Qin Wenqian did not want to be alone at home, so she followed her mother back to the shop. She played in the shop the whole day and laying in her mother's arms due to fatigue. While walking home, Xian Guiying overheard conversations between Wei Zhengsheng and Wei Shanyuan from time to time.

"You flew home quickly when you heard I was on my way to Wuyuan, what's wrong? Are you really afraid that I will seduce your beauty and run away with her?" Wei Shanyuan was originally a dishonest person. He restrained himself a lot in front of Xian Guiying and the child. However, once he was in front of Wei Zhengsheng, his true nature was immediately revealed.

"Hey, what are you talking about? Was I so easily seduced?" Xian Guiying glanced at him.

Wei Zhengsheng smiled but didn't say a word. Wei Shanyuan immediately laughed, "That's true, my cousin tried to seduce you for more than ten years, but to no avail."

Xian Guiying ignored his teasing and continued walking. Wei Shanyuan chuckled and glanced at Wei Zhengsheng. The latter's eyes were a bit helpless, but a slight smile was hanging on his face.

When they returned to the residential complex, Xian Guiying carried the child in her arms carefully as she climbed the stairs. She was afraid Qin Wenqian would fall if she's not careful.

Wei Zhengsheng's gaze stopped at the silver-grey SUV still parked on the side of the road.

"What are you looking at?" Wei Shanyuan was about to enter the building when he noticed Wei Zhengsheng stop behind him.

Wei Zhengsheng was just about to go to the SUV when Wei Shanyuan called out to him. He stopped and looked at the SUV again, then replied, "It's nothing." He followed him through the door.

As soon as Wei Zhengsheng entered the building, the silver-grey SUV's window slowly fell down.

"Qianqian, stop playing. Let Uncle Yuan and Uncle Wei rest. You also need to take a bath."

Since both of them entered the door, they've been playing all sorts of games with Qin Wenqian, accompanying her while Xian Guiying was busy in the kitchen. Xian Guiying leaned against the bedroom door and watched the two men sitting on the edge of the bed, surrounded by the spoiled girl's toys.

Qin Wenqian was laughing and screaming. Xian Guiying helplessly picked up her daughter, then led the child to the bathroom.

Seeing Xian Guiying's graceful movements, the Wei Brothers didn't even have a chance to speak to stop her. Qin Wenqian had already taken off her clothes and stood under the shower.

Ten minutes later, Xian Guiying came out of the bathroom with the fresh smelling Qin Wenqian wrapped in a towel in her arms. After putting on the pajamas, she managed to persuade the child to sleep in less than twenty minutes.

Wei Zhengsheng and Wei Shanyuan looked at each other with a faint smile on their faces as they watched Xian Guiying coaxing her daughter to sleep.

"She won't stop playing if you don't stop her. Aren't you two tired after playing with her for so long?" Seeing the two men in a daze, Xian Guiying couldn't help but laugh. She then got up from the bed and walked into the kitchen.

It wasn't until the two of them came over to help out that Wei Shanyuan made a move to leave, leaving Wei Zhengsheng alone in the kitchen with her. Xian Guiying saw through his intention immediately and couldn't help but glare at him secretly.

However, Wei Shanyuan ignored it and went to the living room to watch TV with a smile.

Seeing Wei Zhengsheng washing the dishes, Xian Guiying immediately stopped him. "Let me do it, only two plates left. You can stay with Shanyuan in the living room."

"It's okay. I usually do it myself when I get home from work." Wei Zhengsheng pushed her hand away gently.

Xian Guiying opened her mouth, wanting to reject him, but when she looked at the serious expression on his face as he washed the dishes, she said nothing.

Sensing that she wanted to say something, Wei Zhengsheng looked at her. "What?"

Xian Guiying smiled and shook her head. "It's nothing."

As she said this, she turned around and prepared to cook.

Wei Zhengsheng immediately grabbed her hand. As Xian Guiying looked at him, he said in a very soft, gentle voice. "When you have thought it through, tell me, hmm? You can't spend the rest of your life like this. No matter what your answer is, I will respect your choice."

Xian Guiying laughed dryly. She looked at the hand that was holding her, then bit her lip and nodded.

Wei Zhengsheng smiled contentedly. He squeezed her hand and said, "Don't use cold water to wash vegetables in the future. It will freeze your hands and not be good for your health."

Xian Guiying nodded again and withdrew her hand. Wei Zhensheng no longer held her hand and went back to washing the vegetables.

Xian Guiying brought plates of fried foods to the living room. Wei Shanyuan immediately stood up and took the plates from her. "What's the point of cooking so many dishes? If I weren't afraid of Wei Zhengsheng, I would definitely come in to help you. It's only the three of us, you don't have to cook so much. Just like the way I ate here a few days ago, you can cook two simple dishes."

"It's very rare for three of us to get together, so we have to celebrate it." Xian Guiying smiled as she handed the plates to him before returning to the kitchen.

While walking into the kitchen, she saw Wei Zhengsheng come inside from the balcony. There seemed to be something in his eyes, so she looked at him.

"I'll be down for a while. Will be back soon." He wiped his hands and walked to the front door.

Xian Guiying asked hesitantly, "It's already so late. What are you doing downstairs?"

"The air in the kitchen isn't very good. I'll go down to get some fresh air."

Without waiting for Xian Guiying to finish, Wei Zhengsheng opened the anti-theft door and walked out. Xian Guiying returned to the kitchen hesitantly and sniffed. There's nothing wrong with the air.

With a flashlight in his hand, Wei Zhengsheng walked out of the dark corridor. He looked at the silver-grey SUV that had been parked there for a long time.

Qin Gengxin was leaning against the SUV door quietly with one hand in his pocket while the other holding a cigarette.

Seeing Wei Zhengsheng walking towards him, Qin Gengxin tilted his head while puffing the smoke.

He glanced at him without expression, then threw the cigarette in his hand to the ground and stepped on it to put it out. Then, he narrowed his eyes.

Qin Gengxin kept the engine on and looked towards Wei Zhengsheng.

"It's been a long time since you parked your car here? Why don't you get inside?"

There were probably many words between the two men that shouldn't have been intentionally saying and they shouldn't have fought directly. Facing people like Qin Gengxin, in Wei Zhengsheng's mind, rational solutions were far more plausible than impulsive blows at each other.

Qin Gengxin didn't look at him and just smiled coldly. He didn't say anything but took out another cigarette and put it in his mouth. After hesitating for a while, he decided not to smoke. He took out a cigarette and held it between his fingers.

"She doesn't want to see me." He said.

"It seems you respect her wishes." Wei Zhengsheng said lightly. "Then why are you still here?"

Qin Gengxin smirked. "What do you think?"

Wei Zhengsheng immediately laughed. "Don't tell me.."

Leaning against the door, Qin Gengxin said with a faint smile, "I realized it too late and before thinking about what I should do next, I should think of a way to handle you first."
