Murim Recurve Chapter 295

Eventually, all the Elemental Clan Heads welcomed the group, leading them into the Burkurel Ju Clan as they showed them to the various places, introducing them to one another. Immediately, before the Erki vanished, five groups of Harmonisers, eight per each were split and sent off to the five Settlements under the Burkurel Ju Clan.
At present, a team of two Harmonisers from the Royal Clan were managing each Settlement, keeping things in order while the ruling party of the Settlements was absent. Once the group arrived there, they would be taught everything of necessity by the Royal Clan Harmonisers for a month before they would leave.
After that, they would visit once every month and teach them things.
In the Burkurel Ju Clan, the City Lord explained to the man who took up the mantle of being the Burkurel Ju Clan's Head, explaining how an Elemental Clan was structured, the things they have to keep note of, the taxes they have to collect, the things to take notice in the Clan, the tax they have to pay to the city, etc.
Finally, he spoke, "We have been using the Ju Clan's slot of the Portal to Earth for the past month. Once you have stabilised yourselves, we will hand it over to you."
"Thank you," The Ju Clan Head cupped his fist in response, accompanying the Clan Head as they roamed through the entire Ju Clan's estate. It was already morning by the time they were done, showing the sheer scale of the place.
Almost all the Harmonisers were dead tired by this point. As for the Ju Clan Head, his head spun as he felt difficulty in wrapping his head around the vast property he had to manage. All he had worried about in his life was staying alive and managing his finances enough to keep his family alive.

And now, his responsibility was expanded beyond proportions. At the start, he was happy that all his family members had been initiated into Harmonisers and was overjoyed when his children turned out to have significant talents. But now, he started to worry.
Noticing his worry, the City Lord patted his shoulder, "I know it must be difficult for you to suddenly obtain so much wealth and power. But, just hang in there, and don't let it get to your head. As long as you don't do anything beyond what the Imperial Laws state, you will do well."
"City Lord, I'll be honest with you." He sighed and scratched his head, "I have no idea if I would be able to protect this wealth."
He didn't state it explicitly but the City Lord understood. Smiling, he said, "You don't have to worry about that. At present, we treat this as an initial period where you all will adjust to your new livelihoods and gather your bearings. And, only after you have settled will the Elemental Clans start their politics against your Ju Clan. And when they do, they will inform you with a letter first. I have ordered them to stay put until them."
He smiled, "So, until then, for any problem you face, you can approach us and understand your situation better. After all, from today onwards, the Burkurel Ju Clan is yours to manage. The actual ones in power are still the Elders of your Clan, and they would guide you through everything. Just be open to any suggestions they give and you'll fare well enough."
"My Burkurel Ju Clan…" The Burkurel Ju Clan head muttered before he remembered something, sighing as he spoke, "Right, from today onwards, my name is Burkurel Ju'Rhi."
"Indeed, as you say." The City Lord cupped his fists and turned around, "Till next time."

"Thank you for your help," Ju'Rhi bowed. Seeing him, the rest of his Clansmen bowed as he spoke, "We were confused and afraid. But no matter what, we express our gratitude for extending a welcoming hand. I, Burkurel Ju'Rhi would do my absolute best to protect Burkurel City as the Burkurel Ju Clan."
"Once you have settled, we'll pay a visit sometime around next month." All the Elemental Clan Heads spoke in unison before everyone began to leave, boarding their carriages to head back to their respective Clans.
As Ju'Rhi looked at their figures, he couldn't help but mutter, "All of them are really…cool and dignified."
"You too will become like them one day," The Burkurel Ju Clan's head Elder appeared beside him, startling him for a moment.
Ju'Rhi made a deep bow, "I hope I can live up to your expectations."
"Just don't do anything that can get yourself killed." The head Elder sighed, "That's my only expectation. As for the rest, I'll train you plenty enough that you can call yourself the Burkurel Ju Clan Head without feeling ashamed in front of others."
…
Seated in the carriage, Re'Kha felt tired, wishing to sleep. Her siblings were no better either. During the entire night, they were bugged by a lot of the Ju Clansmen. It was because each of them had peerless appearances, attracting the attention of a lot.
As they had to keep up appearances without causing the other party to feel insulted, it exhausted them greatly. Normally, it wouldn't have been too troubling as they could still sleep later. But now, it was already time for them to head to their missions.
"I want to sleep." Re'Gra fanned himself, behaving like he was about to die from overworking. He was an inherently lazy person, so having stayed awake overnight already taxed him too much. And now that he had to head out to complete a mission, he was burdened and exhausted by the work pressure.
"We have nearby locations. So, we can take turns to rest once we get there." Re'Kha said.
"Why can't we rest during our journey…" Re'Gra had just begun to speak when he remembered their destination, frowning, "There are no roads, so the carriage cannot even head there. We would even have to leave the horses after a certain part of the journey. Argh, dammit, I don't want to leave."
He then hugged the thigh of Re'Kha dramatically, "Oh my gracious mother lord, you already have seven, please take one more and save this pitiful soul."

Recovery: Ignis
My Name is Keiren. Keiren Ignis. At least that was what IT told me. Now all I have to do is figure out everything else. No simple task when you're an amnesiac. Honestly, why do I know these words and what they mean, but I have no idea who or even what I am. Except for what IT told me. IT is whatever is causing the wierd pop-up screens that appear in my vision when I think about certain things. Seems like I'm going to have to play by ITs rules until I get a better understanding of everything else. This is my first attempt at writing anything. To be honest I'm not 100% sure as to what direction this will take. GLHF It became sci-fi. There will probably be a romantic subplot at some point. There will be some implied sexual content, but nothing more explicit than kissing will be written. Will try to release at least one chapter a week, but there could be none, or possibly 3 or 4.

You Only Smol Twice: A Smol Detective Story
This is a fanfic set in the universe of They Are Smol, a delightful series of stories by TinyPrancingHorse which you should totally go and read. It’s the third in my own series about a human investigator in a galaxy full of aliens who are much bigger and stronger than any human. Obviously, there are plenty of spoilers for the previous two stories in here so consider yourself warned. After many successful investigations, Oscar Williams has his loyalty to his adopted alien family sorely tested. What appears to be a simple theft turns out to be anything but, and to capture the perpetrators Oscar might just have to betray his own species… Formal Disclaimer: I do not take credit for the original setting, this story is set in an alternate version of the 'They are Smol' universe, written by the one, the only TinyPrancingHorse TPH takes many forms and is known by many names. He is like Nyarlathotep, only smaller and cuter and more prancey. TPH also has a website should you require more Smol Shenanigans in your life. Which you do, so get over there and read it. A Forgotten Hero
(author: This is gonna be a long synopsis I apologise. This should be a prolouge but as you will see I have a seperate prolouge, please forgive me. This fiction as a warning beforehand is as basic as it comes, prettymuch following all story conventions of both the mecha and school life genres. I am mostly writing this to figure out my writing style before I begin something truly creative and uique. I dont wanna ruin something I worked hard on by being illiterate. Also illustrations are at a minimum because all I have access to is MS paint.) In the year 2028 humanity (accidentally) created the means to travel great distances through space in a short period of time. This has led humanity down the road of great technological advancement and also led to the spread of humanity across their home system and just begiining first steps upon other solar systems planets. In the year 2033 the human colonies in space broke from the chains of their old countries creating hyper advanced societies disregarding nationality and any other defining factor. Two space societies formed the Solar Empire a monarchic society with its capitol on the moon Titan which controeld the entire human home system aside from Earth which still remained divided into seperate contries. The other was the Extra-solar Leauge. A mysterious society outside of easy contact range with any other humans besides themselves. To help with construction and other work outside of sealed and breatheable atmospheres of their cities and ships the Solar Empire and Extra-Solar Leauge created what became known as Advanced Movement Shells(AMS). These machines are best described as huge exoskeletons or "mechs", and they aided greatly in getting things done by increasing strength, durability, and the amount of tools able to be used. They also aided in quelling rebellions among extremist groups forming in these new societies. Finally in the year 2050 the Solar Empire having divinated their emperor, and now beliving themselves to be their religions chosen people, the Solar Empire declared a holy war of conquest against all the nations of Earth in order to conquer it under the idea that all humanity was required to bend to their divine emperors rule. The first month of the war whent badly for earth as the divided nations fell one by one due to the Empires superior weaponry among other technologies which made their forces nearly invincible. The AMS were used to great effect due to their almost "magical" level of technological advancement. Some nations able to put up some kind of defense created their own versions of these technological terrors. From there the war became a brutal stalemate and suddenly was won by the forces of earth. Why this is still hasn't come to the light of the common man, but one thing is for certain it took a heroic effort from one, or many people to win it for humanity...
