Immortal Path To Heaven Chapter 901

The Forest of Death was like a forgotten world. It was cold and lonely.
Although Ou Yangming was trapped in a formation, he was calm and carried a majestic momentum as though he would not change countenance no matter what.
All of a sudden, a voice came from the depths of the formation.
"You're quite a figure indeed; no wonder you were able to kill the Teng family's God-favored sons. But today, since you've fallen into our hands, you'll surely die even if you have three heads and six arms!"
Teng Donglin's face was cold. As he approached the young fellow slowly, it was as if he was walking from the night sky into the sunlight. He was dragging his longsword on the ground. The sword was 1.3 meters long and 7.63 centimeters wide, and it released cold lights in all directions. Even those who did not know the value of the sword would know by taking a look at the Cold Mists Sword that it was a rare spirit tool.
His long hair was tied up, and he looked awe-inspiring. Under the overbearing momentum of a top-grade Spiritualist, gusts of violent wind were stirred up.
Immediately after, the mists within the formation condensed, turning into a black hurricane that spun outwards.
When the black hurricane dispersed, an old figure appeared in front of Ou Yangming. His face was dry, and his hair was white. He held a longsword in his hand, but his eyes revealed a sneer, which was evident that he treated the young fellow lightly.
Ou Yangming looked around and stopped. He sneered and said, "You actually sent two top-grade Spiritualists. The Teng family has a great spirit."
Despite that, he did not look panicky at all.
"I didn't expect you to stay here after seeing two top-grade Spiritualists without panicking at all. You have a notable spirit too." Teng Xingwen scoffed. He held the sword's handle with his thin hand and raised its tip while he lightly tapped on the tip with his left middle finger. As the long sword swayed quickly, a clear ring spread in all directions. There was a hint of arrogance to it.
As the greatest aristocratic family in Donglin City with 2 top-grade Spiritualists, they had the right to be arrogant indeed.
"There's no need to chat with him. If we continue to chat, we'll miss the good timing," Teng Donglin reprimanded.
"Kill!" He shouted coldly. A blood-red light flashed in his eyes while cold light surged on the Cold Mists Sword, then he leaned forward and pounced forward like a roc pouncing on its prey. The elder was agile and had many tricks. He unleashed his combat power as a top-grade Spiritualist without any hesitation. His sword techniques were fast and ruthless, and he used his full strength as soon as he attacked.
After all, this was the first battle that the Teng family had to establish themselves in Huixun City. They could not afford to be defeated.
Teng Xingwen also had a grave look on his face as he followed closely behind. Unlike his skinny body, the longsword in his hand was fast and unpredictable.
These 2 top-grade Spiritualists actually did not care about their reputation at all and attacked an Intermediate Spiritualist at the same time. Nobody would believe it if the word spread.

Ou Yangming sneered to himself, and he was quickly struck by a thought, 'I'll definitely be at a disadvantage if I face them head-on.' He came up with a strategy and attacking methods for this fight in the blink of an eye.
As if stepping on 2 balls of brilliant flames, Ou Yangming quickly retreated. Concurrently, he tapped his interspatial bag with his right hand and grabbed the Blood Spear Dragon Slayer in his hand. The young fellow shouted coldly, "Stone Awl Art!"
Before his voice faded, the tip of the Blood Spear Dragon Slayer's spear emitted a brilliant red glow.
With Ou Yangming as the center, the ground within a radius of 33 meters from him began to tremble like waves.
Teng Donglin and Teng Xingwen looked at each other and saw the astonishment in each other's eyes. However, instead of stopping, they became faster like electric arcs.
Having said that, when they were less than 167 meters away from Ou Yangming, a roar was heard. The ground that was shaking like a wave seemed to have been squeezed inward by a pair of invisible hands. Stone awls protruded from the ground towards the sky and pounced towards the 2 elders. They were fast and hurried like heavy raindrops pattering on fallen leaves. Especially when the stone awls were enveloped by his mental power, they were indescribably sharp.
It would be fine if that was all but most importantly, the stone awls actually started spinning like blades. This instantly increased their sharpness, which allowed them to cut through everything, to a whole new level.
Upon seeing the mightiness, Teng Donglin and Teng Xingwen's faces changed at the same time.
The Cold Mists Sword in Teng Donglin's hand flashed with a cold light. Sword-lights flew everywhere majestically like rain. They kept slashing towards the stone awls and retreating at the same time.
On the other hand, the totem-like eagle on Teng Xingwen's longsword lit up. He gathered his Qi and breathed in and out, then the spiritual power in his dantian surged into the longsword like it was free. Once the totem light on the longsword reached its peak, he struck out boldly.
Lights scattered in all directions and wherever they passed, the stone awls shattered bit by bit. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the 2 elders finally retreated 167 meters away from Ou Yangming. Nevertheless, they were in an embarrassing state. Though the Stone Awl Art's power was not outstanding, the stone awls were incomparably sharp and there were too many of them. They were like fine sand in a desert and the stars in the sky, and it was impossible to guard against them.
Teng Donglin exhaled a breath of cold air and looked at Ou Yangming. He sneered and said, "So you're a caster. No wonder you were able to kill the 2 prodigies from my clan."
The totem light on Teng Xingwen's Longsword had already dimmed. He looked grim as he stared at the frail figure not far away. He snorted and said, "Even if you're a caster, if this is all you've got, you'll still have to die today."
With that, the elders exchanged glances. When the stone awls in the sky had all landed on the ground, they flashed and lunged at Ou Yangming once more.

Ou Yangming looked at the messy ground and was extremely satisfied. This was his first time casting a magic art, but the effect was better than he had expected. As an Intermediate Spiritualist, the fact that he could temporarily force 2 top-grade powerhouses to retreat was considered a miracle no matter what method he used. Of course, the young fellow also knew this was because the tip of the Blood Spear Dragon Slayer could amplify the magic art's ability. Otherwise, he could not have achieved such a miraculous effect.
As the young fellow shook his hand slightly, his mental power gushed out wildly. Moreover, the red light on the spearhead burst out more violently than before.
He shouted in a low voice, "Stone Awl Art."
Countless stone awls soared into the sky again but this time, the technique was somehow much weaker than the previous one. Even when the Dragon Slayer increased the magic art's power by 50%, it was still much weaker.
The 2 top-grade Spiritualists sensed the energy fluctuations in the stone awls, and their eyes flickered with joy. After looking at each other, they pounced on Ou Yangming from two directions, and they cooperated very well.
As the Cold Mists Sword flashed with cold lights, each slash gave off an unusually amazing feeling, where the slashes were like raindrops. Without warning, Teng Donglin's longsword was pressed down, and his blood flowed faster inside his body. The spiritual power in his dantian surged into the Cold Mists Sword without an end, the sword shone brightly as a result. Subsequently, the elder shouted coldly, "Tianlun Sword as One—unite!"
Right after he finished, the sword rain that he had slashed out earlier was forcefully condensed by his spiritual power and turned into a mighty sword-light that aimed at Ou Yangming. The stone awls within 10 meters of the sword light were all broken little by little.
Looking from afar, with Ou Yangming as the center, numerous stone bits flew one after another. It was as if a cylinder was formed by countless stone awls in the Forest of Death. The bottom of the cylinder was pressed against the ground, whereas the young fellow was above it. A boundless power spread out in all directions.
Even so, Teng Donglin's Tianlun Sword as One actually forcefully blasted out a 10-meters-wide gap from the cylinder formed by the stone awls.
This was enough to shock everyone.
Teng Donglin followed behind the sword-light, and his eyes flashed with a blood-red light. He was certain that any caster would be defeated without a doubt if they had to fight in a close range.
The spiritual power in his dantian gushed into the vast sword light without an end, and he moved faster than before.
When Teng Xingwen saw this, he looked pleasantly surprised and remarked with joy, "Big Brother, you're getting more familiar with the Tianlun Sword as One. This time, the fella will definitely die!"
As he spoke, he found a spot where the stone awls were not closely packed. He kept moving around and most of the time, he even used his physical strength to forcefully block the stone awls. The elder flipped the longsword in his hand and aimed straight at Ou Yangming's heart. It was clear that he wanted to pierce through the young fellow's heart, which was very vicious of him.
Before long, the elders were getting closer to Ou Yangming. Their bodies became more stable, and the strength in their arms also became greater.
10 meters, 6 meters, 3 meters...
96 centimeters, 64 centimeters, 32 centimeters...
"Die!" Teng Xingwen's eyes were bloodshot. His longsword was like a venomous snake coming out of its hole, and it was after Ou Yangming's heart.
When the longsword was only 5 centimeters away from Ou Yangming's heart, something strange happened. The tip of the Blood Spear Dragon Slayer's spear suddenly lit up. A red light surged rapidly like water, and it flickered intensely like never before.
Ou Yangming's eyes were ice-cold. He looked at the longsword that was very close to his chest and sneered, "Titanium Protection!" Before the young fellow's voice was gone, countless thin and dense yellow lights appeared out of nowhere. They interweaved into a net and spread out to envelope his body such that even his skin turned into a faint bronze color. It was as though he had cultivated a body-tempering technique and became incredibly tough.
Upon seeing this, the elders felt a strong sense of danger. Even the hairs on their bodies stood up.
"Retreat! Retreat quickly!" Teng Donglin's heart thudded as he screamed. Without any hesitation, he rolled up his sleeves and pushed away the majestic sword-light in front of him. The elder lowered his center of gravity and forcefully stopped advancing to retreat swiftly.
Teng Xingwen gritted his teeth and hesitated as he was still unwilling to give up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He believed that as long as his sword charged out, Ou Yangming would unquestionably die. The elder forcefully suppressed the fear in his heart, and a ruthless glint flashed across his eyes.
Every meridian in Teng Xingwen's body swelled up as his spiritual power burst out from his dantian. The light on the longsword shone brightly. Not only did it not retreat, but it was also pushed out with force. That said, after it was pushed out about 5 centimeters, the longsword seemed to have been wrapped by thousands of threads, by which it could not push forward at all. The longsword was close to Ou Yangming's heart, but the distance between them was like a natural chasm that could never be crossed.
The Tianlun Sword as One was also blocked by the Titanium Protection.
At the spur of the moment, a look of ridicule could be seen on Ou Yangming's face.
A thud could be heard in Teng Xingwen's mind, and he immediately felt a stronger sense of danger than before.
All of a sudden, a series of whistling sounds came from below Ou Yangming. Teng Xingwen looked down and exclaimed, "How's this possible?"
