Child Of Destiny Chapter 402

...…
Bang!
Silver Claw immediately created a commission right after he jumped in the battlefield. He smashed his fist on the ground leaving a small crater on it while also creating a huge cloud of dust which spread out on his surroundings.
Swoosh!
That cloud of dust blocked the line of sight of everyone around it. At the same time, he also attracted the attention of everyone in the battlefield due to what he had done. And while the opposing side were still in the middle of stunned and confused state, Silver Claw immediately dashed out of the cloud of dust that he created and rushed towards the Potter Siblings with a great speed.
Molton was closely observing that cloud of dust, so it was natural for him to see the charging opponent who was rushing towards them.
Swoosh!
He didn't even think twice when he saw Silver Claw – he immediately rushed towards this guy without any hint of hesitation. It was because a single look at him was more than enough for Molton to know that this certain agent was not an average opponent.
While sprinting forward, Molton controlled his Mental Energy and made it rotate around his right arm as if it was a spinner.
He waited for Silver Claw to arrive at a certain distance before powerfully stomping his foot on the ground to forcefully halt his advance. And immediately after that, he threw his fist forward with a very strong force while also releasing the rotating Metal Energy around his arm.
'Nirvana Arts: Solar Halo'
Silver just smirked at the young man in front of him when he saw those actions. And before Molton could even throw his punch, his body suddenly turned transparent before appearing right behind the latter.
Due to that, Molton hit nothing but air with that powerful punch. And before continuing his charge, Silver Claw didn't forget to say something to him with a mocking tone. "I'll play with you later. Let me deal with your sister first."
But before he could even take another step forward, Silver Claw suddenly heard Molton smirking at him.
Boom!
A moment later, a powerful force suddenly exploded right in front of Silver Claw pushing him backwards and preventing him from moving forward.
Fortunately, he was fast enough to defend himself from that unexpected force by crossing his arms in front of him while creating an energy barrier with his Internal Qi.
Due to that, Silver Claw couldn't take another step forward to continue his charge. And before he could even think of a way to break through that powerful force that was pushing him, his peripheral vision suddenly caught a glimpse of a leg which was coming after his head.
Seeing that, he immediately uncrossed his arms and raised one of them to block the incoming kick.

Bang!
That kick was quite strong and forced him to slide back after getting hit. But aside from that, he didn't suffer any kind of injury from that attack.
After that, he stood up straight once again before looking at Molton who was currently looking back at him.
"Not that bad. I guess it is what I can expect from a member of the Potter Clan," said Silver Claw while shaking his right arm a little.
Boom!
A moment later, a powerful pressuring aura suddenly came out from his body as he released his Natural Force. And just like the people who wielded an evil power, there were some Evil Qi mixed in his Natural Force.
Seeing that, Molton's face suddenly became a little solemn – especially when he felt the pressure coming from his opponent. 'From the looks of it, this guy seems to be much stronger compared to those three guys chasing after us earlier. I need to be careful with this guy.'
Being properly trained by a Mentalism Family, Molton was able to guess how strong his opponents were just by looking at their respective auras. And if he guessed it correctly, then this guy standing in front of him was at least a Martial-Artist who was at the 'middle phase' of the 'Ethereal Opening Stage'.
Each stage of Martial-Art attainments were only divided with four basic phases which were the early, middle, late and peak phases respectively. But even if that was the case, there was still a huge disparity between those four phases. And from what he could see, this guy was indeed much stronger than the three guys who were being blocked by his 'senior brothers'.
Understanding his current situation, Molton became quite troubled at how he was going to deal with this guy.
But while he was still in the middle of his thoughts, he suddenly heard his sister's voice beside him, saying. "Don't be stubborn. You can't deal with him alone."
Hearing her, Molton immediately turned his head to the side while saying with full surprise. "Sis! But how about the others?"
"Don't worry, the assistance that I gave to them is more than enough to push the favor of his battle towards our side," replied Jillian while closely observing Silver Claw. And after a slight pause, she immediately added. "For now, we need to take care of this guy to ensure our success in this mission."
Bang!
After that, she immediately released her Mental Energy while also activating her bloodline powers at the same time.
Her eyes turned pitch-black removing all of the white colors in it. And alongside it, the raging Mental Energy surrounding her body suddenly transformed into a transparent black flame which was blazing very violently.
Seeing that, Molton immediately understood that his sister wanted to go all out from the get-go. After all, they were still not sure who was going to arrive in this place first; their opponents' backups or the people from the military who were going to support them.

Given that, Molton took off his round glasses and calmly folded it before putting it in his pocket. And when he raised his head to look towards his opponent, a snow-white glow was suddenly released from his eyes. A moment later, those eyes turned entirely white without any signs of black color mixed in it.
Bang!
At the same time, his originally colorless Mental Energy suddenly turned into a transparent white flame which was the complete opposite of his sister's black flame.
If Jillian's current Mental Energy was a raging black flame, then Molton's Mental Energy was a calm and tranquil white flame.
But despite being in the complete opposite, those flames were strangely complementing each other as if they were a single entity.
Silver Claw became a little surprised when he saw that scene. But he immediately regained himself when he realized what those flames stood for. "So, the rumors are actually true. Not only did the Potter Clan get the successor of the 'Genuine Blood of the Phoenix', but they also awakened the legendary bloodline of the twin phoenixes."
Realizing that this battle was not going to be easy, Silver Claw prepared himself for the upcoming battle.
...
Cling! Clang!
On the other side of the battlefield, Angela was already having an intense fight against Black Talon.
This guy was quite weaker than Silver Claw since he was only in the 'early phase' of the 'Ethereal Opening Stage'. But his strength was still not a laughing matter.
Angela was very confident with her speed. Even her senior brothers and sisters told her that her speed was at least a top-class talent. They even said that even an expert in the 'middle phase' of the 'Ethereal Opening Stage' was going to have a hard time dealing with her speed.
Due to this, she was able to give Black Talon a very hard time catching her. She was relying on this talent of hers to fight her opponent on an equal footing despite having a lower Martial-Art attainment.
But as the time went by, Angela noticed that her opponent was slowly getting used to her current speed. And if this fight continued to dragged on, she was sure that Black Talon was going to fully adjust with her speed sooner or later.
Understanding her current situation, Angela decided to go all-out to end this battle as soon as possible. After all, she couldn't afford to maintain this speed for a very long time.
Having that in mind, Angela immediately rushed towards the dense forest not far from them, trying to lure Black Talon away from the battlefield.
Naturally, Black Talon was aware of her plan. But he didn't mind that at all since he was very confident about his own strength. He didn't believe that he was going to lose against a petite young girl with a Martial-art attainment lower than him.
Given that, he immediately changed after Angela towards the dense forwards while wearing a huge grin on his face.
But right after he entered the place, he suddenly felt a dangerous feeling coming from his surroundings. And due to that, he suddenly became fully alert and scanned his surroundings very sharply, expecting a sudden ambush.
A moment later, he started knitting his eyebrows when not a single attack came after him. And when he continued moving forward, he suddenly saw Angela standing in the middle of an open space, waiting.
Seeing that, he immediately became a little cautious and stopped a few meters away from Angela. He was aware that his girl was a skilled assassin so it was better to become a little cautious in this kind of situation. After all, he was not sure if there were some hidden traps lying in wait to catch him off-guard.
On the other hand, Angela felt a little relieved in her heart when she saw that her psychological strategy actually was quite effective. And now that she had successfully made her opponent to become a little cautious of their surroundings, it was now to move the second part of the plan.
She took a deep breath to calm herself down before controlling her breathing. After that, she looked at her opponent with a pair of emotionless eyes while bouncing on the ground with light hops.
Black Talon knitted his eyebrows a little while he saw those actions. He was confused at what she was doing.
He was planning to make his move when he saw that there was nothing wrong in their surroundings. But he suddenly froze in place when he heard Angela muttering a bunch of words with a strange tempo. It was as if she was quietly singing a song.
Black Talon raised his eyebrows further due to that. And when he tried to closely observe his opponent, he suddenly noticed that the song clearly reflected Angela's actions. The rhythm of her bounce was perfectly in sync with each 'beat' of her 'song'.
Seeing that, Black Talon's face suddenly became solemn as he finally understood those actions. "This girl, don't tell me she came from that extinct tribe of assassins? If not, then she is most probably related to the most mysterious expert of the Elder's Council, that man called 'Hermit'."
Coming up with this conclusion, Black Talon started taking this girl very seriously. So, he immediately released his Natural Force mixed with Evil Qi while getting ready for a real battle.

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

Dimensional Originator
Adam is having a terrible time. To start the day off he died in a car accident. And that isn't even the most painful thing that happened to him. That would be merging with a strange crystal. After that he ended up stuck in an endless black void. He does eventually get rescued. But quickly realizes his soul has been put in the body of a fallen noble and his fate is to be little more than a breeding slave for the cultivation clan that purchased him. To top it all off his new body had been bedridden for weeks and he can barely get out of bed. Not everything is terrible though. The crystal he merged with is called a dimensional originator. Using life and death energy he can create miniature universes. Given enough energy and time he could even create an entire universe. For a moment Adam thought things were looking up. Too bad the author finds things going horribly wrong far more entertaining. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it as somewhere between PG-13 and R for violence, gore, and nudity.
