Chapter 514 After All, I’m Not Some Evil
God
Yu Ding looked over and saw Li Changshou’s paper effigy. He smiled stiffly and bowed. This Perfected One was also an “honest person”. The first thing he did when they met was to express his intentions. He did not bother exchanging greetings. “Junior Brother Changgeng, do you have the battle techniques of the Magi for my disciple to cultivate?” Li Changshou turned around and smiled. “Senior Brother, let’s go to the inner hall to talk. Previously, Ling Zhuzi had cultivated with the Magi and obtained many Magi battle tactics. I have a few copies here. If they are insufficient, I will let the paper effigies in the Netherworld look for the Magi. Does Disciple-Nephew Yang Jian not cultivate Dharma spells?”
Perfected Yu Ding’s smile was a little… between embarrassment and shyness. Li Changshou felt that it was difficult to grasp it accurately.
The Perfected One said warmly, “The Eight-Nine Arcane Art focuses on the cultivation of the physical body. Although it also produces Dharma powers, their Dharma powers are a little mottled and not pure. My intention is to let Yang Jian dual cultivate his essence soul and body. Today, I have already figured out a Dao manual that does not conflict with the Eight-Nine Arcane Art. However, I still have to focus on the Eight-Nine Arcane Art.
However, when it comes to fights, the battle tactics of the Magi are naturally more compatible with the Eight-Nine Arcane Art.”
“I see.” Li Changshou invited Perfected Yu Ding to take a seat. He did not take the main seat and sat down on the round chair beside Perfected Yu Ding.
Li Changshou said, “Senior Brother, wait here for a while. Let me look for it.” “Okay.” Perfected Yu Ding agreed. He hesitated and said, “Is there anything I can do for the Magi?” Li Changshou smiled and said, “I’ll talk to you about this later. Senior Brother, don’t worry.” After saying that, Li Changshou closed his eyes and focused. He shifted his attention to his main body and searched his chest for a while before taking out two jade talismans. When he helped the Lady of Earth resolve the Seven Emotions Incarnation’s trap, he had obtained the “Magi Secret Tome”. There were many Magi tactics.
At that moment, he could give it to Perfected Yu Ding and let Yang Jian try out which set was more compatible with the Eight-Nine Arcane Art. In that case…
When he cultivated later, his efficiency would undoubtedly increase. Yun Xiao asked, “Is there anything troublesome?” “It’s just that Senior Brother Yu Ding came to find a few Magi battle techniques.” Li Changshou smiled and said, “They should be for Disciple-Nephew Yang Jian’s cultivation.”
As he spoke, Li Changshou had already made a backup copy of the jade token in his hand. He took out a paper effigy from his sleeve and controlled the paper effigy to grab the jade token firmly and use an escape technique to rush to the South Continent. Fairy Yun Xiao asked gently, “Are you so concerned about Fairy Yun Hua’s children because of the Jade Emperor’s decree?”
“That’s not the Jade Emperor’s intention.”
Li Changshou smiled. At that moment, he and Yun Xiao were sitting on two meditation cushions in the shade of a tree. Not far away, there was a scholar scratching his head by the river. Li Changshou sighed softly. His eyes were filled with warmth.
“I can’t always be busy in the Heavenly Courts. After the Heavenly Courts get on the right track and the world returns to order, I will return to the forest. At that time, there will have to be one or two successors to assist the Jade Emperor and govern the Three Realms.

Yang Jian’s nature is upright and strong. He also has a tenacious Dao heart. He has been outstanding since he was young. He is the best choice to take over my class.
If I have a choice, I actually don’t want to leave the Little Qiong Peak…”
Yun Xiao asked gently, “Is it because of the situation?”
“Actually, I want to be more stable.” Li Changshou sighed and said, “Since I’m in the world, I can’t help but be influenced by the world. Although I have the intention to avoid the world and cultivate, I’m not strong enough. Everything is between giving up and obtaining. Fortunately, I walked out at that time and saw the wonders of the Primordial World. I saw the nature of the living beings that could only be looked up to…” Li Changshou paused and stared into Yun Xiao’s eyes. He smiled and said, “I saw Fairy Yun Xiao’s anger, joy, and joy. I saw how you, a senior expert, messed up my mind and worsened my worries.” Yun Xiao lowered her head and looked away. She whispered, “Then I won’t disturb your heart if I come to see you less in the future…” A finger reached out from the side and stopped three inches in front of her lips. The fairy could not help but look in the direction of the finger. She saw that Li Changshou was looking at it from the side. His eyes were clear and pure, but they were also filled with warmth.
Yun Xiao suddenly realized that his voice had subconsciously filled her mind. “My thoughts are moving. I’m worried about my wishes.”
She did not know what was wrong with her. Her mind was empty. In the emptiness, images flashed across her mind. They reflected his face, his profile, his joy and bitterness… “Yun Xiao?”
Li Changshou called softly, but his voice was unprecedentedly gentle.
At that moment, Yun Xiao realized that her Dao heart was actually a little lost. Furthermore, she did not resist it and was willing to continue immersing herself.
Even if she was otherworldly, she would not be able to control herself.
Even if she lacked that desire, she was afraid that she would not be able to reject him.
In her daze, she felt that the face was getting closer and closer to her. Her Dao heart was light, ethereal, and filled with anticipation. However, there was also a hint of uneasiness that she did not want to leave.
Just as she was experiencing such a wonderful state of mind, she did not have time to do anything. There were only a few inches between the two of them.
That was…
“Lord Water God, I choose third!”
By the river, the soul of the scholar gritted his teeth and stomped his feet. He turned around and shouted with his eyes closed.
However, he felt that the atmosphere was a little strange. When he opened his eyes, he saw that the entire ghost was much more ethereal…
Eh?
Under the tree, the scene froze.
The scholar saw that the Water God, who had maintained his youthful appearance, had a different expression. He was leaning sideways and his upper body was leaning forward. He was… Hehe, he was very close.
The fairy that the scholar could not see clearly previously revealed her true appearance. She was unparalleled on the ground and in the sky. She was cold and beautiful.
The problem was that the Water God was so close to the fairy. He seemed to want to…
The scholar would call it “getting intimate” though the formal term for it was “consummate their marriage”. There were many other terms for it.

Elegant, really elegant.
However… the atmosphere seems to be off…
The scholar suddenly felt a murderous aura. He immediately shouted at the two figures who seemed to have frozen under the tree. “This, this! I didn’t see anything!” Yun Xiao’s face was instantly flushed red. White light flashed around her and she disappeared. Li Changshou calmly performed a non-true performance of “helping others tidy their hair.” Behind him, he smiled and calmly stood up to look at the scholar by the river. “Have you chosen? Hehe.”
Gulp!
The scholar’s soul trembled slightly and he hurriedly said, “Lord Water God, I didn’t do it on purpose. I did not mean to spy on you and Fairy…” “It’s fine, it’s fine.” Li Changshou squinted and smiled. He walked towards the scholar’s soul step by step and said, “It’s my fault. I couldn’t help it. I didn’t think that it would be inappropriate because it’s broad daylight. After all, I’m not some evil god. Don’t be afraid.”
The scholar was about to cry. When he was alive, he had been whipped by life until he was covered in wounds. How could he not know that the Water God was on the verge of anger?
The scholar’s legs went weak and he knelt down. However, Li Changshou grabbed the scholar’s arm and rode a cloud towards a large city not far away. The city was bustling with noise and excitement. A huge river flowed quietly by the side of the city. The sky was starry. Li Changshou smiled and said, “Look, this is Land A. It’s also the first option you were given.” The scholar blinked. “But you didn’t choose it.” Li Changshou said warmly. The scholar immediately cried and tried his best to squeeze out a smile.
Then, Li Changshou brought the scholar to the northern border of the South Continent and found the second river.
The scenery here was abnormally beautiful. There were groups of fairies by the side. There were also many beautiful female spiritual bodies playing in the water. It was really a paradise on earth. “Look, this is Land B. It’s also your second option.”
The scholar looked at the beautiful scenery and could not help but pout. He muttered, “But I didn’t choose…”
Li Changshou continued to squint and smile. “This is probably fate. If you lose this fate, you will lose such benefits. After all, if I become the River God here, I might be able to develop a wonderful friendship with many elves.” The scholar silently clutched his chest and asked softly, “Aren’t you not angry…” “Oh? Why would I be angry? Let’s go. I’ll bring you to Land C.”
Not long after, Li Changshou brought the scholar to a place near the capital of a merchant tribe. He raised his hand and pointed at the scholar’s forehead, letting the scholar see the vast luck gathered there. “This is Land C This is where the destiny of the human race gathers. If you cultivate well here, you might be able to become an immortal and become a legitimate god in the future.” The scholar could not help but be stunned. He looked at Li Changshou, touched. “Lord, you, you are really more magnanimous than the sea. I disturbed you when you were enjoying, but you actually…” Li Changshou still squinted and smiled. He slowly turned his head. “However, I’ve changed my mind now.”
“Huh?”
Hence, four hours later.
In a desolate mountain in the southeast of the South Continent, there was a winding river and a few villages that were not crowded.
A certain scholar stood in the river with a blank expression.
The thumb-sized “seal” in his hand emitted warmth, but it could not warm his cold heart.
“From today onwards, you will be the River God of this river. I hope that you work hard to benefit others, transfer the river water, resist the disasters, and prevent droughts. When your merit is fulfilled, you can naturally rise.” At that moment, the seal flickered slightly. A simple wooden bridge was built on the river, and a palm-sized temple was formed under the bridge. The River God of the newly-advanced human race was speechless. He sighed in his heart. After all, I’m not an evil god.
In the Sea God Temple, Li Changshou’s paper effigy had already rushed over and handed the jade talisman to Perfected Yu Ding. In order to make it easier for them to communicate and not cause Perfected Yu Ding to panic, Li Changshou put away a paper effigy and introduced the battle techniques in the jade token with a smile. Perfected Yu Ding said in a low voice, “I don’t know how to thank you, Junior Brother.” “Ah, it’s a small matter, a small matter.” Li Changshou smiled and waved his hand. Then, he recalled that he had just… He could not help but sigh and sit there in a daze.
It was really difficult to encounter such a situation.
The ambiance had to be good, the feelings had to be in place, and the shadows had to be harmonious. Moreover, there had to be topics that touched each other’s hearts. It could be said that everything was in place. Li Changshou did not plan for that. He just suddenly felt that way and followed the feeling. Didn’t that indecisive fellow have a difficulty with choosing? Why?! He cursed using Ren School’s vulgarities. Perfected Yu Ding asked, “Are there any difficulties?” “Ah, no.” Li Changshou hurriedly said, “It’s just that I was a little reluctant to part with Fairy Yun Xiao just now. I’ve embarrassed myself.” Perfected Yu Ding smiled and said, “I really envy you and Senior Sister Yun Xiao. If the two of you are in love, you should be harmonious and beautiful.” “Thank you, Senior Brother.” Li Changshou cupped his hands and thought about it. Then, he sighed and said, “Senior Brother, did you hear the news? That red lotus entered the Jade Void Palace.”
Perfected Yu Ding said, “Did something go wrong?” “That’s right.” Li Changshou frowned and said, “After wiping out the remnant soul of Patriarch Nether River, the Grandmaster of Heaven wanted to use the red lotus to suppress the luck of Jie School. However, the red lotus could not withstand it and collapsed…” “Oh?”
Perfected Yu Ding pinched his fingers and deduced. He frowned and pondered for a while. He said, “In that case, the calamity of Jie School far exceeds our expectations.” “I have the same premonition…”
Li Changshou changed the topic and asked, “When the red lotus was destroyed by Patriarch Nether River, there were three lotus seeds. One was in the Western Sect and the other was in Jie School. I’ve seen them with my own eyes. Senior Brother, have you heard of anyone who took away the third red lotus seed back then?” Perfected Yu Ding asked, “Do you suspect that someone tampered with the lotus seed?” “That’s right,” Li Changshou said seriously. “We can’t rule out that possibility. We still don’t know who threw the lotus seeds from the sea of blood.”
Perfected Yu Ding said in a low voice, “The four experts who appeared that day?” “I thought so too, but I vaguely feel that it’s not.” Li Changshou stood up and took a few slow steps. “This matter is very important. If someone really deliberately arranged this matter and is not the enemy we know of, we have to be wary of their intentions.”
“The great tribulation is a troubled period. Junior Brother is now in the middle of the three sects. You should take care.”
Perfected Yu Ding stood up and cupped his hands at Li Changshou. “I’ll go back and teach Yang Jian. Should we follow the original arrangements regarding Jian’er’s parents?” “That’s right,” Li Changshou said seriously. “The future pillars of the Heavenly Courts will depend on your guidance.” “Okay.”
Perfected Yu Ding nodded with a smile and placed the jade token into his sleeve. He bowed to Li Changshou and left on a cloud.
After sending Perfected Yu Ding off, Li Changshou stood quietly in front of the Grandmaster of Heaven’s painting The original owner of the third red lotus…
Scenes flashed across Li Changshou’s mind. The words ‘Chan School’ and ‘Jie School’ kept circling in his heart. In the end, he could only turn into a faint smile. His body burrowed underground and disappeared. The Sea God Sect no longer needed him to do anything. There was a selection and training institution for the Divine Envoys. Xiong Lingli’s father, Xiong Laosan, had also gained a lot of lifespan. He also had merit to protect him. That prevented Li Changshou from worrying about the Sea God Sect for the time being.
As for changing the name of the Sea God Sect…
Forget it. In the blink of an eye, he was going to advance from the Water God to the Moon Lord. When he perfected his Golden Body of Merit, he would leave the Sea God Sect to the dragon race. Li Changshou’s main body quietly returned to the Little Qiong Peak. He looked at Ling’e, who was comprehending and cultivating in the secret underground chamber, and went to the study to organize the matters regarding the Immortal Alliance and the Heaven Ascension Hall.
Three to five days passed. That day, Li Changshou’s communication jade token trembled slightly. Bai Ze had followed his instructions and rushed back to the Heaven Ascension Hall to report to Li Changshou that he was safe.
When Li Changshou left the Green Touring Palace, the Golden-Winged Roc was sent back to the Heavenly Courts’ Water God Residence. Bai Ze returned to the Trichiliocosm to hide. After all, he was an old auspicious beast. He was quite professional in recognizing the way. Li Changshou stretched his back and his heart skipped a beat. He thought of Ao Yi and the others transcending the vengeful spirits in the Netherworld and activated the “Little Judge” paper effigy in Fengdu City. He scanned with his immortal senses and realized that Ao Yi, Bian Zhuang, and Ling Zhuzi were still reciting the scriptures seriously… Bian Zhuang had improved a lot. To be safe, he should inform Ling Zhuzi to leave temporarily. He wanted to avoid interacting with Ao Yi more so that he would not be sad when they became enemies in the future.
Just as Li Changshou was about to send a voice transmission with his immortal senses, the immortal senses fluctuated to the ears of the three of them. They suddenly heard Bian Zhuang say, “Big Brother, Third Brother, after we transcend this place, we have to go to a good place to play for a few days to celebrate our marriage!” Ao Yi snorted. “Go to my house. Don’t think about abducting my third brother to your house!” Bian Zhuang smiled awkwardly and said, “Isn’t that because my family has more atmosphere? Isn’t that right, Third Brother?” Ling Zhuzi smiled foolishly.
Third Brother?
Li Changshou stood on the dim street of Fengdu City. The entire paper effigy was engulfed by the black line, and the restrictions were almost in chaos.
This…
What about Nezha’s story?
Could it be that I have to spar with the dragon race and perform the “pinnacle battle” with Ao Yi before I become an immortal?
Forget it, whatever. I should think about retiring early and getting out of this as soon as possible. Shaking his head, Li Changshou turned around and floated away. His face was filled with despair.
I know… I know…
When the sun was about to set, the sturdy woodcutter carried a huge bundle of firewood. There were two wild animals and an iron ax at his waist. He walked with tired steps to the river and suddenly stopped. “Why? Is there an additional wooden bridge?” The woodcutter chuckled. “I can save two steps.” After saying that, he stepped onto the wooden bridge happily. Unknowingly, Iron Axe at his waist suddenly slid down.
Dong! “Ah, it’s an ax passed down from my ancestors!”
The woodcutter shouted anxiously and put down the firewood. He was about to take off his clothes and jump down.
At this moment!
A layer of golden light suddenly appeared in the river. The handsome male god in the elegant robe slowly extended half of his body. Golden light brewed in his left hand, and his right hand shone with silver light.
“Foolish mortal ~ I’m the local River God ~ Do you want the golden ax in my left hand, the silver ax in my right hand, or the wooden ax that your ancestors passed down?”
The woodcutter was stunned. He looked at the golden ax and the silver ax. His Adam’s apple bobbed.
“I want my ancestral legacy…” “Hehe.” The River God squinted and smiled. The three axes in his hand suddenly disappeared. “I suddenly changed my mind. These are your new axes”
A ray of white light flashed and landed firmly in the woodcutter’s hand. The woodcutter focused and saw that there was an additional ax in his hand… There was a palm-sized stone slab tied with a straw rope above the rotten long wood.
Splash!
The woodcutter threw the stone ax in his hand and plunged into the river. “River God, screw you. I’m going to fight you! Return my ancestral ax to me!” “Ahahaha! After all, we’re not evil gods!”
Hence, the voice-over sounded— The River God and the Woodcutter had begun a happy and blissful life.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.

The Intelligent Ogre (Dropped for remake)
This novel is having a remake I will have it up soon. I decided to have a remake because when I read my story again it felt like I tried too hard to make it understandable (low English level) for all yet it just looked bad. So, I decided to start over and add a new beginning, characters descriptions, etc. Even the plot and system I made was changed. I hope to see you there.
