The Numbers That Brought Our Fates Together Chapter 105: There's a Big Surprise For You.
Elena took a deep breath and tried to collect her thoughts. The main thing that she now needed was to get out of here as soon as possible. She looked around,
"Where's my phone?"
"Are you asking about this one?" Rick took her phone out of his pocket and began to fumble it in his hands.
"Give it back. I have to make a call."
"And who are you going to call? David? Ah, honey, in my opinion, you do not understand the seriousness of the situation which you turned out to be in. Oh, how cute, he already called you more than fifty times. So persistent," Rick grinned and turned off her phone.
"You know, I was always surprised by his perseverance. No matter was it then, or now. The only thing is that he is not lucky with relatives. Even in this life, his own brother sold him. What irony, right?"
"What do you mean?" Elena became alert when she heard his words.
"Daniel, his older brother, came to me recently and handed me a very interesting document. Did you know that David gave him almost all his shares of Greenline Inc. so that he would refuse to engage with Corey?" Rick began to shine when he saw the girl's surprised face.
"This fool, apparently, beginning from his past life, has got a habit to sacrifice everything for you. So naive. Considering that these shares now belong to me," the man stretched on his chair with a happy face and got up.
Elena's thoughts became chaotic. Even then, the whole situation with an engagement seemed to very strange her, but what the way how fast this matter was resolved was even more strange. So, by asking for help, she left David with Hobson's choice, as a result of which he lost his shares. Then there was this whole media situation, her fake engagement with Rick, her last conversation with David.
Elena felt her head was about to explode now. Everything that happened in the last three months began to take shape in one big picture. The puzzles, which previously seemed scattered, supplemented each other, and this awareness made goose bumps run on her back.
And what did David feel all this time? When she pushed him, doubted him, even reached the point that she was aiming at him with a pistol? Her heart sank from these thoughts.

"What do you want from us?" She asked the man who came to the table to turn off the melody that was playing all the time.
"Correction, my little kitten, not from you and David, but from you only," Rick replied. He approached her and cast a cold glance at the girl. Elena pressed her knees to her chest and moved to the far end of the bed. "I need all the data from the scrolls that you decyphered."
"What? What kind of scrolls?" Elena pretended not to understand what it was about.
Rick frowned, "Honey, let's not complicate the situation. You know perfectly well what I am talking about."
"Then you also know perfectly well what I am talking about! You saw these scrolls! It was impossible for me to remember them all then!" Elena yelled. "Why do you need all this? So much time has passed! Now the world is different, everything is different! No one will let you behave like that!"
The corners of the man's lips snapped up, "No one will let me, you say? And whose permission should I ask for this?" He put his knee on the edge of the bed and began to approach the girl, "If I want to do something with you right now, do you think someone will stop me?"
"You will not dare…," Elena felt anxiety growing in her chest.
"Do you want to check?" Rick grinned, and the girl bounced off to the other end of the bed, but before she could get up, he grabbed her arm and pulled sharply toward her. Elena turned around to hit him in the head with her elbow, but the young man was faster and stronger. He grabbed both her hands and brought them to the girl's back, then he crushed her to the bed.
Elena felt the weight of his body on her back. She was blocked and could not even move. When she felt his breath next to her ear, an unpleasant shiver went all over her body.
Rick ran his nose down her neck and whispered, "You'd better not twitch. It is completely useless."
"Get off me now, you bastard," Elena hissed back.
The man grinned wickedly, "What is it? Do you like it when you are on top? But your girlfriend loves it when I take her from behind. You know, she moans so sweetly every time I go into her."
"Leave these details with you! Don't even talk about Corey!" Elena was furious. From the thought that her best friend was deceived by this man's deceitful mask, she wanted to tear him apart.

"Oh, talk of the devil," Rick pulled a phone from his back pocket and saw the incoming call. It was Corey. "Be quiet," he threatened Elena and turned on the speakerphone. "Darling, good morning! I'm so glad to hear you!"
Elena did not believe her ears. This is how much this man was two-faced! He lay on top of her and talked to his "girlfriend" as if she were the most precious treasure in his life. His voice was full of tenderness. Even his smile at this moment could charm anyone who saw him.
"Rick, good morning! I haven't seen you just for a night, but I already missed you!" Corey's joyful voice sounded on the telephone.
"My dear, I also want to see you as soon as possible. By the way, did you pack all the things?"
"Yes, everything is ready. I can travel even now," Corey replied with enthusiasm.
"Well done! I'm also looking forward to our trip. By the way, Elena will also go with us. She wants to take her mind off everything that has happened lately," Rick said and cast a malicious look at Elena.
What was this idiot up to? What trip is he talking about? The girl looked at him in disbelief but remained silent. She didn't want Corey to hear how close she and Rick were at the moment.
"So she didn't patch things up with David," Corey commented sadly.
"Don't worry, dear. That is why I called her to come with us. You'll definitely be able to cheer her up. And I'll deal with David myself later," Rick replied and winked at Elena. She frowned and turned away.
"Okay, my beloved Corey. I need to finish some things. See you soon! Kisses! Muah!" The man, saying these words, touched Elena's cheek with his lips and hung up. The girl immediately wiped her cheek on the bed.
"Well, don't you be so obstinate. Let's have fun while we have time." His cold lips touched her neck, and his hand slid down the girl's back, "Where do you like to be caressed? In honor of our reunion, I am even ready to be more gentle with you."
"Let me go now!" Elena was covered in a wave of disgust at his every touch. She hoped that it was another dirty joke, but with every second the fear that the man was in a serious mood, only grew.
Rick looked at the trembling girl beneath him, and an unexpected thought occurred to him, "Just don't tell me… are you still a virgin?"
"This does not concern you, jerk!"
"Ahahaha, I can't believe it. You turn out to be a cruel woman, Elena. To torture a man like this. Ah, poor David. Somehow I even felt sorry for him," Rick laughed out loud. That he did not expect. To his surprise, this couple had an overly reverent attitude to each other even in this life.
"What do you think, how will he react when he finds out that I have rooted out his flower, which he was protecting and cherishing so diligently?"
"If you touch me with just your finger, he will kill you," the girl replied in all seriousness.
"Do you rely on him that much? This morning, he will find out that his business no longer belongs to him. He will be left with nothing. Do you think he will have time to deal with you? Until he solves the matters of the company, we will be far away, my dear. So get ready for my company. And everything else, too." Rick smacked Elena in the back of her head and got out of bed.
Elena got from the bed immediately and moved away from Rick as far as possible. An unexpected knock at the door made her flinch.
"Come in," the young man commanded.
"Master, all documents and tickets are ready. We can leave," Alan reported and cast a glance, full of irritation, at Elena.
"Great, Alan. Thank you for your prompt work. Make sure Miss Lee doesn't do anything stupid on the way," Rick took the documents from his hands and left the room. Alan walked over to Elena and grabbed her by the elbow, pulling her out of the room.
"Let me go, I can go on my own," Elena said and snatched her hand from the man. Alan did not answer and followed her indifferently.
"Where are you taking me?" the girl asked.
Rick turned and said with a contented smile, "You will soon find out, kitten. Anyway, I need to motivate you so you can recall the information I need. You'll see, there's a big surprise waiting for you," the young man winked wickedly and his stinging laugh filled the gray and dim corridor.
