After the humans discussed among themselves, many of their expressions changed for the better since they were certain Duan Ling Tian was just joking.

However, there was a small minority of humans who did not think Duan Ling Tian was joking. However, they felt he was too naive. After all, there was no need to disclose this to the Devil Clans. In their opinion, he could hide the fact that his wife had left. At least that would be able to keep the Devil Clans in check. They could not understand him at all. Even then, they did not dare to voice out their opinions. After all, Duan Ling Tian had no obligation to protect the humans. He was more than capable of protecting himself even if he could not defeat the Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestial. Even if the Devil Clans stayed here, it would not affect him since he would be ascending to a Devata Realm soon.

The old man’s expression changed drastically when he heard this. He thought Duan Ling Tian was foolishly arrogant!

When Wu Ji, the Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestial from the Devil Clans, heard Duan Ling Tian’s words, his expression darkened. He asked, “Did you say I’m not worthy of you using your Celestial Supreme Treasure?” He thought he had heard wrongly.

Duan Ling Tian asked nonchalantly, “What? Can a Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestial go deaf due to his age?”

A myriad of expressions flitted across the old man’s face. He could not hold back his anger and said, “Good! Very good! Since you’re so arrogant, I’d like to see how strong you are without your Celestial Supreme Treasure!”

The old man stomped his feet, and a huge void crack instantly appeared. It looked extremely terrifying.

The old man shot forward like a cannonball toward Duan Ling Tian. Explosions rang in the air, and the void distorted before it cracked in his wake. It was a spine-chilling sight.

Faced with the old man’s full-force attack, Duan Ling Tian said in a teasing tone, “Is that all you got?” Then, he continued in an indifferent voice, “Your strength is merely equivalent to the dragon clan’s patriarch… It seems like I have overestimated you!”

“Shameless boasting!” The old man cried out coldly. His voice made people feel as though they were in an ice cave.

“Well, you’ll find out soon enough!” Duan Ling Tian’s tone was flat as always, but as he spoke, he started moving.

Duan Ling Tian lifted his hand and bent it slightly before he struck at the old man like a dragon.

A bright white light shot out of Duan Ling Tian’s palms. They were sword rays! Thousands upon thousands of sword rays shot out before they eventually formed an impressive Sword Formations.

As soon as the Formation was completely formed, it shot out at lightning speed, leaving afterimages in its wake. This was part of the offensive Divine Ability, the Thirteen Green Lotus Swords.

Bright light shone dazzlingly from the Sword Formation and an even stronger energy burst forth.

“H-how’s this possible?!” The old man cried out. He could clearly sense the terrifying aura from the Sword Formation. It was definitely stronger than a Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestial! Only Golden Celestials from the Devata Realms were able to exert such force!

The old man’s expression changed drastically before his body expanded like a balloon and exploded into a bloody mess. One could faintly see bits of golden sparks shimmering in the air.

Then, Duan Ling Tian’s Sword Formation continued on its trajectory, dispelling the old man’s attack and destroying the bloody mess that was the old man!
