After avoiding countless powerful beings that were fighting they finally managed to return back to the base safely

Karl and France immediately went to sleep to recover after using their respective modes ​​

Suddenly a commotion was heard in the base entrance causing Shadowslash and the others who are still not tired to dash towards the entrance

When they arrived at the entrance they saw a man who only have one armed and have his body full bondages walking back to the base

Repeated cries of panic and worry was heard from the soldiers and when Shadowslash heard what they said he finally realised why the humans were panicking it was actually one of the human commander

Suddenly the Golden Uniformed Man along with his subordinates started to escort the injured commander back to their tent

Shadowslash just sighed seeing this unlike monsters humans are truly weak physically and they don't have the inborn ability to recover themselves just by eating

"Claire go and heal that injured human" After saying that he then brought 10 Fireback and Wind Wolves with him he also brought Sans because of the ongoing fight and the Abbysal Demons the whole sky was covered with dark clouds creating a gloomy atmosphere but this situation helps Sans at least

When they arrive at the battlefield where the Gold Rank monsters and the human soldiers fought with the weaker Chaos Beast and Abbysal Demons

"Okay everyone me and Sans would bait the Chaos Beasts and Abbysal Demons here once they got on that line let them have it" After saying that he dashed towards where the Chaos Beasts clustered together while Sans targeted the Abbysal Demons

When Shadowslash arrived in front of the Chaos Beasts he used [Dark Flame Blast]

*Boom* the attack blow up the head of the Chaos Beast who is in the front of the other Chaos Beast

Seeing their companion die the rest of the Chaos Beast was enraged and they look at Shadowslash and roared they all started charging towards him

The Chaos Beasts looks like ordinary beasts albeit have bloody eyes and much more ferocious appearance they are also surrounded by chaotic energy

Shadowslash then started running back luring the Chaos Beasts towards the target area that he set up

While Shadowslash already accomplished his task Sans however had a problem on his target

A demon who looks like knight wielding a hammer atop a demon bull blocked Sans way

Suddenly the atmosphere become quite tense as the demon and Sans unleashed their aura

*Roar* *Neigh* Sans and the demon started charging at each other

*Bang* their weapons clashed the attack caused Sans to back off it seems that the demon strength is much higher than Sans

Also Realising this Sans fused with Nightmare and then started to run in circle at the demon while also releasing countless [Death Slash]

The demon was hit with attacks even though its armor managed to protect it the attack also wounded the bull underneath causing it to continuously bleed

*Roar* the demon let out an enraged roar then swings its hammer around it once, twice thrice

With the continuous swing the demon created a wind like barrier around it causing to Sans to stop and retreat

*Swish* Suddenly the demon throws his hammer towards Sans

Sans was startled but immediately used [Death Slash] towards the incoming hammer

*Bang* Even though Sans managed to defend himself but the force behind the throw cause Sans to step back leaving deep hoofprint to the ground

*Roar* The demon was not finish yet it jump off from the bull and ran towards Sans after grabbing its hammer it pounded the ground in front of Sans

*Boom* The attack destroyed the ground and even caused an earthquake

Sans became unbalanced causing it to awkwardly try to adjust himself

Seeing this the demon then jumps and sent his hammer crashing down towards Sans

*Roar* Sans unleashed a battle cry and used all of his strength and unleashed [Supreme Death Slash] towards the demon

*Boom* the two weapon met causing a loud sound blowing countless dust

After the dust settled Sans was seen kneeling with one of his arm that was holding the sword was drooping low

The demon was seen standing in front of Sans but on its chest was a sword mark but it was not deep enough to inflict much pain to the demon

The demon then dashed towards Sans ready to finish him when suddenly a powerful black flaming ball came flying towards it causing it to promptly stops and send a powerful swing towards the incoming attack

"Sans are alright" Shadowslash appeared besides Sans

Shadowslash was just leading the Chaos Beasts towards the target area but he felt something wrong when Sans have still not lure the Abbysal Demons

When he finally lead the Chaos Beasts into the target area all the wolves promptly rain down their terror towards the Chaos Beast countless wind blades and fireballs were released

Seeing how fast the Chaos Beasts fall after being hit by numerous wind blades and fireballs Shadowslash was assured in leaving the wolves to annihilate the small group of Chaos Beasts

He then went to find Sans while he was running towards the direction where Sans went an explosion occured causing him to hasten his advance

That's when he saw the demon that was about to finish off Sans

Sans looks at Shadowslash and said in a frustrated manner "Sorry boss for not completing the task you left for me"

He also was very angry at himself for losing and having Shadowslash saved him once again

"Its okay and besides this is not your fault your level is just too low for this enemy" Shadowslash said after he finished scanning the demon

Berserker Horned Abbysal Knight (Gold Rank 9) (Commander Rank Demon) (Strengthening Type Demon)

"Boss can you assist me in the fight but only firing your skill on a distance I want to finish my fight with this demon" Sans determinedly said

Shadowslash then looks at Sans broken arm and hesitated but thinking about the Knight Title and his support Sans could definitely take the Berserker Horned Abbysal Knight down

"Okay just heal your arm first" Hearing this Sans used some of the accumulated Yin Energy from the Yin Stone and used it to recover his arm

After healing his arm Sans looks at the Berserker Horned Abbysal Knight and saw that it was still dazed

Sans was confused as to why but still he decided to be the first one to strike just as he was about to start a loud horn was suddenly heard

The sound travel throughout the battlefield causing everyone to stop and look towards the commotion

Suddenly a huge vortex suddenly appeared above the battlefield

*Boom* An explosion occured as a golden portal appeared in the human base

*Roar* Another portal appeared and countless dragon roar was heard coming out of it

Seeing this development wether it was the enemy or the soldiers all of them started retreating

Shadowslash was quite puzzled about this but he still brought Sans back and went to where the wolves are before they retreated back to the base

When they finally returned Shadowslash immediately went to look for the Troll Commander

"Hey brat thanks for saving me earlier hahaha" When the Troll Commander saw Shadowslash it started getting boisterous even though it was full of injury

Shadowslash accepted his thanks and asks "May I ask what happened and why did everyone cease fighting?"

Hearing this the Troll Commander became silent for a minute before speaking "The Emperors have spoken and all of them decided to relinquish this place for the otherworlders"

Shadowslash was shocked by this revelation he asks dumbly "Why?"

The Troll Commander sighed in a depressed manner "It is because another thing has come down and other world gates started appearing in different places and some of them were near the land of the emperors"

Shadowslash then realised why they stopped but he continued to asks "I understand why we are retreating but why would the enemies let this opportunity go and who is this emperor you always speaking about?"

The Troll Commander was just about to answer Shadowslash when suddenly somebody called it

The person who was calling it was the humanoid monster that it always with

"Sorry I will look for you later to answer all your question but this might be important" After saying that the Troll Commander hastily ran towards the humanoid monster

Shadowslash was disappointed that his question was not answered but at least it would be answered later

He then returned back to their group's spot and brought the others to start teleporting some of the carcass in the battlefield

France, Banjo, Sans, Clwyd, J-Darwin and him manage to secure a good number of monster and chaos beast carcass back to the cave they also stole a Crimson Gold Rank Abbysal Demon corpse and manage to teleport it back to the cave
