Black Tech Internet Cafe System Chapter 610 – The Small Shop That No One Will Visit
Translator: Noodletown Translations Editor: Noodletown Translations
On this continent, no one liked assassins; they were instinctively repulsed by them.
The kind and elegant elves who loved life and freedom had the same feelings about assassins.
The assassins had no faith and wouldn’t be blessed by gods.
They were like the outcasts of the world. In the courtyard inside the Judgement Godly Palace in Gray Eagle City, the blood-colored setting sun shined on the figures who scrambled away with wounded bodies, putting an end to this failed assassination attempt.
…
– The next day, in Canglan City –
Cute pigeons always gathered on White Pigeon Square. Fearless of strangers, they rested on the shoulders of people who sat around on the square. The people here were good to these birds and would bring some grains with them to feed these cute creatures.
“Oh! I’m sorry, brothers.” In an alley outside White Pigeon Square, a figure stood in the shadow habitually. He watched the bustling crowds on the square in a daze.
His eyes looked helpless and sad. After praying to an unknown god silently, he hurried away.
…
A red-haired woman sat on a long bench on the square with the balmy breeze brushing her pale face under the sun. She raised her hand to fix her hair that was being fluttered by the wind while the white pigeon flapped its wings and left her palm.
…
Elves usually lived much longer than humans.
That was why they seldom made friends with humans. Except for the true masters, their friendships were usually established with the old and dying human seniors.
Elves had always hated wars and killing. However, they weren’t brainless and didn’t oppose it all the time. When it was necessary, they would pick up swords and protect themselves.

Sala was calculating the days before her return.
I wonder if this damn small shop will release Assassin’s Creed before I go back, she thought resentfully. She had never seen a shop that showed things but wouldn’t let customers buy it.
“Does the owner know how to make money or not?” She stomped her foot in a huff, deciding that if the shop didn’t release the game before she returned to Silver Moon Forest, she wouldn’t give her money to this shop.
Humph!
…
The mercenaries of the Mercenary Union were a big group of ordinary people whose spending level wasn’t too low. Therefore, they were probably the biggest group of customers of cultivation mystical realms.
They also visited some little-known cultivation mystical realms for the lower prices, which was something that aristocrats wouldn’t do.s
At this moment, a few mercenaries walked out of the tavern of their union.
The news that a small shop was going to release a mystical realm featuring assassins had become a popular topic among them.
“Hey! Did you hear that a small shop in the city will release a new mystical realm focusing on assassins?”
“Assassins? Are you sure? Does the shop owner hope that assassins will enter his mystical realm for cultivation?” a mercenary laughed.
“If any assassin dares to show up, I’m afraid that this person will be kicked out of the city before he can enter the shop,” another person said with a smirk.
“By the way, I heard that the Dulan Workshop is going to release a new cultivation mystical realm soon.”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course. I went to the area near the godly palace yesterday and heard lots of news.”
“Should we go and check it out?”
“Sure. Let’s go now.”

…
In fact, not only mercenaries but the lofty knights of Golden Griffin Knight Legion were anticipating the new mystical realm that would soon be released by Dulan Workshop, even though they couldn’t see the beautiful Ms. Jessica and the elegant Mr. Carl this time. After all, they had all become janitors in an unknown small shop.
People had great expectations toward this new mystical realm.
They came very early and waited in the grand hall of the godly palace.
“Oh, I admit that the cultivation mystical realm in Origins Internet Café is excellent, but the quality of the products of Dulan Workshop is always guaranteed.” Legion Commander Elven shrugged and said, “We must come here and check it out.”
He seemed to be murmuring to himself, but it also seemed like he was talking to Helen and the other knights of the legion.
At this moment, a middle-aged man wearing a priest robe was presenting something with great passion in the front of the hall.
“I think this is the best cultivation mystical realm that our Dulan Workshop has ever built.” In the Spiritual Spell Visual Projection, a bright-looking young man was sitting cross-legged on a strange stone array disk which emitted pale blue light that followed complicated patterns.
It seemed to be the inside of a tower, and there were stone steps leading up.
While the array light flowed, the scene before the audience gradually became a vast forest as if they had been teleported to the forest. Beyond the forest, people could see the vague outer shapes of a big city and godly palaces. It looked extremely real.
Of course, only big workshop such as Dulan Workshop could make such exquisite scenes. No other cultivation mystical realms could do the same.
“As you know, there are many excellent mystical realms in Canglan City. Are you sure that the new mystical realm can stand out from the rest?” A mage of Alchemist Union stood with the white-robed man.
“Of course. I believe that this mystical realm will create a new trend in the entire city,” the middle-aged priest introduced the mystical realm with great passion.
“It’s said that this new mystical realm has some contents on how to deal with assassins?”
“Yes. The anti-assassination portion of the new mystical realm is taken from a classic anti-assassination battle. You’re right; it comes from the attempted assassination of Mr. St. Dulan. I believe it will teach people who cultivate in this mystical realm how to handle the sneak-attacks of those stealthy people.”
“In this anti-assassination battle, can we choose to be a participating knight and even execute the whole anti-assassination plan?”
“Of course.” The middle-aged priest said naturally. “We always strive to do the best.”
“What do you think of the rumor that a shop in the city plans to release Assassin’s Creed?” Obviously, the news about the imminent mystical realm featuring assassins had spread to this high-level official of the Alchemist Union.
“Assassins?” The middle-aged man in the priest robe said with a smile, “Do you guys think anyone would want to become a filthy and pathetic person who can only sneak-attack from dark corners?”
His words instantly made a lot of people laugh.
“I think the creator of that mystical realm is probably crazy; I don’t think people will visit such a shop.”

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
