The Numbers That Brought Our Fates Together Chapter 157: Illogical Feelings.
Irritation. Is that what people call this feeling? For someone who knows no emotions, it is illogical to experience something like that, right? Or is it not an irritation? Then what is it? What is this feeling?
. . .
A man was heading for the appointed room like a ghost, walking barely audibly. He needed to accomplish another task, as quickly and without a trace, as he had done more than once during the past five years. What he did before and who he was, he was not aware, and, not particularly interested. All he knew was that if the Master gave the order, then it should be executed without delay. The only important rule, in addition to the successful task accomplishment, was – no witnesses.
The necessary room was already visually accessible, as unwanted noise distracted his attention. The man noticed a couple of people and immediately took a step back, hiding around the corner leading into the next corridor. 'It's probably more convenient to teleport immediately to the place,' he thought.
"Daniel, where are we-"
A clear female voice made him stand still. Without knowing why, Rick turned and looked out from around the corner. A man who he had never seen was leading a woman by her hand. He has never seen that woman in his life, yet as soon as his gaze fell on her, he could not look away.
He needed to complete the task before no one noticed his presence, and while the object he needed was in the room to which he had originally been sent. But all he did was stand still and watch as two adults enjoyed a passionate kiss.
The woman's hands hugged the man by the neck, she ran her fingers through his hair and pressed her body against him. At that moment, inexplicable emotions began to fill Rick from the inside. Anger, rage, irritation? Irritation. Is that what people call this feeling? But why?

He continued to look at the couple. They seemed to be enjoying what they were doing and did not notice his gaze. He did not understand what was happening to him, but he understood that he did not like it.
'Look at me.'
He thought, looking at the girl in the arms of another man, and he himself was taken aback by his thoughts. 'What the?!' He wanted to turn away, but the man opposite changed his position and began to caress the neck of the woman, purring something in her ear. She laughed slightly and tilted her head, it was obvious that these touches gave her pleasure.
Rick felt his palms begin to clench into fists, the strongest stone would crumble into small pieces if it was in his hands now. He looked at her closed eyes and slightly open mouth, a little more, and the woman would make a moan full of pleasure.
Annoying! Rage boiled inside him.
'Look at me!'
The girl, as if hearing his thoughts, opened her eyes and their eyes met.
In that instant, he felt himself sinking. Or rather, flying? Her eyes, the colors of a clear blue sky, bound every cell of his body, another second of that look — and he could no longer move. The man took a breath and disappeared into the air.
Leaning against the cold wall, he exhaled slowly. 'What was that?!' The thoughts in his head came into a mess, but the strange rustling in the room brought him to his senses. All the emotions that were before have disappeared, and in his eyes, there was nothing left but a cold and lifeless look.
Right in front of Rick was the object of his mission. A man and a woman were happily chitchatting with each other in a very compromising posture.
"Ohoho, Philip, wait, let's not do it here. My husband is in the hall, I can't be absent for a long time," the woman groaned in a seductive voice.

"How about meeting with me tonight, when your old fart falls asleep?" Philip Carter grinned, he had long wanted to seduce a young wife of an elderly congressman to supplement his collection of women's trophies. To charm a girl was never a problem for him, but he was especially pleased when a woman belonging to another man got into his network. And married ladies were in high esteem for him.
"You are too noisy." An unfamiliar voice from the side forced the couple to interrupt their intimate conversation. The woman screamed in surprise, Philip turned around and looked at Rick with annoyance, "Who are you?! Get the hell out of-"
No sooner had the man finished the sentence when the dart hit him in the neck, he twitched and fell unconscious on the woman lying under him. The failed lover was looking at Carter with horror, she began to push his body from herself, but the man's weight was too big for her frail figure. At that moment, something pricked her hand, and the woman's consciousness faded just like her partner's.
Rick sighed, the silence was much more pleasant for him. He went to the unconscious people, took his darts and put them in his pocket. Then he took a small object that looked like a scalpel from his pocket and made a barely visible cut at the base of the man's head where the hairline was. From another pocket, he pulled a box no larger than two cubic centimeters in size.
Scroop.
The man froze and listened to the surrounding sounds. Did the sight of that girl in the corridor knock him off balance so much that he didn't notice strangers in the room? Rick straightened up and looked around, he did not notice anything suspicious.
Scroop.
The man turned his head toward the window, the curtain swung slightly and froze. There was definitely someone there. He walked around the sofa, moving more silently like a mouse, like a ghost, almost without touching the floor surface.
The object that caught his attention was seemingly small in size, and Rick was not sure what it was. Maybe this is some kind of animal? A dog? And if not, if it is a man and he has a gun?
Rick looked around the space. There was little room for maneuver, although with his abilities this would not be a problem. It was possible to sharply open the curtain, but if this is a man and he has a weapon, then this may cause unnecessary noise. Master will be displeased.
There was only one thing left, to catch the uninvited witness off guard and quickly eliminate him in order to finish the main case.
He put a hand over his shoulder and squeezed his hand. It seems that the strange idea of his Master will come in handy today. The sword silently left the scabbard.
Swoosh!
The metal blade flashed and the curtain fell on the floor, becoming a trap for someone who hid behind it.
The unknown creature began to flounder under the heavy covers of cloth, Rick took a step back and aimed his weapon at the enemy. He had a sword in one hand and a gun in the other. Whoever that was, any witness must be destroyed on the spot.
The man held his breath and cocked the trigger.
From under the fabric, two small white shoes showed up, followed by a magnificent skirt. The girl removed the veil from her head and the blond curls fell like a waterfall on her shoulders, completely covering her back. The baby girl got on her feet and first of all, put her outfit in order. After making sure that everything was in order with the dress, she rubbed her still sleepy eyes with her fists and turned around.
A pair of sky-blue eyes, as pure and fascinating as those of that unfamiliar woman, looked Rick directly into his eyes.
"D-Dad?!"

But who can erase what is already written! Destiny created man and Jodha's destiny was attached to the Mughal Empire. This is the story of Princess Jodha of Amber and her husband, the Emperor of Hindustan, Jalal-uddin Muhammad Akbar.~A LITTLE BACKDROP TO THE HISTORICAL ACCURACY OF THE STORY:*This story is fictional. Emperor Akbar did rule India from 1556 to 1605 but he did never marry a woman named Jodha. His first Rajput wife and mother of his heir was Harkha Bai from Amber. In eighteenth century, a British official messed her name up when he first mentioned her as Jodha and then the name became even more popular because of mainstream media. This story does not intend to hurt any religious sentiments, it uses the name Jodha however because common people today know of Emperor Akbar's chief Rajput wife as Jodha Bai*Highest Ranking#1 in Jodha - August 6, '21#1 in Akbar - October 16, '21#1 in 16th - October 16, '21#1 in Jalal - November 14, '21#1 in Mughal - November 14, '21#2 in India - November 14, '21#1 in Princess - December 17, '21#1 in Historical Fiction - December 22, '21#4 in Century - January 5, '22#1 in Empress - May 17, '22
