Chapter 2432 How Much of the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, Did You Remember?
When the black figure demonstrated the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, for the 31st time, Zhang Yi finally managed to capture the movements of the First Green Lotus Sword.
‘Great, I can finally see it clearly!’ Zhang Yi was despairing just a moment ago. However, he became excited when he discovered he was finally able to track the movements of the first sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. His eyes that had turned dull brightened immediately.
Zhang Yi was aware that if he wanted to memorize the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Sword, he would need to be able to track the movements of all thirteen swords. He thought to himself, ‘I don’t expect to remember all thirteen swords of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords within three days and three nights, I only hope that I’ll be able to memorize the first six or seven swords!’
Zhang Yi was not too ambitious, and he was realistic. He would be content if he could memorize and comprehend the sixth sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. After all, the Fifth Green Lotus Sword was already comparable to an ordinary Divine Ability in the Devata Realms. If he managed to master the Sixth or Seventh Green Lotus Sword, he would already be extremely strong!
Although Zhang Yi had managed to fully capture the movements of the First Green Lotus Sword after fifteen minutes, he knew that the subsequent Green Lotus Swords’ movements would only become progressively faster. He would definitely require more time just to capture all the movements of the second sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, also known as Second Green Lotus Sword.
Indeed. It took Zhang Yi roughly two hours before he managed to memorize the movements of the second sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords.
…
Meanwhile, Han Xue Nai took almost the same time as Zhang Yi to finish memorizing the movements of the First Green Lotus Sword.
As for Liu Xia, she took half an hour more to memorize the movements of the First Green Lotus Sword.
…
Meanwhile, on Duan Ling Tian’s side.
‘I finally managed to memorize the Tenth Green Lotus Sword!’ Duan Ling Tian only had three more swords to memorize!
It was fortunate that Zhang Yi, Han Xue Nai, and Liu Xia were unaware of Duan Ling Tian’s progress. Otherwise, they would definitely throw up blood. Three of them had worked so hard just to catch a glimpse of the First and Second Green Lotus Sword’s movements and memorize them, but Duan Ling Tian had already memorized the Tenth Green Lotus Sword.

This also meant Duan Ling Tian only needed to memorize the movements of three more swords before he completely memorized the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. At that time, he would be able to start comprehending and mastering this Divine Ability. Based on his progress, he would definitely be able to completely memorize the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords before time ran out.
Duan Ling Tian knew very well why he was able to memorize the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. ‘It’s all thanks to the Sword Dao Mental Cultivation Method, the Sovereign Heart Sword, that Senior Feng Qing Yang left behind. Otherwise, it would’ve been impossible for me to memorize the first ten swords of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords so quickly!’
Duan Ling Tian thought to himself confidently, ‘Based on my progress, it would probably take roughly half a day before I completely memorize the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords!’
Alas, things would not always go as planned in life…
Half a day had already passed and Duan Ling Tian had barely managed to memorize the Twelfth Green Lotus Sword.
‘It seems like I’ve overestimated myself. The movements of the last sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords are incredibly fast.’ When Duan Ling Tian discovered this, he no longer dared to be complacent and refocused his effort into memorizing the Thirteenth Green Lotus Sword.
At this time, another half a day had passed…
‘A little bit more… Just a little more and I’ll be able to completely memorize the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords!’
In the end, Duan Ling Tian spent another half a day before he managed to completely memorize the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. Now that he memorized it, even if the stone tablet disappeared, he would still be able to comprehend and master the Divine Ability.
“Finally…” Duan Ling Tian heaved a sigh of relief as he opened his eyes and removed his hand from the stone tablet. Naturally, the black figure that was still demonstrating the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords in his mind had disappeared without a trace as well.
Duan Ling Tian looked around and saw that Han Xue Nai, Zhang Yi, and Liu Xia were all frowning. It was obvious they were having a difficult time memorizing the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. He thought to himself, ‘There’s one and a half more days left. I hope they’ll be able to memorize as much as they can!’ He knew how difficult it was to track and memorize the movements of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords after all. It was not that he looked down on Han Xue Nai and the others, but he truly felt they would not be able to completely memorize the Thirteen Green Lotus Sword. He speculated inwardly that they would not even be able to memorize ten of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords before they ran out of time. After all, each sword would get progressively faster.

“There’s nothing I can do to help them with this…” Duan Ling Tian murmured to himself before he sat at the side and began to comprehend the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, that he had memorized.
…
A day and a half flew by in a blink of an eye, and the stone tablet under Han Xue Nai, Zhang Yi, and Liu Xia’s hands disappeared into thin air accompanied by a soft sound.
At this time, the scenery changed again, and they found themselves in a lavish hall.
“Hm?” At this time, Duan Ling Tian who had been comprehending the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords opened his eyes in surprise. ‘One and a half days have passed? I managed to master the first sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords during this time. Moreover, I’m halfway through mastering the second sword of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. I’m certain I’ll be able to completely master the Second Green Lotus Sword if I were given another two days!’ He was delighted when he thought about this.
After a while, Duan Ling Tian turned to look at Han Xue Nai, Zhang Yi, and Liu Xia who seemed to have just regained their senses. He asked, “How’s everyone feeling? What do you think of the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords? How many swords did you manage to remember?”
“Brother Ling Tian, I only managed to remember four swords out of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords…” Han Xue Nai smiled bitterly. “It seems like I’m not suited for the Sword Dao and have no fate with the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords.”
Although the first four swords of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords were powerful, they were only comparable to the top Divine Abilities in mundane realms.
Similar to the Divine Abilities in mundane realms, although Duan Ling Tian had completely memorized the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, he could not share it with anyone else.
Duan Ling Tian looked at Zhang Yi and Liu Xia and asked, “How about both of you?”
“I only memorized until the Third Green Lotus Sword…” Liu Xia said as she forced a smile on her face, feeling helpless. Although she had mastered the first three swords of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, it was weaker than the offensive Divine Ability from the mundane realm that she had comprehended. For this reason, she did not plan to comprehend the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords.
“I managed to memorize the first six swords of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords. I’m confident I would have been able to memorize the seventh sword if I had two more hours…” Zhang Yi sighed even though he was satisfied with the result. He knew that the Sixth Green Lotus Sword was comparable or even greater than ordinary Divine Abilities in the Devata Realms.
When Duan Ling Tian heard Han Xue Nai and Liu Xia’s words, he did not have high expectations for Zhang Yi. Therefore, he was pleasantly surprised when he heard Zhang Yi’s words. “That’s not bad!” This proved that Zhang Yi was gifted in the Sword Dao.
“The Sixth Green Lotus Sword?!” Han Xue Nai and Liu Xia were shocked when they heard Zhang Yi’s words. They did not expect the gap between them to be so wide.
Liu Xia looked at Zhang Yi and said, “Congratulations, Zhang Yi… If you’re able to successfully comprehend and master the first five swords of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, when you become an Eminent Celestial, coupled with the Celestial Sword, you’ll be as strong as a Four Tribulation Bodiless Celestial! Combined with the various techniques from the Celestial Masters Sect, your strength should be comparable to a Five Tribulation Bodiless Celestial!” Her eyes were filled with envy and admiration when she spoke.
“It’s pure luck. I’m just lucky,” Zhang Yi replied humbly.
At this moment, Han Xue Nai asked Duan Ling Tian, “Brother Ling Tian, how much of the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords did you memorize?”
Zhang Yi and Liu Xia instantly shifted their attention to Duan Ling Tian as their eyes shined with curiosity.
How much of the Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords, did Duan Ling Tian memorize?

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
