Marriage of convenience was something that was only done for formality . In name, they were husband and wife . But, there was no real substance to it . And in terms of physical or wealth status, neither party would get involved with the other—they would still be individuals .

Most people that would go through something like that were homosexuals .

After all, it was a single man and a single woman .
