Xianxia: My Junior Sisters Are Freaks! Chapter 139

A hundred miles away from the Mysterious Sky Sword Sect.
On top of a mountain that was ten thousand feet tall.
Dozens of black-robed men were waiting in formation, their eyes burning as they looked forward.
"This is the path that Yin Buping must take to return to the Clear Water Sect."
"If we ambush him here, we will definitely be able to catch him off guard."
"At that time, His Highness will lead a group of demon experts to come and support him. That Yin Buping will definitely die."
One of the leaders of the devil race ordered everyone to set up the formation with a malicious gaze.
"Reporting, Commander Chen, the formation has already been set up!"
Chen Mochou nodded.
This was the first time he had taken the lead since he was promoted. He had to be absolutely prepared.
The mission he received was to lead a group of devil subordinates to ambush here. The goal was to kill Yin Bupng who had returned from the Mysterious Sky Sword Sect.
While he was checking the formation, three figures appeared not far away.
One of them had pure white hair and a youthful face. He was dressed in white and there were two guardian boys standing on his left and right. The three of them were getting closer and closer.
This white-clothed man with white hair and a youthful face was Yin Buping, the Sect Master of the Clear Water Sect.
"Prepare to activate the formation!"
Although the powerful reinforcements of the demon race had yet to arrive, they could not care less at this moment.
When the three of them entered the range of the array formation, it was a good time to activate the Great Array Formation.
At this moment, in the sky above the Perilous Peak.
Yin Buping's pair of white eyebrows were slightly squeezed together.
"Sect Master, what happened?"
The two boys beside him asked in puzzlement.
For some reason, Yin Buping suddenly had a premonition as if there was something dangerous lurking in front of them, waiting for them.
Suddenly, the feeling became stronger, but this time, it did not come from the front, but from not far behind the three of them.
"Oh no, let's go!"
Yin Buping cursed in his heart. He suddenly sped up and rushed forward with the two boys.
Chen Mochou, the demon commander lying in ambush on the Perilous Peak, could not help but reveal a happy expression when he saw this situation.

"Listen to my command!"
"Activate the Blood Demon Great Formation and kill Yin Buping!"
"Quick! Quick! Quick!"
Chen Mochou hurriedly gave the order, afraid that if he was even a little bit later, he would let his men slip away.
As the order was given.
A Blood Red Great Formation suddenly rose within a radius of several dozen miles, enveloping Yin Buping and the other two within.
"Not good, this is a trap of the demon race!"
Feeling the aura of the formation, Yin Buping's face turned completely white.
At this moment, how could he not know that he had fallen into the demon race's trap? It was just that everything had happened too quickly and caught him off guard.
One of the boys said.
"How did the Sect Master and the demon race know our route? Could it be that the Blackheaven Sword Sect have been colluding with the demon race?"
"Blackheaven Sword Sect?"
Yin Buping's gaze froze, then he shook his head.
This possibility was not far-fetched, but it could basically be ruled out.
After all, if the Blackheaven Sword Sect was really colluding with the demon race, then the situation would be much more serious than it was now.
Just by opening the seal of the demon race, the entire Eastern Wastelands would fall into eternal damnation. Since there was no problem with the seal now, it meant that they did not have such thoughts.
It was obvious that someone else had betrayed them, but it was definitely not the Mysterious Heavenly Sword Sect.
Just as Yin Buping was deep in thought, a sharp and ear-piercing voice came from behind the formation.
The intense sense of unease in Yin Buping's heart grew stronger.
He knew that the main character had appeared.
"Hahaha! Sect Master Yin, how have you been?"
"Although we haven't met before, I've heard of the reputation of the always youthful prodigy, Yin Buping!"
"What a pity. This is the first time we've met. I'm afraid this will also be the last time."
As soon as he finished speaking, a phantom-like figure slowly appeared.
The person was dressed in a blood-red robe with a feather fan and a silk scarf. The combination of the scholarly aura and the blood-red robe immediately gave people a strange feeling of disharmony.
Amidst wild laughter.
Chen Youliang, who was dressed in a blood-red robe, appeared behind Yin Buping and the others.

From the respectful gazes of the demons, his identity was already self-evident.
Yin Buping's face turned gloomy, and he turned around warily.
"If I'm not wrong, you must be the human son of the demons that the demons have chosen after coming into this world!"
"Haha! As expected of the Sect Master of the Clear Water Sect. He's a smart man!"
Although the passage connecting the demon race to the Eastern Wilderness was sealed, their plot never stopped. Every hundred years, they would look for a holy son in the human world and nurture him with great dedication. In the end, they had achieved the goal of opening the seal and bringing him into the demon race's army.
It seemed that the person in front of them was indeed the holy son of the demon race in this life.
"Humph! The demon race is really generous!"
Chen Youliang smiled and did not say anything. He gently waved his feather fan.
Suddenly!
The two boys beside Yin Buping suddenly fell to the ground. Their bodies were completely stiff, and they did not know when they had been killed.
The bright red blood under their feet went straight into the void and was completely absorbed by the demon race's formation.
What? When did they die?
They were actually able to silently kill the boys beside them in front of the peak of the tribulation transcending stage. could his strength be...
At the thought of this, Yin Buping could not help but break out in cold sweat.
Facing Chen Youliang, whose strength far surpassed his, coupled with the fact that there was a formation covering the area, even escaping was meaningless at this time!
After understanding this point, Yin Buping became calm instead.
Chen Youliang looked at him with admiration.
"I didn't expect that the immortal prodigy would have such boldness. He is a hundred or a thousand times stronger than the other mysterious disciples of the Yan Yun Sect!"
"You..."
Upon hearing this, Yin Buping clenched his fists tightly.
With the sound of air being torn apart, a few black figures with round drums rolled down to Yin Buping's feet.
Upon a closer look, it was actually the heads of the other five sect leaders!
No, why was there still one missing?
"Hahaha! Sect Leader Yin, we meet again!"
A sound as loud as a gong rang out, and a burly figure appeared in front of the demon race's great array.
After Yin Buping recognized the person's identity, his heart could not help but thump,
"It's you, Daoist Zuo!"
"Why did you seek refuge with the demon race? You're asking for great damage!"
In the Selfless Sect, Daoist Zuo snorted coldly.
"Hmph! A wise man submits to circumstances. Are you going to sit around and wait to die of old age?"
The pursuit of longevity was the supreme ideal of every cultivator. Some people chose to defy the heavens and change their fate, while others chose to go astray in order to obtain eternal life.
Daoist Zuo had already stagnated for a hundred years in the great completion stage, and the normal lifespan of the great completion stage was only three thousand years. Therefore, he began to resort to all sorts of means to live longer.
Yin Buping knew that he was doomed this time, but there were some things that he had to say.
He pointed at Daoist Zuo's nose and questioned.
"Daoist Zuo, if you behave like this, you will be cursed at by the people of the Eastern Wastelands for the rest of your life, and your Selfless Sect will also bear a bad reputation forever Are you doing this to the ancestors of your Selfless Sect?"
"Selfless Sect, Selfless Sect, and no one else. I don't even have me in my eyes. Why do you still want to cultivate the Great Dao?"
Daoist Zuo also seemed to have touched on a taboo. His expression was crazy and excited.
"I have lived for the sect for more than a thousand years. In this life, I live for myself. What's wrong with living for me?!"
"If you don't do this for yourself, the heavens will punish you. Daoist Zuo, you did the right thing!"
Chen Youliang stood where he was and looked at the two red-faced people. He waved the feather fan in his hand and said calmly.
"At least you still have a chance to pursue immortality, but this old ghost won't be able to pass this test!"
"Right, right right!"

Adventurer Book II - Dawn of an Empire Short story prequel- The Lurking Lair: An Adventuer Series Short Story Summary for the LitRPG savvy reader: Looking for a LitRPG that is more tabletop traditional role playing game and less MMORPG? This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights. The MC is more of an everyman than someone specifically chosen for the experience. Author's Note: This is my debut novel. Up until this point, the only thing I have written of comparable length has been non-fiction and related to history. I am immensely grateful to all the folks who have given me feedback and helped me improve my writing.

Triquetra: A Multi-Class Isekai or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Accept the End of the Multiverse
Triquetra: An Multi-Class Isekei Adventure I know, I know, you have heard it all before. Yes I was hit by a truck. Yes I ended up in a Fantastical World suspiciously similar to one of my favorite RPG’s. Yes I had access to cheats no one else possessed. Yes it was a world of classes and levels and magic powers. Finally, yes I was an overweight middle-aged loser failing to live up to my potential. Given my eclectic reading habits I should have been better prepared. Unfortunately I was not. Sure I could multi-class with reduced penalties, but my starting class was Scholar! No combat abilities and very limited spellcasting. My HUD interface costs mana to use, and my universal translation seemed to be outsourced to Giggle Translate. I’m supposed to be an OP MC! Not a slice-o- life struggling to survive in the wilderness. Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. I do not own the Cover image, found it on a free image site.

Dark Matter
In the year 2023, scientists investigating the nature of dark matter caused a blackout throughout the entire world of Coranth. With this blackout came the appearance of supernatural and near-magical elemental abilities able to be wielded by all. By harnessing the dark matter in the environment, even ordinary humans now accessed powers that would have been deemed fantasy. These abilities include Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, and Terra, being the five natural elements of which dark matter is absorbed by the planet itself. Additionally, the two moons orbiting Coranth offer the "Superior" elements of Dark and Light. The year is now 2041, and Dark Matter will follow the story of an adolescent boy named Raiden Sullivan in a dystopian future, 16 years old, eldest of 2, and son to Marcus Sullivan. Raiden is an intelligent young man belonging to a poor family with an absentee mother. He partakes in daily chores to cover living expenses after school and his home life is surrounded by his caring father and younger sister. In truth, this is my take on urban fantasy with slight LitRPG that keeps the "magic" elements somewhat scientific for a more realistic story. In using the dark matter surrounding our universe, humans can now harness elemental abilities as well as absorb dark matter from the beasts/monsters to further strengthen their abilities. For the most part, that'll be the main premise of the power system. Full transparency, this will be the first story I write and also the first story I publish, so please be patient with me. For some context, I'm an avid reader and after 4 or so years of only consuming, I feel that it might be time to try my hand at writing instead. Please feel free to add your opinions and criticism, it would be much appreciated. With that said, I hope you enjoy Dark Matter!
