Night at Lake Heart Hotel.

Shin checking himself in front of the mirror. He is wearing a perfectly fit white colored tux, and coupled with black long sleeves underneath. He partnered it with black pants and a pair of white leather shoes.

After fixing his hair, Shin go out his room and walk straight to the event hall. And when he is walking through the corridor, Shin bump into Arthur.

Arthur is wearing a black tux with a coiling golden dragon embroidered on its left side. He look at Shin and smilingly said. "Yo! still wearing plain fashion as usual Huh?"

The corner of Shin's mouth twitch when he heard what Arthur have said. Few seconds later, Shin smiled at Arthur skeptically before saying. "Yeah, you are right. After all, I am no much with you in that aspect."

Arthur cross his arms in front of him while smugly nodding his head. He is about open his mouth to say something, when Shin added on his words. "Yeah, your suit is too good for someone who is assigned as a security personnel."

*Cough* *Cough*

Arthur choked up and didn't manage to say anything when he heard what Shin have said. He glared at Shin who have a mocking look at his face. "You!..."

Shin smirks and walk pass Arthur while saying in his heart. 'Heh, want to play words with me? You are still too green, Golden Boy.'

*Clack-Clack*

Shin and Arthur entered the event hall simultaneously. But they stop their steps, the moment they set foot on it. They have attracted a lot of attention.

Why? It is because the moment they entered the hall, all the lights inside turned off except for the spotlight that is directed to them. All the guests stop what they are doing and turned their heads towards the two handsome young men standing at the entrance.

Shin is gotten off guard on what have happened. He frowned his brows and become confused on what's going on. At the same time Arthur immediately formed a bright smile while waving his right hand. And from the looks of it, it seems like he is enjoying being in the center of attention.

This lasted for few seconds before the lights turned back on. Then the emcee immediately went to the platform and speak on the mic. "Ahm... Excuse me everyone. There are some slight malfunction occurred earlier, that's why something unexpected happened. But it is backed to normal, so you can be at ease now. And we are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you."

Shin facepalmed and shook his head while saying to his heart. "D*mn, that was such an embarrassing moment."

While Arthur is still smugly walking forward and said to himself. "Tsk, What a satisfying entrance. Heh, even the heaven is letting a slight accident happened, just to get me a grand entrance. Hahaha... That's how should be a handsome man like me entered an event."

Arthur is about to sit on a sofa when a beautiful lady in golden dress appeared in front of him.

Arthur froze and smiled stiffly before saying stutteringly. "Bi- Big Sis, I- I'm just che- checking the furniture i- if there is some problems with it."

Shiella formed a charming smile before saying. "Is that so? Then how is it?"

"Goo- Good! It's pretty Good!" replied Arthur almost immediately.

"OH!?... Then if you are done with it, go back to your post!!!" said Shiella while pointing at the corner of the hall.

"Yes Ma'am!!!" said Arthur before rushing towards the sideline. He release a frustrated sigh while saying to himself. "What the hell? I am still your biological brother! Why the hell am I always being assigned in this kind of job?"

Shin got a glimpse on what have had happened and shakes his head while finding a corner to isolate himself.

Shin sat on a secluded sofa and watch others on the sideline. He didn't like attending this kind of gatherings, because for him it is just a waste of time.

From what he have learned from the Mafia Camp and from his past experiences after being adopted by the Springfield Family, these kind of gatherings were just a way for others to bragged about their backgrounds and achievements. They were also praising each other in the surface, but in fact, they were just scheming and backstabbing on each other backs.

They were here wearing their fancy clothes to boast it to others. They are wearing a fake smiles on their faces, just to show some fake respect.

These are the reasons that Shin think, why are this kind of events are pointless.

Shin just sat there and wait for the whole event to come to its end.

Then after few minutes of waiting the emcee of the event walked on the platform once again and call for everyone's attention. "Good Evening our dear guests. Since everyone is already present, then let us start the program. But before all of that, we would like to call our very special guest here on stage for the opening number."

Then the emcee paused for a few seconds before introducing their special guest. "Ladies and Gentlemen we present to you, the international idol, the young Soul Diva of the Souring Continent and the pride of the Stuart Family. Please all welcome 'Princess Alice Stuart'!!!"

After that over introduction, Alice walks towards the stage gracefully while having a beautiful smile on her cold face.

All the guests on the hall were clapping their hands, especially the young men from different kinds of wealthy families who are energetically cheering for her.

Well no one can blame them. After all the girl that is walking towards the stage is having a face that can bring down an entire nation with her beauty. Especially with her sky-blue colored dress with some lotus embroideries on the left side of its waist.

That dress is perfectly fit on her body showcasing her perfect curves. Her soft silver hair were tied in a bun on top of her head revealing her collarbones.

In the meantime Shin is starting blankly at the scene while saying to himself. "What!?..... That girl is a celebrity!? So that is why she is acting like that! She is so used to the spotlight where everyone were worshipping her. No wonder she had a 'Princess Syndrome'."

Shin sighed helplessly and watch the scene silently.

Alice stand at the center of the stage and wait for the guest to calmed down before she started singing.

Her voice is so mesmerizing to the point where everyone are drawn into it. She looks like an Angel that came down from the heaven just to sing a song for them.

Some of them are listening to her attentively while saying some praises from time to time, While some were in awe to say something.

"Such a beautiful voice. She really deserved her title as the young Soul Diva of this Continent."

"As expected of Princess Alice, she really lives up her name."

"Having a beautiful face coupled with her mesmerizing voice, she really looks like an Angel from above."

When Alice stopped singing, all of the guest are clapping their hands loudly, showing their appreciation of her talent.

Alice bowed her head to thank her audience before turning around to walk down the stage. But she paused for a few seconds the moment she turned her head sideways.

On an isolated sofa in the corner of the hall, Alice saw Shin calmly sitting there and looking at her placidly.

When Shin noticed that Alice is looking back at him, he formed a simple smile and nodded his head before raising the glass of orange juice on his hands. It is to show his appreciation for her song.

Alice brows were lock in a frown, when she saw Shin's action. Then she nodded her head slightly before completely turning around and walked down the stage while saying to in her heart. 'What is wrong with that guy? He is not even clapping his hands after hearing me sing. Hmph... Maybe he is just an idi*t that don't know anything about music."

That exchange is too brief for anyone to notice, but those who are involved in the 'misunderstanding' were able to see that.

'Tsk, see? It is obvious that there is something in between of those two. How dare he denied that?' cursed Arthur on his heart while glaring at Shin in a distance.

'Are those two really just met each other?' thought Leonard while putting his right hand on his chin.

'This is the first time that I've saw Alice act like that.' muttered Shiella to herself before taking a sip on the glass of wine that she were holding.

At the same time Shin put his orange juice down while muttering on himself. 'She has a very beautiful voice and the song that she have sang is perfectly fit for it. But she lacked the sincerity on it, making that song to become a little dull to the ears. If she put more feelings into it, then it is going to become even more beautiful.'

Then the program continues, Madam Springfield give an opening speech followed by some guests speakers.

Shin become bored because he have nothing else to do. He didn't even have anyone to talk with. He just sit there and wait for Shiella to call him, for his turn to perform his piece.

After some time the program end its main part and the guests become free to talk to each other.Then at this point of time Shiella give a signal to Shin, for him start his piece.

Shiella choose this moment for Shin, since she know that he didn't like being in the spotlight. At least at this part of the event Shin didn't need to sing in front of everyone. He only need to play the piano at the corner of the hall to have some background music, so that the event don't become dull.

Shin have learned different kinds of things on the Mafia Training Camp, including these kind of things. In fact music was his favorite in all of it, since in this subject he can become true to himself.

He even write some songs at his idle time, after he was adopted by the Springfield Family.

Shin walked towards the piano in the corner of the hall and unbutton his coat. Then he sit in front of the piano before closing his eyes while taking a deep breath. And after relaxing his mind, he slowly raise his hands and positioned it on top of the piano keys.

Shin pressed the first key very gently, resulting for its sound to ring softly. Then after that he continue pressing different keys successively in a gentle manner, creating a wonderful music.

At first the guests ignore the ringing sounds and just treat it as some random background music. But as the time goes by, more and more guests started to notice the unfamiliar yet beautiful music that the piano is creating.

The crowd stopped what they are doing and looked at the young man that is currently playing the piano. The guests inside the hall become quiet, letting Shin to play his piece peacefully.

The whole crowd are so amazed to the point that they become speechless and just stared at Shin blankly. They don't even have the guts to release a single sound, afraid of interrupting the young man in front of the piano and make the performance to become ruined.

The piece that Shin was playing is one of the songs that he have originally composed.

And because of the quiet atmosphere in the hall, Shin become carried away and started singing the song.

Shin's voice is manly yet so gentle. If Alice is like an Angel that have descended on earth, and can make others to showered her with praises, then Shin is like a simple storyteller but have the ability to to drag others in the world of fantasy.

The guests become an audience that are so dumbstruck to say something. Even Alice who have a lot of confidence on herself become speechless with an expression of disbelief on her face.

On the other hand, Shiella don't know whether to laugh or cry on what have happened. 'Heh, this guy don't want to stand on the spotlight but he is always attracting other's attention unconsciously.'

At the same time Arthur clicked his tounge and rolled his eyes at Shin. 'Tsk, what a showoff. Maybe I should consider learning how to play a piano too, since it have a more impact than my drumming skills.'

♪♪Ding.... ♪♪

Shin hit the last note of the song, indicating the end of his performance.

And when the song ended, the entire hall become still because of the silent crowd. So Shin is gotten off guard when turned his head. He stared blankly on the quiet crowd for a few seconds before regaining himself.

Shin stand up and do a gentle bow before going back to his sit. And that is only the time when the crowd come back to their senses. They give Shin an intense round of applause before starting to talk to each other.

"What a wonderful piece. What is the tittle of that song?"

"I have heard a lot songs already, but this is my first time hearing this kind of song."

"That young man sings very well. Is he some kind of celebrity?"

"Isn't he the one that arrived together with the young master of the Springfield Family."

Shin just finished packing his stuffs, and about to walk out his room when Arth entered through the door. He look at Shin and skeptically said. "Going to home after making a scene on Mom's event."

Shin rolled his eyes at him and said. "First of all, I didn't make a scene OK? I've just sing a song with piano, so it is not my fault if they become d*mbstr*ck because of it. Next is the gathering is already over? So I have nothing to do here now, isn't it? Therefore there is no reason for me to stay here, right."

"Tsk, acting high and mighty after showing off your singing skills? So.... how is the feeling being on the limelight Quite addicting isn't it? So you now understand why I always like standing on it, right?" said Arthur mischievously while putting down his backpack on the sofa.

"Addicting my *ss, don't drag me on the same level as yours, OK?" said Shin at Arthur while taking his bag and walking towards the exit.

Shin stop for a moment and turned his head at Arthur before asking. "Are you going home with me or you are staying here. I've heard that you lend your Jaguar to Leo, so if you are not coming then I'm going to leave you here."

Arthur immediately stand up and chase after Shin while saying. "Wait!!! Give me a ride back home."
