After Su Qianxun left the Lu residences, she quickly drove back home . Upon arriving, she immediately chugged a glass of cold water down her throat .

She lay on her soft sofa and closed her eyes and tried to relax . She heaved a long sigh and had a tired expression etched on her face .

‘What is wrong with me? Why am I so afraid?’ Su Qianxun wasn’t even sure what was wrong with herself .

‘Could it really be as what Lu Yanzhi claimed? That I was jealous? How could it be? It has been long since I had feelings for him, and now I really don’t love him . So, why? Why did I feel uncomfortable when I saw Lu Yanzhi and Shen Yoren together?’

I said that Grandpa wouldn’t care about the so-called blood relations and told them not to harm other people but they refuse to listen . Now that things have turned out this way, I have no other way too . I wanted to protect them after the incident and hide everything but my actions connive them instead . To be honest, it was my fault . Sorry, Little aunt,” said Su Wencheng .

Although he said that the fault was on him, if one listened carefully, he had cleared himself from all the incidents and made himself seem like a helpless bystander .

Su Qianxun probed, “You, why did you call me?”

“He’s fine…” replied Su Qianxun in an indifferent manner before pausing and added, “He doesn’t have to be angry at you and your gang anymore since Grandpa’s health has never been better . ”
