Chapter 121: Sister Nian Didn’t Get a Chance to Explain

Liang Bowen looked at his watch and said, “He should be arriving soon.”

Chen Yuan scoffed and said, “So what if he’s coming, I’m not interested in his lessons at all. He’s here because of Qiao Chen, anyway. It’s not the 80s anymore. I can find lessons by famous lecturers online easily. Anyway, does he actually know our curriculum? He has been teaching researchers all this time and he might not even be as good at teaching as Lao Shen.”

The students in Class A thought about it and fell silent.

They had a bad relationship with Class B, and hence Qiao Chen. Qiao Chen was even good friends with Zhao Jingwei that hurt Sister Nian and Shen Qingqing. They didn’t have good impressions about the professor that Qiao Chen had managed to invite.

As they chatted, the PA system sounded.

They were asked to gather at the lecture hall.

Liang Bowen smiled and put away his earphones. He then looked up and said nonchalantly, “Speaking of the devil, he’s here already.”

“I really don’t want to go,” Shen Qingqing said as she pouted.

She didn’t want to see Qiao Chen’s prideful look. The students from Class B were getting boastful in school for the past few days.

It was as though the professor from Qing University was their waiter.

Even though they didn’t want to go, they started to walk towards the lecture hall.

Qiao Nian saw how unmotivated they were and said, “Maybe it’s not as bad as you think…”

Liang Bowen patted her on the shoulder as he thought that Qiao Nian was trying to console them. He smiled and said, “Sister Nian, don’t try to make us feel better. We’re more worried about you than anything else.”

Only he and Chen Yuan knew what the relationship between Qiao Chen and Qiao Nian was like.

Sister Nian must have felt horrible from what Qiao Chen and Fu Ge did.

“Qiao Nian, did you take Chen Chen’s bracelet? It went missing, and you were the only one that spoke to her just now. Return it to her and apologize. We will pretend that nothing happened,” one of the girls, closer to Qiao Chen, said pridefully.

The students from Class A saw that the students from Class B were here and came back. It was as though they were preparing to fight.

Qiao Nian frowned and looked at Qiao Chen.

She didn’t notice that Qiao Chen was wearing a bracelet.

Shen Qingqing pushed the girl away furiously and screamed. “How dare you create such a big ruckus in front of my class? You should ask Qiao Chen where she put her bracelet. Why are you asking Nian Nian, anyway? Nian Nian isn’t her mum. She’s not responsible for Qiao Chen. Are you guys serious?”

The girl that was pushed away glared at her angrily and said, “Do you know the brand of the bracelet Chen Chen lost?”

Qiao Nian didn’t know. She then asked nonchalantly, “What brand is it?”
