The Legend Of Futian Chapter 2105

Chapter 2105: Fang Gai
No one had doubts about the master’s words; even Muyun Long didn’t suspect the master.
The master was always right. The seven Divine Techniques would definitely come out since he said so.
Did it mean that the four families would become the seven families in the future?
Muyun Long felt apprehensive about this possibility. He vaguely sensed that everything was part of the master’s plan. Who would the other three families be?
Would the outsiders get their hands on it?
Plenty of outsiders had gained some benefits in the history of Four Corner Village. Otherwise, they wouldn’t persist in coming to the village. Even so, it was unlikely for them to inherit the Divine Techniques.
The villagers were descendants of the Four Corner Divine Nation. They were destined to be the inheritors of the Divine Techniques.
More and more people in each generation experienced awakenings. All seven Divine Techniques could emerge eventually. But the villagers didn’t expect the day to come so quickly. According to the master, it was probably expedited because of the transformation that happened just now.
The master stopped talking after that, but his silence didn’t bring peace and calm back to everyone’s mind. What happened on this day had epoch-making significance for Four Corner Village. The master allowed the villagers to make contact with the Outer Realms. In the meantime, he predicted that all seven Divine Techniques would come out soon. Four Corner Village was about to go through a complete change.
As for now, no one knew if the change would be for better or for worse.
“Since the master had spoken, you can go back now,” Old Ma said, looking at Muyun Long and the others. Two out of the four families currently in charge of Four Corner Village were opposed to expelling Ye Futian. The master also said that they should wait until all seven Divine Techniques had come out to make a decision together.
Under such circumstances, Muyun Long couldn’t insist on kicking Ye Futian out.
“Since the master said so, I have no choice but to look forward to witnessing the emergence of the seven Divine Techniques,” said Muyun Long. Then, he turned around and left with the group. The crowd dispersed at once and moved on to keep exploring the mysteries of this new world.
The rest of the three Divine Techniques would turn up soon. It was crucial to people living in Four Corner Village. Everyone was fervently expecting the big reveal. What if they happened to be the chosen ones?

Many common folks in the village hoped to inherit the Divine Technique and become powerful cultivators. Otherwise, the villagers wouldn’t be so eager to make contact with the Outer Realms and end the seclusion.
The locals in Four Corner Village were not the only ones who had their fingers crossed. The cultivators who came from the Outer Realms also had high hopes.
Could they have the chance to inherit the Divine Techniques?
This was an extremely important and probably the biggest opportunity they had ever encountered. No one could foresee what the future held.
Many of them had already informed their families and asked them to send more people here. Now that Four Corner Village had officially opened up, cultivators from the Outer Realms should be able to come in freely, shouldn’t they?
They had to try, at least.
Four Corner Village became even more bustling and lively now. After moments of peace that came with the initial shock, the village turned back into a buzzy place teeming with cultivators. They originally thought that they didn’t have to rush to seek cultivation opportunities. But now, everyone was dreaming of inheriting the Divine Techniques and wouldn’t waste a single moment.
However, Ye Futian and the others returned to their relaxed state. They went back to sit around the table. Old Ma and Blind Tie were both calm and composed as well.
“The Muyun family is becoming more and more absurd,” Old Ma said in a low voice. “No wonder their son behaves like this. Muyun Shu was a good kid when he was little. Who would have thought that he would grow into a bully?”
“The Muyun family has been quite domineering in recent years. They exert a strong influence in the village and inevitably succumb to hubris and ambition,” someone else next to them said with a smile. “Based on what Muyun Long said, he probably wanted to open up Four Corner Village a long time ago.”
“His son is rising to fame in the Outer Realms. If the village remained closed, his son wouldn’t have a chance to visit him, let alone showing off the wealth and power he acquired outside. Of course, Muyun Long wants the village to open up.” Old Ma hit the nail on the head and pointed out the most important reason.
“Fang Gai, you probably want the same thing. Don’t say it’s not your wish as well.”
“Hey!” Fang Gai grinned and said, “I already said that I would unconditionally follow the master’s guidance.”

Old Ma glanced at Fang Gai. This man was quite crafty and slippery.
“Why did you offend Muyun Long in public this time?” Old Ma asked.
“To be fair and just, of course,” Fang Gai walked to the table and asked, “Can I sit down and have a few drinks with you guys?”
He narrowed his eyes and stared at Old Ma and Blind Tie. He had been standing by the side for a long time, yet these two bastards didn’t even invite him for a drink. How ungrateful.
“Sit,” said Old Ma. Fang Gai pulled his grandson, Fang Cun, to sit alongside him. Fang Cun’s bright eyes surveyed the people around the table. He didn’t fully understand his grandfather’s action.
“Little Ling is getting more beautiful every day. You will surely be a stunner when you grow up!” Fang Gai praised Little Ling after taking his seat. Little Ling blinked and looked down in embarrassment. He muttered, “Grandpa Fang.”
“What a shy girl, haha.” Fang Gai laughed. “Fang Cun, don’t pick on Little Ling again.”
“I didn’t pick on her,” Fang Cun defended himself with frustration.
Fang Gai flicked Fang Cun on his forehead for talking back. Little Ling hurried to say, “Grandpa Fang, Fang Cun really didn’t pick on me.”
“That’s good. Ask Fang Cun to play with you more in the future.” Fang Gai laughed. Meanwhile, another boy was glaring at him at the moment. Fang Gai noticed Tie Tou’s fierce stare and pointed at him. “Tie Tou, you should join them too so you won’t be bullied as well.”
“I won’t be bullied,” Tie Tou raised his chin and said.
“Hah, who else was bullied that day by the boy from the Muyun family?” Fang Gai joked.
“My dad didn’t allow me to fight back. I’m not afraid of him at all,” said Tie Tou. He jerked his head up and said with indignation. Other people couldn’t help but laugh. Ye Futian darted a glance at Fang Gai. He was impressed by how quickly Fang Gai acquainted with Little Ling and Tie Tou. The atmosphere became cordial and relaxed at once as if they had always been good friends.
“Quit teasing him. Everyone else is out there searching for cultivation opportunities. Why didn’t you go?” Old Ma asked Fang Gai.
“The cultivation opportunities are predestined. Since the ancestors manifested themselves, I believe everything is part of a plan. This is not something that can be forced. It all depends on luck,” Fang Gai said, “My family is not lucky enough. I need to let my grandson absorb some good fortune here.”
“Why are you looking for good fortune in my house?” Old Ma said with a scowl on his face.
Fang Gai looked at Old Ma with his squinting eyes. He was certain that Old Ma was an old fox trying to hide his good fortune. From what he could see, Old Ma’s home was the luckiest place in the entire Four Corner Village.
“Old Ma, we have known each other for many years. Why are you so cagey around me?” Fang Gai gazed at Old Ma and asked, “Muyun Long and I are not the same kind of people, are we?”
“Who knows?” Old Ma said.
“You old b*stard…” Fang Gai cursed in a low voice, “What an ingrate. I shouldn’t have helped you just now.”
“Skip the nonsense. Just tell me what you want to do.” They grew up in the same village and were around the same age. Even Muyun Long was a whole generation younger than them.
Therefore, they knew each other very well.
“Muyun Long is getting more and more outrageous. Four Corner Village might be led astray if he remained in power. No one knows what would happen. I will side with you no matter what. Tie Tou basically inherited the Divine Technique and should have a say, according to the master. Either way, we should make the village our priority no matter what ulterior motive I may have.” Fang Gai said, “Since you two don’t like me here, I won’t overstay my welcome.”
Then, he stood up and left with Fang Cun.
The rest of the people watched them going away. Little Ling sneaked a peek at Old Ma and said quietly, “Grandpa Fang is a good man.”
Although Fang Gai and Fang Cun enjoyed a high status in the village, they had never pushed anyone around. They liked to joke around but never with any malicious intent.
“I know. But this old fox is hatching a secret plot.” Old Ma shot a glance at Ye Futian. Fang Gai didn’t say a word to Ye Futian from start to finish. But did he really come here only to visit Old Ma and Blind Tie?
