Soul For A Girlfriend? Chapter 32

For the last three days, I've been passively active in the process of stalking her. Albeit, this is something that Lilith should do, because gaining intel of a target should be her part of the work.
And during stalking her, I've met with Yasurouka on some occasions but we didn't talk, which was completely acceptable since I won't talk to a person I don't know even if he was mutual friends with my friend.
Every time we would meet, it was mostly that we would just nod at each other to acknowledge our presence. The fact that she acknowledged my presence was better than being ignored at all.
Yasurouka was indeed a tough target.
I was sipping my choco milk can while carefully trying to hide my presence in the cafeteria. Yasurouka was sitting with Kizhashi and some other girls who were from a different class. They seemed to be really friendly with each other.
She was smiling while covering her mouth with her left hand. She was a well-mannered person. By well mannered I meant that she wasn't as obnoxious as the people she used to hang out with.
Seifuku was busy with his club activities, so he wasn't with them.
"Which one?" I heard a familiar voice ask a question that was meant for me.
I glanced at Yukimura standing beside me with a grin on his face. "Hmm… I don't know." I said, while narrowing my eyes at him.
"Ehh?" His confusion was visible on his face.
I just gave him a shrug and smiled. Since he knew me as someone who wasn't interested in love, a vague answer would be better than a direct one.
"Anyways, I'm going to my club so see you later." He walked off and waved at me. I gave him a nod.

Now that I am alone, I can focus on the points that I got to know from stalking her.
She wasn't as extroverted as I assumed her to be. She was a bit introverted. To be specific, she conversed with many people. She would never give in with their flow. She was more of an ambivert person.
Even if she is in a group, she wouldn't start a conversation. But if she was to take part in one, she would actively do that. That means if I want to talk with her, I would've to take the initiative of the conversation.
Also, she always comes to school alone but walks back home with Seifuku and Kizhashi. It was a bit weird since she must feel like a third wheel between them. But from what I've observed, both of them never act in a way to make Yasuouka feel like she was interrupting them.
From that I could conclude that she was really close friends with Kizhashi. Because I don't think anyone would want a third person always hanging around their partner. If they had that level of understanding, then they must be good friends.
As for Seifuku, he wasn't friends with Yasurouka at first. I assumed that Kizhashi introduced her to Seifuku as a mutual friend. Because during the start of highschool, Seifuku used to talk with me and Yukimura, so I knew about his interaction with girls.
He was a handsome guy, which resulted in him getting an unwanted amount of attention from girls as soon as the school year started.
I also noticed that she likes to study a lot. She genuinely enjoyed studying, which surprised me because I'm so lazy that I don't enjoy studying. That's why my score was consistently 85%. Her score, on the other hand, was always among the range of 93-97%.

Sometimes, she would visit the school library in her free time to complete her assignments.
Today was one such day, when our biology teacher had given us some homework and if my assumptions were correct, Yasurouka would visit the library in the last period since it's a free period. Knowing Kizhashi, I know she would just pass up on the plan of studying in the library.
So there is no one who can hinder this upcoming event unless it's Yasurouka herself. Now all I have to do is wait and observe how this event unfolds.
The remaining periods after lunchtime passed pretty quickly except the maths period, which felt like an eternity.
The bell rang for the last period. We all stood up and bowed as the teacher left the class. This was a free period so everyone was talking to each other and the noise of their chatting soon filled the classroom.
It was really hot so I untucked my shirt. In our school, untucking the shirt wasn't a big deal since it wasn't a violation of any disciplinary action.
On top of that, it's the last period, who cares?
I looked over at Yasurouka's desk and noticed her getting up, leaving with her bag on her shoulder.
She was talking with Kizhashi back and forth. Seems like both of them were trying to convince the other to follow them. In the end, Kizhashi pouted and Yasurouka had a smug look on her face. She poked her cheeks and then left the class.
I slowly got up and left the class. Knowing that she was heading to the library, I took another route instead of following her. Since it would be suspicious for me to follow her.
Well, after stalking her for three days, I'm already suspicious enough.
I walked up to the library, which was on the top floor. I entered the library but I don't know if she has arrived yet or not. The aroma of books hit my nose. I glanced over at the entire library, but it seemed quite empty today.
I walked over to the librarian's desk, but he wasn't there. The possibility of the library being closed as of the last period ran through my mind and I quickly discarded it since it made little sense.
If the library was indeed closed for the last period, then there would be noticed outside the door. I walked around the shelves while waiting for Yasurouka to arrive.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

While marked with warning for profanity and sexual content, it is extremely mild, uncommon to the point of near-non-existence and lacks any detailed descriptions. In some cases it is litte more than inuendo's or vague references. Updates will be weekly: Saturday.

The Last Death Mage
Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. (For example, in the prologue that gave a hint at what happened to the MC, will be enhanced so that the gore invokes more descriptive/complete mental pictures, though it may wait.) ~Tyroth Gideon

Jodha's Jalal (The Mughal Saga I)
"Mark my words, Champavati, Queen of Amber, your daughter, Princess Jodha will be wed off to the Mughal household!"A fortune teller had warned Queen of Amber, about her daughter's marriage to the Mughal; but being a Rajput Queen she knew how much hatred they held towards the Mughals and so she tried to sweep the thought out of her mind. But who can erase what is already written! Destiny created man and Jodha's destiny was attached to the Mughal Empire. This is the story of Princess Jodha of Amber and her husband, the Emperor of Hindustan, Jalal-uddin Muhammad Akbar.~A LITTLE BACKDROP TO THE HISTORICAL ACCURACY OF THE STORY:*This story is fictional. Emperor Akbar did rule India from 1556 to 1605 but he did never marry a woman named Jodha. His first Rajput wife and mother of his heir was Harkha Bai from Amber. In eighteenth century, a British official messed her name up when he first mentioned her as Jodha and then the name became even more popular because of mainstream media. This story does not intend to hurt any religious sentiments, it uses the name Jodha however because common people today know of Emperor Akbar's chief Rajput wife as Jodha Bai*Highest Ranking#1 in Jodha - August 6, '21#1 in Akbar - October 16, '21#1 in 16th - October 16, '21#1 in Jalal - November 14, '21#1 in Mughal - November 14, '21#2 in India - November 14, '21#1 in Princess - December 17, '21#1 in Historical Fiction - December 22, '21#4 in Century - January 5, '22#1 in Empress - May 17, '22
