Black Tech Internet Cafe System Chapter 338 – Driving A Ground Plane
Translator: Noodletown Translations Editor: Noodletown Translations
The McKenzie Field Hangar wasn’t one of those large commercial airports that could be seen in almost every city; it was a private hangar for small planes.
It wasn’t in the center of the city but located in the rural area of the city surrounded by low hills. Like a huge factory in the country, there were several big cargo containers lying on the ground while gangsters walked around in groups of two and threes. It almost looked like the countryside.
Velum was the private plane of the Vagos Gang.
When the four of them drove to the McKenzie Field Hangar, they saw that two gang members were chatting to each other while they walked on the path leading to the gate of the hangar.
Didi! Xichi Spiritual Master was driving the car. Obviously, the cultivators were quick learners, and she could drive the car well now.
She honked the horn, but the guys before them didn’t show any intention of giving way to the car.
“Make way! Make way for us!”
Liu Ningyun yelled in alarm, “Master, turn the wheel!”
Mo Xian yelled, “You’re going to hit them!”
“Ahh!”
The girls in the car yelled, but the fat guy in the front was sent flying by the car.
“Master, didn’t you say that you could drive well now?” Mo Xian complained in a low voice.
“I honked, but they ignored me and didn’t do anything.” The Xichi Spiritual Master drove forward with a cold expression, and gunshots rose around them.
Obviously, they had attracted the attention of all the gangsters before they could see the plane. It was the territory of the Vagos Gang, and it would take a long time for policemen to race to this rural place.
“There are many of them!” Mo Xian yelled in alarm.
Bang!
The front window was shattered, and the Xichi Spiritual Master’s car zigzagged in the crowd, making a path that no one understood.
Dadada…
The girls had changed from their usual dresses into neat black T-shirt and jeans. They picked up the guns and fired wildly.

“Auch!” Hearing a shrill from the back seat, Mo Xian looked back and saw blood on a snow-white shirt; the disciple named Yue Yan was shot.
“Junior Sister, what is going on? Can you hold on?!”
“Senior Sister… I… am dying!” She lay on the back seat with tears in her eyes. “You… must… avenge me!”
Mo Xian dug out a grenade, bit on the firing pin, and pulled it out before tossing it out. “All of you, go to hell!”
Boom!
The grenade explosion sent several gangsters flying, and then she fired wildly with her submachine gun.
When she looked back, she saw Yue Yan reaching out her hand, saying, “Senior Sister…”
“Huh! You are still alive?” Mo Xia gaped when she saw Yue Yan, who was covered in blood, was still alive.
“I just checked, and I still have one sliver of HP left… I can be saved…”
The others fell silent.
“Master! There’s a plane over there! It must be the one!” Sharp-eyed Liu Ningyun saw the plane parked in the hangar. While firing at the gangsters, she said, “Let’s get onboard! Master, hurry up and fly the plane!”
The four of them scrambled onto the plane with the Xichi Spiritual Master sitting in the cockpit and the others sitting behind her. After a long while, the girls asked, “Master, why aren’t you driving it?”
They looked at the Xichi Spiritual Master who was sitting before them in bafflement.
“This thing seems different from cars?!” Sitting in the cockpit, the Xichi Spiritual Master felt confused while she looked at the complicated buttons on the panel.
“Master! Drive it!”
“Drive it!”
“They are coming!”
“Ahh!”
After all, they were ordinary people in the game and thus couldn’t cast spiritual spells or fly. Looking at the flying bullets around them, the girls shrieked in panic.
“Ahh! Junior Sister is dying! Master, please drive now!” Mo Xian yelled.
“This spiritual artifact is too complicated; I don’t know how to drive it!” With a cold expression, the Xichi Spiritual Master pressed blindly on the buttons.

Finally, the plane moved, and the propeller in the front began to spin.
“It’s moving! It’s moving!”
“Can it fly?” Liu Ningyun and the others were obviously very curious about the plane, which could fly without spiritual essence. “Can it fly by itself like this?”
“How come it’s not flying!” The plane was now out of the hangar, but it was just moving on the ground; it didn’t show any signs that it would fly.
“Quickly fly! Why isn’t it flying?!” The gangsters in the area were firing wildly at them, and they ducked under the windows in fear.
“I don’t know how to fly it!” The Xichi Spiritual Master was still pressing blindly on the buttons.
“How come other people’s planes can fly, but ours is just rolling on the ground? Is it a ground plane?” Yue Yan said curiously.
Mo Xian yelled, “Should we inject some spiritual essence into it?”
“Hahahaha! Senior Sister, my belly hurts! Do you have any spiritual essence right now?” Sitting in the back of the plane, Yue Yan’s belly hurt from laughing while shedding blood. “Maybe we should put some spiritual stones in it?”
“Master! We’re surrounded!” Liu Ningyun yelled while she fired her submachine gun.
“We’re crashing into it! Turn! Turn! Quick!”
Boom!
The plane crashed into a huge cargo container, and a wing was torn off.
“Can the plane fly with only one wing?” Mo Xian looked confused.
“Stop yelling!” The Xichi Spiritual Master couldn’t bear it anymore. At this moment, the plane was wildly crashing into cargo containers in many ways, spinning and turning out of control. It now even lost the propeller.
“Now, it’s like a bald chicken.” Yue Yan had tears on her face.
“Hey! Why are you still alive?” Mo Xian looked at Yue Yan who was still talking weakly in a puddle of blood on the ground.
“Help me up, Senior Sister. I still can kill a couple of them!” Lying in the plane, Yue Yan said bravely while eating snacks.
“…”
Boom!
The plane exploded.
Soon, the joyous team of four for the Prison Break Job sent the message, [The team for the new job, Prison Break, needs an old driver who can fly planes! Three waiting on one!]
“Senior Sister, why can’t I go with you?’
Mo Xian said, “Junior Sister, you are bad! What can you do except lie there and eat snacks?”
“Master can’t fly the plane! It’s not my fault!”
The Xichi Spiritual Master: “…”
“Junior Sister, you are bad; how dare you blame our master! Are you tired of living?!”
Then, Mo Xian came to Mr. Fang’s seat and asked, “Sir, do you know how to fly planes?”
“Of course.” Mr. Fang pointed at the screen. “The new job, Prison Break, needs someone who can after all. We have three and are waiting on one!”
“You have three people already?” Looking at the screen, Mo Xian saw Mr. Fang indeed had two teammates now. One was a white-clothed girl who was about 16 years old; she looked cold, and her ID was ‘Nalan’.
The other was…
Looking at the curvy female who was in tight-fitting clothes and had exquisite brown hair and green eyes, she cussed in her head, “Demonic woman!”
“Senior Sister, are you coming?” Liu Ningyun called out.
“You guys go ahead. I’ll play one with Mr. Fang and learn how to fly planes!”
“You’re going to play with Mr. Fang?!”
Yue Yan chirped, “How can you dump us?!”
She stared at Mr. Fang’s screen and murmured, “You even play with this…”
She murmured to herself after returning to her seat, “You even play with this demonic woman!”
“Nonsense! I’m just playing with Mr. Fang!”
“Mr. Fang is going to do the new job?” Liu Ningyun frowned. “Should we go and watch him play it?”
The Xichi Spiritual Master said while nodding, “Is it possible that Mr. Fang knows how to fly a plane?”
Yue Yan chimed in, “Then, I’ll go and watch as well.”

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
