Soul For A Girlfriend? Chapter 114

It was lunchtime, and I was wondering whether or not I should text Kizhashi because a lot of her friends surrounded her. Giving it a thought for a few moments, I realised that talking later would be the best option.
Lunchtime is the only time when I can interact with Senpai. This target was way harder because I can't have much interaction with her outside some specific periods as not only our section was different, she was in a completely different year.
I stood up from my chair and walked towards the door. As I was about to leave, Gaisen's voice called out my name and I turned towards him to notice that he was busy writing something on a piece of paper.
"Hey, can you call Haruka for me?" He yelled at me from his seat.
"Nishimiya?" I asked him and he nodded.
"Yeah, tell him that Gaisen needs to talk about the selections." He said, pointing towards himself.
"Ok" I joined the tip of my index and thumb finger and showed him an affirmative gesture.
"Also tell him to…" He again opened his mouth to say something.
"Yeah?" I nodded in a questioning manner, but he just shook his head and gestured for me to go.
"Nevermind, just call him."
I walked towards Nishimiya's class, which was right next to ours. Gaisen told me to call him because I have talked with Nishimiya before and we two knew each other at an acquaintance level.
Standing in front of their class doorway, my eyes moved left to right as I scanned the whole class to search for him, but since everyone was just standing and roaming around in the class, it was difficult to spot him.
Suddenly, a girl with short brunette hair came up in front of me and her hazel eyes were looking at me in a suspicious manner. She opened her mouth and asked, "Do you need something?"

"Um… yes, I was searching for someone." I replied to the girl who was standing in front of me. I knew her very well, as she was none other than Isobe.
"Who?" She narrowed her eyes at me.
"Nishimiya-kun… is he here?"
"You two are friends?" She inquired further, which was completely normal as I would ask questions if some random dude pulls up in the class and asks for Tsūmen.
"Kind of, he is needed for the selection process."
"Oh…" Seems like my choice of words satisfied her as she turned away from me and called out his looking into the crowd of students.
"Oye! Harukaaa-kun"
"Hai, Hai!" Following her gaze, I noticed Nishimiya replying with a small wave as he walked towards us.
"What is… oh Sakamaki-kun… what's up?" His gazes were was on Isobe until he noticed me. He greeted me with his usual cheerful energy that I found hard to reciprocate, so I just gave him an awkward wave smile.
"Yeah actually Gaisen was calling for you, so just him in our class." Looking at us continuing our conversation, Isobe left and went back to her group. I could see the Uyeno girl staring towards us.
"What does he need?" He said, walking outside and taking a small pause to look at me.
"He said something about the selections." I specified and as soon as those words left my mouth, it seemed like he recalled something.
"Oh… shit, I forgot." He ran his hands through his smooth hair and patted me on the shoulder before leaving towards our class, "Alright, good call dude."
"See you later." He waved at me and I just gave him a nod. Students like him get busy during the sports festival as it's of course, their time of the year.

I was heading towards the kendo club now. I'll have to use a fresh approach now and thanks to my reputation that I gained overnight. I'm going to completely exploit that reputation to get what I need.
On the way to the club, I bought my usual chocy milk. The first thing I have to notice is Senpai's reaction. Looking at her composure, it seemed like me asking her out didn't affect her in the least.
The club was a bit crowded today, which I wasn't expecting, but none of them were actually practicing. Most of the members were actually sitting around or surfing through their mobiles or something.
As I walked a bit further towards the sparring room, I received a lot of stares and overheard some conversation. I actually expected this, because it's the members of the club whose president was just asked out by me.
There was a lot of noise around me, but I could hear the sound of people sparring in the room. Turning around the corner, I was met by two dudes blocking my way.
I walked next to one of them and, unfortunately; it was none other than Vivian. His gazes shifted towards me and we shared an awkward stare for some moment before he clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Why are you here?" He asked in an annoyed voice.
"Definitely not to meet you." I replied sarcastically.
"Brat! I know that very well." He sighed and put his hand around my shoulder.
"Why did you ask then?" I looked at him, but his eyes were fixed on Naoto sparring in front of us. She was gracefully swinging her sword at her opponent while her opponent was completely overwhelmed by her offense.
"You sure love getting on my nerves don't you?" He replied after a few moments.
"I will neither agree nor disagree."
"Vivian-kun… will you just shut… who is that?" I heard a voice, which was clearly directed at Vivian. Looking towards the voice, it was a guy standing next to Vivian.
"Wait, who are you talking with?" He asked again, as his dark coloured eyes shifted from Vivian to me for a moment and he blinked momentarily.
"Umm… no one in particular." Vivian replied vaguely, as to not draw much attention towards me.
"Is that so? You seem to know him quite well." He said with a smug smile as he leaned forward a bit to take a clearer look at his face. He was taller than Vivian, with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail.
"Shut up! Just focus on the match goddammit!" Vivian exclaimed and that guy just laughed at the troubled expression on his face.
"Just an acquaintance who lost his way, isn't it right, buddy?" Vivian asked for my affirmation, which he indirectly meant for me to leave.
"Is it?" I tilted my head in confusion.

Witch Hunt. A Warhammer Fiction
The adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt continue!Adebar von Bolstedt, fugitive noble scion of the Empire, stuck in the Great Forest of Talabecland, is gravely wounded by the bestial denizens of the dark wintery woods, only surviving due to the timely arrival of aid and relief in the form of the masters of this land. What begins as a pleasant stay with the wild noblemen of Talabecland soon becomes a matter of faith and tradition as old as the Empire itself, when he finds himself trying to root out a coven of witches from a society that prides itself on rural living and knowledge of the mysteries of the wild. This quest will either see von Bolstedt's shaken faith in his own god reforged into an intolerant blade, or shattered like ice. Word from the AuthorGreetings! Witch Hunt plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This is the second part of the adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt, as such I recommend reading part one, titled "The Hand of Sigmar" first. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
