MMORPG: I Can See Hidden Information Chapter 166

Fike and Eddie followed Xiao Zhao to a building similar to a tower.
On the eaves of its entrance hung an eye-catching plaque, with three big words inscribed on it: East Immortal Residence.
These were ancient eastern characters. Fike would not have understood their meaning if not for the hidden information's hint.
"East Immortal Residence?
"It looks like this is where we'll be staying!"
Fike muttered unconsciously.
Overhearing this, Xiao Zhao smiled as she said to Fike.
"Fike, I didn't expect you to be so knowledgeable! You can actually read our ancient eastern characters!"
Fike smiled awkwardly.
"I only know a little!"
Eddie Moss looked at Fike.
"I have seen some ancient eastern characters in books, but to be able to blurt them out like Fike, you must be able to understand the characters and even analyze them accordingly. Fike, I think you must have done your homework!"
Fike could only continue to smile awkwardly as Eddie joined in the praise.
"Alright, alright, let's go in now!"
Fike hurriedly said.
Following Xiao Zhao's lead, Fike and Eddie made their way into the East Immortal Residence.
The interior of the housing seemed similar to what Fike had seen in the Heavenly Palace. It could even be said that it was exactly the same.
In the hall on the first floor, an eye-catching Golden Buddha was situated in the center, with stairs on both sides of it.
Xiao Zhao was already halfway up the stairs as Fike and Eddie were still immersed in admiring the statue of the Golden Buddha.
"You two, follow me quick! What's so good about the Golden Buddha? If you want to see it, you can admire it later to your heart's content!"
After hearing her words, the two finally recovered from their daze as they stuttered.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"
Xiao Zhao walked up to the third floor with Fike and Eddie following closely behind her.
Finally, she came to a stop before a door.
Xiao Zhao's expression suddenly became a little serious as she turned around to Fike and Eddie.
"...why did the great elder arrange this room for you?"
Seeing that her expression had become a little strange, Fike asked.
"Xiao Zhao, is there a problem?"
Xiao Zhao snapped out of her daze and looked at Fike.
"Actually, it's nothing. You just have to be quiet at night. There's a monster living next door to your room!"
"Monster?"
Fike and Eddie repeated in unison.
After hearing their loud tone, Xiao Zhao hurriedly made a gesture for them to stay silent.
"Shh! Keep your voice down! Don't disturb that monster's cultivation!"
However, before she could even finish speaking, a booming voice resounded.
"Second junior sister, why are you slandering me in front of the two new disciples for no reason?"
After hearing this, Xiao Zhao's face immediately became tense.
At this moment, the door of the room next door opened.
A handsome man with cyan hair walked out.
Looking at the man's face, Fike unconsciously stuttered.
"Atlas? Why are you here?"
The man looked confusedly at Fike's shocked expression.
"Junior brother, I'm not some Atlas. I'm afraid you've mistaken me for someone else!"
Xiao Zhao hurriedly explained to Fike after hearing his foolish words.
"What Atlas? This is our East Immortal Sect's eldest senior brother, Gu Wuya. He's famous for both his bad temper and great strength."
"Gu Wuya?"
Fike blurted out in surprise.
Gu Wuya looked at Fike with steely eyes as he continued.
"Is there a problem?"
"No, of course not!"

Fike hurriedly replied.
At this moment, Fike's mind was scrambling with thoughts.
'I didn't expect to meet the main god of the Eastern world, the emotion-sealing god, Gu Wuya, so early. From the looks of it, he's probably not far from becoming a god now, either!"
Without giving him any time to think further, Gu Wuya addressed Fike.
"Junior brother, your body seems to be emitting an aura similar to mine!
"Your strength doesn't seem weak at all!"
Hearing this, Fike smiled as he thought to himself.
'How could my aura be any different from Gu Wuya's? My cultivation techniques were all learned from you, so of course they're the same!'
He responded with a smile.
"Eldest senior brother, it's actually nothing! My strength is only average! I guess yours is average as well! Haha!"
Gu Wuya gazed at Fike, who had expressed a simple and honest opinion, before continuing.
"We'll know exactly how we are once we go to the martial arts practice field!"
Seeing that Gu Wuya had made a challenge, and was going to bring Fike to the martial arts practice field, Xiao Zhao hurriedly tried to stop him.
"Eldest senior brother! Eldest senior brother! The two of them have just arrived at the East Immortal Sect, and the journey here was long and tiring. They haven't even had a good rest yet. Why don't the two of you fight another day?"
Gu Wuya gave her a cold look in response.
"Why don't we just ask this junior brother what he thinks?"
Xiao Zhao shot Fike a look.
Truthfully, Fike actually really wanted to gage Gu Wuya's current strength, but when he met Xiao Zhao's gaze, he had second thoughts.
After thinking for a moment, he looked back at Gu Wuya.
"Eldest senior brother, I think we should fight another day! I'm really too tired today!"
Hearing this, Gu Wuya couldn't continue to insist, so he rearranged his plans instead.
"Then I'll see you tomorrow at the martial arts practice field!"
After this, he shifted his glance to Eddie Moss.
"Junior brother, isn't your killing intent too heavy? It seems that you really want to fight with me. Am I right?"
Eddie Moss replied with a smile.
"If eldest senior brother is willing, I would like to have a duel with you! I hope I can learn some pointers!"
Gu Wuya laughed.
"Someone who dares to take the initiative to challenge me hasn't appeared in a long time. You sure have courage! Since you want a duel with me, then I'll grant you your wish!"
As he spoke, Gu Wuya prepared to bring Eddie to the martial arts practice field.
Fike and Xiao Zhao exchanged speechless looks.
They could only hurriedly put down the things in their hands and follow the two to the training ground.
Gu Wuya and Eddie walked quickly, with Fike and Xiao Zhao struggling to trail behind.
Along the way, Xiao Zhao was telling Fike about how terrifying this eldest senior brother was.
"Fike, do you know? When senior brother entered the sect, he mastered every cultivation technique our East Immortal Sect had to offer within two years.
"Now, he has already reached the realm of creating his own cultivation techniques. Moreover, the sword technique he created could be said to be one of the best throughout the entire East Immortal Sect."
"Sword technique?"
Fike repeated.
"That's right, a sword technique. I think it's called... What was it?"
"The 32 Swords Slash!"

The Elemental Arena
*A Rational-Adjacent litRPG Survival Series.* The time for the trials has come, pitting the mortal species of the galaxy against one another. By completing challenges, clearing dungeons, and defeating rival species, the players may forge themselves stronger and smarter. But only one species will be declared the winner. Earth has finally qualified... ...and participation is mandatory. A twenty-nine year old data entry clerk works together with a group of internationally diverse players to survive. Learning synergistic skills and using teamwork, can humanity achieve an upset? If they don't, their lives are forfeit. Author's note: Chapters will be anywhere from 6k to 10k in words, varying based on the plot beats instead of specific word counts. Realistic actions and teamwork will be important aspects of my story. I'm trying something a little different in writing a realism focused litRPG, hoping to capture the essence of how real people would react to their situation. People are complex and don't always get along. I don't recommend starting the series expecting wish fulfillment tropes just because it's tagged litRPG. It's a survival story with the game settings on Hell difficulty. The plot hasn't gotten there yet, but in the future of the series I want to recreate my nostalgia of forty person raids on Ragnaros, but with the high stakes of boss battles in Sword Art Online. I also love puzzle rooms so expect one of those each book. Warnings: mild PG-rated language, graphic violence and gore, and graphic medical content.
