Chapter 205: A Small Advice
Charles opened his amber eyes in his room and took out the Books of Secrets and 'Spirit Hex' curse card.
Then, he cast [Cryptic Analysis] skill on the curse card and soon narrowed his eyes.
'What are you doing, lad?' The Holem's Crown couldn't help but ask when it noticed his strange actions.
'I'm trying to get more information about the card to do a divination.' Charles replied with a frown.
On the other hand, the Holem's Crown let out a chuckle and spoke.
'You forgot one thing. This constellation book works based on the user's understanding of Future Time.'
Upon hearing the artifact's words, a look of realization dawn on Charles's face.
'You mean I can do divination without much information about this card?' He asked in surprise.
'No no. You are not thinking in the right way. Why do you want to search for more information about this curse card? It's to find more about the one who creates it, right?' The Holem's Crown asked.
Meanwhile, Charles wore a confused look and nodded.
'You grasped the secrets of 'Future' Time after becoming a Rank-4 Shape-Shifter, not the 'Past' Time, lad. If you want to learn about the origin, you need to look backward. Not the front.' The Holem's Crown said in a serious tone.
At that moment, Charles got dumbfounded for a moment and soon face-palmed.
'Right. So, it's basically impossible to find more clues-.' He abruptly paused for a moment and soon widened his eyes.
'Mr. Runeth, you can find some clues, right?'
'We just now used the 'Past' illusion to trick everyone. You need to wait for the one-month cool down to end. Moreover, it's not an urgent thing, right? Focus on increasing your strength.' The Holem's Crown ended the conversation.
Meanwhile, Charles let out a deep sigh and nodded his head.
Then, he went to the shower, took a long bath, and walked out in a casual dress.
After that, he took the black cane, went downstairs, and noticed that a few well-dressed men in robes and formal dresses sat on the sofa and seemed to be in the middle of questioning his disciples.

Meanwhile, Rhea wore a pensive look and answered with an anxious expression on her face.
While walking on the bifurcated stairs, Charles overheard a few sentences and easily figured out that they were warning Rhea and others for killing the assassins without official permission from Royal Family and Iron Tower!
"This kingdom really needs a large-scale purge." An old man's voice suddenly echoed in the reception hall!
The one who spoke the sentence was not Charles but the Holem's Crown!
It perfectly mimicked his old voice and spoke out loud, causing the whole group of nobles and mages to stiffen up!
Charles slowly walked down on the red-carpeted steps and soon reached the reception hall.
He then glanced at the mages and Nobles and spoke in a cold tone.
"If I see someone bullying my disciples again, I will not hesitate to kill all the Ruler Caste Members in this city. Got it?"
The mages and Nobles' faces went pale as a white sheet!
In truth, they came here to probe if they could get some clues about the mastermind behind the assassination.
But when they noticed that Rhea and the other kids were in charge of official matters, they began to show their arrogant attitude and even tried to blame Rhea and others!
Unfortunately, they stepped not on a dog's tail but a dragon's tail!
"If you are that much scared of me, why you guys even bother coming here and started showing your arrogance? Scram, idiots."
Without minding their terrified looks, he spoke coldly, went near the empty sofa, and sat on it.
At that moment, the Nobles and Mages already stood up from their seats and started backing away.
Meanwhile, Charles's gaze swept past Rhea's sofa and soon landed on Jessie, Noel, and Titus, who stood behind her.
A frown appeared on his face.
"Why are you guys standing behind her like servants? Even if she becomes a Queen, you must never become her subordinate. The same goes for you, lass. You should never look at them as your subordinates. All of you are my disciples and should give equal respect to each other. If you do something like this, it's like shaming my dignity." He spoke in a cold tone.

Meanwhile, Rhea and others went stiff for a moment and soon nodded their heads.
"Good." Charles nodded his head, turned his gaze towards Jessie, and signaled her to come near.
'Hmm? Her eye color has changed. Is it due to the Blood Manipulation Class? Will it push her to walk on the path of evil?' He felt worried a little.
He had long faced the temptation of wickedness and knew it might one day take root in her heart!
'One's inner emotions are really hard to predict and these emotions seemed to have some connection with some of these mysterious magic classes. She already tasted the first blood... I hope she won't walk on the same path as my past self.'
On the other hand, Jessie wore a confused look and soon appeared in front of him.
"How many Sunrise potions did you buy during these past six months?" He asked a strange question.
From his understanding of Jessie, he knew that she must have brought all kinds of low-level potions for four of them.
As he had expected, she took out a total of 34 potion vials with different colors from her void pouch and placed them on the nearby empty sofa.
'All of them are Sunrise potions... Did she buy them from the auction in a bulk?' He got surprised a little.
Unlike the Midday potions, although Dawn potions and Sunrise potions were expensive, it wasn't hard to buy.
Rank-2 and Rank-3 Alchemists were the ones who brew these potions, and the effect could only work on Rank-2. So, most noble families buy them in bulk amounts.
'Hmm, her body strength hasn't reached Expert Level... But I don't think it will be a problem for her now. Next is her 'Wisdom' power... Wait... 17 points? How did she increase it in a short amount of time? Did the information learning personal mission really helping her?' He couldn't help but praise her diligence.
'Her new Blood Manipulation Class also seems to have somehow increased her wisdom.'
Charles nodded his head in understanding and ordered.
"Drink the soul-related Sunrise Potions."
"Teacher?" A startled expression appeared on Jessie's face.
"Drink it." He said again.
Nodding her head, Jessie picked up a purple bottle from the empty sofa and started drinking it.
At that moment, Charles used [Cryptic Analysis] and noticed the change in her status.
'17.5 ... 18... 18.2... 18.6!'
As she gulped the whole potion, Jessie closed her scarlet eyes and frowned.
"I see a large space in my head, Teacher-" She paused for a moment and soon opened her eyes wide.
"I can sense my other consciousness... It's somewhere in the dark space!" A hint of excitement appeared on her face.
On the other hand, Charles nodded his head in understanding and ordered.
"Drink other potions too."
Unlike before, Jessie didn't show a confused look, took out another vial, and drank it.
By the time she drank the fourth potion, Charles had noticed that she already reached a bottleneck!
The wisdom power stopped rising after reaching 19.9 points!
He hurriedly stopped her, took out two crescent-shaped earrings from his spatial ring, and gave it to her.
"Whenever you feel an abnormal thirst for blood, go to Moon Church and pray for God Anos's help. These earrings are actually ritual materials for contacting the Moon God. I heard that he owns the domain of 'Blood' and might show his grace upon you." He suddenly paused for a moment and soon added.
"But if you didn't receive his help, come and look for me."
"Yes, Teacher." A reverence look appeared on Jessie's face.
Meanwhile, Charles nodded his head and turned his gaze towards Titus.

Dolores is a lucky girl with a high-level avatar in a very popular game. She did not level it up; she got it through some fortunate circumstances. She is not interested in fighting and levelling; all she wants is to have some fun and follow her own fantasies. If only there would not be all those idiots who intend to kill her, capture her, or simply use her. And those flaws in the game! Wait, what? Those pesky game characters now appear in the real world? And they can do magic? How did this happen? Adding to her troubles, her crush does not even look at her. As Dolores tries only to survive and hide between 'normal' people, she encounters stranger and stranger things that force her hand and, in the end, she has the answers to a lot of questions. It is a slow-developing story. I had a lot of fun writing it and hope to share it with you, dear reader if you also enjoy it. On the other hand, putting it in an acceptable form requires much work and energy. I intend to bring it to its end and not let it unfinished. I hate it when I encounter unfinished stories, so I understand the feeling. This is not a classical isekai story. There is travel between the two worlds, and the game world seems to be so very real... well, this is one plot of the story. This is not an MMORP game story. Part of the action happens inside a game world, but it is treated as a real world. Updates on a weekly basis, at least Monday and Friday, with additional bonus chapters as time and energy allow. Unfortunately, this is not enough for people with a low tolerance for warped sentences and... they may want to skip the story :( Well, you have been warned :) I appreciate it when a reader points out a sentence that needs rework. That may spare a follow-up reader some pain and helps me understand where my English grammar problems are. * We thought we made the best game in Earth's history We thought we made the best interfaces ever seen We thought we made it - lifelike But it far exceeded our expectations. The Event Master
It is a reincarnation/transmigration story where the MC can only do magic that is socially condemned, but is protected somewhat by his powerful political station. For as long as he can keep it, anyway. With a little luck and some modern world thinking, perhaps he'll come up with something to change people's minds. Not forcefully though, that would be unethical. ** The MC is not a fighter. He's a gamer. He loves rpgs, movies, modern music, and telling stories. I intend to post at least once a week in the range of 2k words. If work eases up I'll increase the amount again. ((Work has instead intensified to the point where I'm struggling to get a chapter every two weeks. I'll pick it back up properly when I can, but for now it is on temporary hiatus while I still might post every once and awhile. This winter, I plan to go back to regular posts until the story finishes.))
