraordinary!" Hao Yun caressed the narra wood, then her focus shifted to something else. "Ah, what a big piece of blood coral! It's even bigger than my head. I've never seen one so big!"
"There's so much ebony here. Your place will look grand if you make furniture with them!"
Hao Yun's eyes glowed as though she was seeing a luxurious mansion.
"Your friends are too rich!" Hao Yun pouted at Ye Lingchen. 'Why don't I have such rich friends.'

"It's nothing much," Ye Lingchen replied.
Those things were given to him by the great families in the Sichuan-Tibet region. These families had hundreds of years of accumulated wealth, resulting in very deep pockets. It was not surprising to see some rare treasures.
However, those were nothing for Ye Lingchen for he had the Wood Spirit Constitution. If he needed special wood, he could just plant it himself. Right then, he had already planted several special timbers around his island.
"Oh right, God Ye, since you're back, you should control that workaholic!" Hao Yun stated out of the blue.
"Workaholic?" Ye Lingchen was mildly surprised.
"Follow me."
Right then, the people working at the construction site were working their butts off. The results were great. The foundation was laid well and some simple structures were being built.
A figure was standing at the side with a form in her hand, occasionally giving instructions.
"Work faster! You there, you've been drinking for three minutes!"
"This frame seems loose. Go adjust it quickly."
"Hey, over there! Your installation is crooked. Can't you see it? Pay attention!"
Hao Yun looked annoyed. "God Ye, you see it now? Ever since this person came, she's been barking orders non stop. Moreover, she's even overstaying her welcome. She would rouse the workers for work early in the morning and won't even let them rest, all in fear of not meeting the deadline!"
Ye Lingchen forced a smile and walked over, "Director Ouyang, why are you here?"
"President Ye." Seeing Ye Lingchen, Ouyang Qing answered respectfully, "I've taken some time off to come to have a look as this will be our headquarters after all. However, I noticed that these people are half-assed with their work, so I decided to stay."
"Hmph! I'm here with my grandfather. How is it possible for them to work with a half-assed attitude?!" Hao Yun retorted. "Do you know who's my grandfather? A lot of workers came to us to complain about you. If not for God Ye, they would've quit working long ago!"
"Let them quit then. I've got plenty of people wanting to do this!" Ouyang Qing replied coldly, "We're paying them to work, not for them to enjoy life!"
"Tch, you don't even give them sufficient rest. How will they have the energy to work?" Hao Yun pouted. "You think they're working office jobs? Do you think they can keep going by just drinking some coffee? Bosses like you are slave drivers!"
Ye Lingchen quickly pulled them apart. Ouyang Qing's work habit was acting up again. The moment her female boss persona kicks in, she would be exceptionally critical. A construction site was different from a company's management after all. Moreover, she was only pushing hard because of her desire to have Wanrong Technology's headquarters built faster.
"Director Ouyang, this matter with the construction can't be rushed. You need to let them have sufficient time to rest for them to work hard. You should give them more reasonable rest allocations," Ye Lingchen suggested.
He did not ban Ouyang Qing from managing. Somebody had to do the supervision. Although Hao Yun's grandfather was a grandmaster architect, that did not mean the workers would do things properly. In that sense, Ouyang Qing's approach was not bad, just that she was a little too impatient.
"President Ye, since this will be our headquarters, we must be extra careful. If anything happened, it would be disastrous. I'll have to be in charge," Ouyang Qing rebutted.
"I understand your concerns, but everything must have a limit. Don't let others turn rebellious," Ye Lingchen reminded. He then added, "You've been here all these while?"
Ouyang Qing nodded. "There is a lot of space here. I took some projects from the company over since I can do the experimentation here. Oh yeah, President Ye, the intelligent car design that you told us previously has a particular part that just won't meet requirements."
Ye Lingchen raised his brows and followed Ouyang Qing to the testing location.
There were a few simple shacks set up as Ouyang Qing's base of operations. Within it was complete with computers and other facilities. On the outside were some larger experiments. An ordinary-looking sedan was parked outside on the road.
A few employees were fiddling with them.
Managing to set up a base of operations even in a place like that. She did live up to her name as a workaholic.
Wanrong Technology began producing Little Cloud, the smart cleaning robot. Following that, they also produced some water purifiers. With an improved reputation, Ye Lingchen finally started on the bigger technological projects, setting his eyes on the automobile, Wanrong Technology's original project.
Wanrong Technology had almost bankrupted because of its failure with self-driving cars. Now, Ye Lingchen finally allowed them to go back to the automotive industry. However, they were not allowed to delve straight into self-driving cars, but instead, start with intelligent system assisted cars!

Guys, we're just as surprised as you are when translating this. Urgh...there goes my appetite for dinner. Also, as the story went on, we believe the author just took some names off a list of rare chinese medicine and picked a name as the following plot seems to treat everything as herbs.

Watch as Li tries to maintain his peaceful daily life in a chaotic world full of magic and knights.===Foreword===Slow Pace: This novel does have a slow pace with things building up piece by piece over time. However, this also means that the further you read, the more connections will begin linking up and the more the story will start building up.OP MC: The MC in this novel is extremely powerful from the very beginning. If this appeals to you, then check this novel out.Crafting/Farming Warning: This is a warning to say that if you are looking for a novel that focuses entirely on a crafting system or farming, then I have to say that this novel does eventually move on from the whole farming premise, getting much larger in scope overall.===Doever Writing Quality Guarantee===I can give a solid guarantee that the writing quality of this novel is of the highest tier on this website. Even though I would like to go through many of the initial chapters for a proofread, I still believe the writing quality is top notch for this website. There will be very few mistakes, and the few that do slip by me will not affect readability at all. Now, you may not agree with how the novel develops, but I can at the least guarantee that you will have no trouble actually reading what happensOf course, I am not perfect, so please feel free to point out mistakes and problems and I will be more than happy to fix them! But most importantly, whether you have criticisms or enjoy the book, thanks for reading!

But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.
