The sky creature smiled at Fike and said, "Your friend has completed the inheritance of the sea creature, but because of the uniqueness of the sea creature, he seems to have some changes."
"Changes?" Fike asked in puzzlement.
The sky creature nodded and continued, "The sea creature originally did not belong to our world."
"Why?" Fike continued to ask.
"The sea creature was originally an emissary of the sea in the real world. However, the emissary of the sea continuously controlled the creatures in the Eastern Sea to attack humans and commit evil."
"Before the world deity ascended to the Eastern Sea, he sealed the emissary of the sea here forever."
"Because the ocean emissary was so powerful, even though he came to our world, he naturally became one of the three most powerful creatures here."
"The ocean creatures continuously lured the humans here and plundered the souls of countless innocent humans."
Fike listened to the explanation of the creature in the sky seriously.
He had never thought that the sea creature that Eddie Moss had inherited would be such a terrifying character.
At that moment, the creature in the sky continued to speak.
"Your friend can inherit the power of the sea creature, and it is also a good thing for us to completely eliminate the sea creature."
Fike immediately understood the meaning of the creature in the sky when he heard this.
So he said, "I understand, Sky Creature. Since Eddie is fine, then I'm relieved."
Fick thought for a moment and continued, "Sky Creature, can we humans only inherit your power once?"
The sky creature heard this and said without hesitation, "Actually that's not the case. The power that humans can accept is only a little bit compared to our entire power, and our power is constantly replenishing. So theoretically, our power inheritors can be endless, but..."

"But?" Fike asked in puzzlement.
"But some humans have the power of God in their bodies. The power of us living beings is less than one-thousandth of the power of God, so there will be a phenomenon where the power of living beings is completely inherited."
"Has there really been a human who has the power of God?" Fike continued to ask.
The sky creature nodded and said, "There was once a young man with extraordinary talent who cultivated on his own. He was actually able to cultivate the power of God in his body by himself."
"After he came here, he received the favor of the earth creature and completely inherited the power of the earth creature."
"After that, the earth creatures in our world completely disappeared and became a part of the power in that young man's body."
When Fick heard this, he understood who the sky creature was talking about.
"Sky Creature, you should be talking about Gu Wuya, right?" Fike said.
After the sky creature heard this, it said, "I don't know that youth's name, but I know that you seem to have the same aura as him."
When Fike heard this, he instantly understood that the person the sky creature was talking about was Gu Wuya.
Seeing that Fick's doubts seemed to have been dispelled, the sky creature said, "Young man, are you willing to inherit my power?"
Fick nodded and replied, "Of course I'm willing!"
"All right!" The sky creature said loudly. "Since that's the case, then follow me!"
The sky creature flew into the sky, while Fike followed closely behind.
At this moment, an intense light filled Fick's body.
Fick felt an infinite amount of power entering his body.
And this feeling was completely different from the primal energy he had previously cultivated.

There wasn't the slightest bit of pain.
He could only feel waves of warm current entering his body.
"What a magical feeling!" Fike said.
At this moment, the sky creature looked at Fike and said, "Young man, I can feel the power of a world deity in your body. It seems that you can completely inherit my power!"
Fike nodded and continued, "Sky Creature, will you disappear?"
Hearing this, the sky creature replied, "I won't disappear. I will only become a part of your power, forever existing in your body!"
As soon as the sky creature finished speaking, a golden light entered Fike's body once again.
Golden patterns appeared on Fike's skin.
At this moment, rainbow-like colors appeared in the sky.
The sky creature became more and more transparent. Fick opened his eyes and looked at the sky creature that was gradually becoming transparent.
"Sky Creature, are you going to disappear?"
The creature in the sky said to Fike with a smile, "Yes, but I will become a part of your body and will always be with you."
After the sky creature finished speaking, her beautiful figure turned into a rainbow in the sky and disappeared from Fike's sight.
All the light in the sky entered Fike's body.
Finally, after the last ray of light had entered Fick's body, Fike had completed the inheritance of the creatures in the sky.
Then he returned to the land.
He felt a powerful force emerging from his body.
And that force was the necessary requirement for practicing the immortal spell, the surge of vital energy.
This vital energy continued to flow in Fike's body. He felt a different power from before.
This power was similar to the time when he used the magic in Miracle Forest.
At this moment, Fike didn't have much time left, so he decided to return to the real world now.
So, Fike used the method he used to enter this place once again. He sat down in a cross-legged position and concentrated his energy.
When Fike opened his eyes again, he was already in the room of the East Immortal residence.
Seeing that Fike had woken up, Gu Wuya asked, "Fike, how is it?"
Fick replied when he heard Gu Wuya asking him, "I have inherited all the power of the sky creatures. How is Eddie Moss doing now?"
Hearing Fike's words, Gu Wuya pointed to his back, indicating Fick to look toward that direction.
At that moment, Eddie Moss was standing in the distance without saying a word.
Having seen that Eddie Moss was safe and sound, Fike took the initiative to walk forward and said.
"Are you okay, Eddie Moss?"
Eddie Moss did not turn around, but only replied indifferently, "I'm fine."
Seeing that Eddie Moss still retained his consciousness, Fick relaxed and said, "That's great! I thought you wouldn't be able to get out!"
Hearing Fike's words, Eddie Moss suddenly looked at him and said, "You're a man, so why are you this fussy?"

Fates Parallel is my first serious attempt at writing a story, and a personal love letter to Eastern fantasy and xianxia stories. It's heavily inspired by East Asian culture, folklore, and mythology, with what is likely going to be a decidedly Western artistic license. I try to write every day, with a goal of about 45,000 words per month (~1500 per day). Chapter lengths are around 3000 words on average, releasing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Cover art drawn by the incredibly talented Tsuu (TsurotArtistry).

After skipping class to gamble yet again, he sees something on the way to the club. After looking closer he finds a small coin on the ground and as soon as he picks it up he is transported to another world. -Issekai Mockery is exactly as the title suggests, a satire fiction novel making fun of the Issekai genre in subtle and not so subtle ways with the sole purpose of putting a smile on the readers' faces, the novel will feature a lot of Issekai and mmorpg jokes. Don't forget to comment and rate the fiction as I want to listen to some feedback.
