Chapter 666: It’s Him, It’s Him, It’s Him
Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios
“What’s wrong, Brother? Why did I feel that the Taiji Painting and the Saint’s Dao runes were fighting?”
Chentang Pass suddenly became lively.
A short battle that was not considered intense attracted the attention of many people. When many mighty figures and mystical abilities realized who was fighting, a few mighty figures rushed over without thinking.
For example, the blue light flashed and a window was torn open in the sky. A head popped out. It was handsome and had fluttering hair. It was naturally Zhao Gongming, who had rushed over with the Sea-Calming Divine Pearl.
At that moment, Li Changshou did not even have the time to send a voice transmission. He could only fly into the sky to welcome them.
Before he could say anything, a white cloud slowly condensed. A graceful and beautiful figure condensed inside. She held her hands in front of her and slowly walked over.
There was only one person in the world who was unlike a mortal or an immortal.
It was naturally Yun Xiao.
That was something that Li Changshou could not stop with his voice transmission.
Fairy Yun Xiao appeared too hasty. She did not hide her figure and flew to Li Changshou’s side. She whispered, “Why did you fight the Saint?”
The worry and reproach in his voice quickly swept away the gloom in Li Changshou’s heart.
Li Changshou smiled and said, “It’s just a small conflict. Don’t worry.”
“Well…”
Yun Xiao could not help but smile bitterly and sigh. “The Three-Immortal Island is in the East Ocean. Why didn’t you recruit me in advance?”
Li Changshou pointed at the figures in the pavilion. “It’s Ling Zhuzi.”
“Yes.” Yun Xiao immediately understood the implications and knew what was difficult for Li Changshou.
The Chan segments were divided.
Zhao Gongming hugged his arms and watched for a while. He smiled and said, “Since there’s nothing else, I’ll go back first. You guys chat.”
“Thank you for your concern, Brother.”
“Don’t stand on ceremony with me.”
Zhao Gongming waved his hand and hummed a tune as he rode away.
As soon as he left, a golden cloud appeared in the sky. The Heavenly Courts’ Marshal, Quan Dong, rushed over. Following that, there were golden rays that were filled with figures.
“Is Changgeng injured? The Saint of the Western Sect is not at peace! We really have to smash his spiritual mountain!”
The Heavenly Emperor was enraged.
Li Changshou smiled apologetically at Yun Xiao and hurriedly went forward to explain that he had only sparred with the Saint of the Western Sect and did not want to blow things up.
Quan Dong heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that Li Changshou was safe and sound. He calmed down and asked Li Changshou what had happened.
Li Changshou thought about it and used some words.
He sent a voice transmission. “Your Majesty, are you familiar with Li Jing’s family? If you’re not familiar with it, you can look through the Great Tribulation and see the heavenly secrets. Why would I be willing to face the Saint today and protect his family?”
Quan Dong’s heart skipped a beat. He pinched his fingers and deduced. Soon, he saw something. His eyes trembled, and he looked at Li Changshou, touched.
“Changgeng, you…”
“It’s a small matter, a small matter.” Li Changshou sent a voice transmission to persuade him. “Your Majesty, return to the Heavenly Courts first. It’s not appropriate for your incarnation to be exposed. I’ll settle the matters here first and report to you in detail.”

Quan Dong nodded and said in a low voice, “It’s been hard on Changgeng. If another Saint attacks, don’t face him alone. I have a way to fight the Saint.”
“Thank you for your concern, Your Majesty. We still have to respect the Saint.”
When Quan Dong left, his eyes were filled with sorrow.
He suddenly understood.
After the Great God-Conferment Tribulation, Changgeng had no choice but to leave the Heavenly Courts. Otherwise, his glory would surpass that of the Heavenly Emperor.
Changgeng was worried about the Heavenly Courts and was worried that he would not be able to help. First, it was Yang Jian and then Li Jing’s family. He had really put in a lot of effort and worried about the Heavenly Courts.
The Celestial Thearch thought about how Changgeng had been running around for the sake of the Heavenly Courts’ prosperity. When Changgeng fought with the Saints,he had been listening to songs and dancing dully while being loving and intimate with his junior sister.
Um…
“Continue playing and dancing.”
The Jade Emperor’s expression softened slightly. He said calmly and continued to watch the dance guiltily.
A fairy beside him peeled the jade grape with her soft, fair fingers and brought it to the Jade Emperor’s mouth. The Jade Emperor swallowed it in shame and continued to torture himself with boredom.
It was really hard to be a Heavenly Emperor. The dullness and pain during the period was very obvious.
…
Half a day later, at the bottom of the pavilion in the backyard of the Li Residence.
Li Changshou did not let Yun Xiao stay there for long. He made an appointment with Yun Xiao to meet up at the Three-Immortal Island after this wave. Then, he asked her to return to the island and continue her seclusion.
After saying goodbye, the two of them did not seem too close.
After Yun Xiao left, seven to eight experts found her. There were Daoists from Jie School and Yun Zhongzi from Chan School.
Li Changshou faced both sides alone.
He naturally downplayed the matter regarding Jie School. He said that Ling Zhuzi was close to him and had been schemed against by the Saint of the Western Sect.
He had exaggerated the matter regarding Chan School. He said that the Saint of the Western Sect had deliberately tainted Ling Zhuzi with his murderous aura, causing the originally gentle and elegant Ling Zhuzi to become a fire-element array formation that could explode with a single point.
He was only waiting for the Great God-Conferment Tribulation. Then, he would use such a pawn to let Chan School and Jie School fight.
Yun Zhongzi… seemed to believe it.
He came down to visit his two fellow disciples and Li Jing’s family. He expressed his condolences to Li Jing’s family and hurriedly returned to the Jade Void Palace to report this matter to Guang Chengzi and the South Pole Immortal.
After Yun Zhongzi left, Chentang Pass finally quietened down.
Li Jing issued a simple military order and ordered people to put up a notice. He told the people that an old demon that had not appeared in the world for a thousand years had attacked Chentang Pass. Fortunately, an immortal helped him resist this attack.
They had already fallen out with each other. There was no need to care about the words. The most important thing was to calm the hearts of the people.
Li Jing did not dare to delay. After doing that, he rushed back to Lady Yin.
At that moment, he was standing by the side with Lady Yin. He looked at Li Changshou and then at Perfected Taiyi. He did not know what to say.

The atmosphere was a little gloomy.
Yang Jian hugged his spear and leaned against the door. He looked at the clouds in the distance and seemed to be thinking about some bigger proposals.
Clouds, mountains, life, and so on.
The three immortals in the hall remained silent. Perfected Yu Ding’s injuries were rather serious. He had already used the Spirit Pills that Li Changshou had given him, so he was naturally fine. He only needed to recuperate in a few years.
Yang Jian suddenly asked, “Are we going to let this matter go?”
Perfected Taiyi pursed his lips and cursed, “The Saint of the Western Sect doesn’t even want his pride anymore. What can we do? We can’t beat him. We can only curse and vent our anger here.”
Li Changshou said in a low voice, “Teacher has already taught the Saint of the Western Sect a lesson. However, I’m afraid that he will not remember. The Great Sage had tacitly agreed that the Little Saint was fooling around. This meant that the Western Sect’s strategy had already turned into an active intervention in the Great God-Conferment Tribulation. It was still the direct intervention of the Saint. That’s what we need to worry about the most.”
Perfected Taiyi wanted to say something but hesitated. Then, he sighed softly.
Yang Jian asked, “Why can’t our Chan School fight on the spiritual mountain?”
“Because we’re the ones begging them now!”
Perfected Taiyi gritted his teeth and said. Then, he flicked his sleeve and did not say anything.
Li Changshou said, “Yang Jian, don’t just take things at face value. The superficial truth is often faked through layers of lenses. You have to look at the essence of the problem. There are many things that you cannot just feel but have to understand. Just like now… Let me test you. Why is Chan School so passive?”
Perfected Taiyi was at a loss whether to laugh or cry. Perfected Yu Ding opened his eyes and looked at Yang Jian.
Yang Jian pondered for a while and said in a low voice, “Now, the Western Sect has been eliminated in advance. There are too many disciples who have died. There is also a great destiny. The Heavenly Dao will not allow the Western Sect to be destroyed. Therefore, the two Saints of the Western Sect began to attack without restraint. They did not care about their pride. As for why Chan School is passive… Just as Uncle-Master had said, Chan School needs help from the Western Sect. If we do not borrow the power of the two Saints, it would be difficult to balance the situation between Chan and Jie Schools. When the killing tribulation reaches its peak, Chan School would almost definitely lose. It still boils down to the fundamental problem. The teachings of Chan School are different. The number of immortals on both sides is too different.”
Li Changshou nodded slowly and smiled.
“That’s indeed the case. You understand it well.
Since you understand that, don’t always say those impulsive words. You should be more stable. There’s not much time left for you to grow.”
Yang Jian looked ashamed and lowered his head to bow.
Perfected Yu Ding revealed a satisfied smile. He slowly closed his eyes and continued to adjust his breathing.
Li Jing said carefully, “Godfather, how is my wife now?”
“Ah, come and sit.” Li Changshou smiled and said, “When I use my original appearance, don’t call me that. You look much older than me now.”
Li Jing smiled awkwardly and hurriedly helped his wife forward and sat beside Li Changshou.
Lady Yin was still a little confused. At that moment, she raised her hand to cover her abdomen and was a little lost.
She only slept for a while. Why did she feel that the world had changed? When she woke up, she was covered in sweat. She sensed that she had given birth to a new little fellow.
Li Jing said, “Thank you, Lord Taibai Jinxing and the two immortals, for your help this time.”
Perfected Taiyi pursed his lips and Perfected Yu Ding nodded slowly.
Li Changshou smiled and said, “Why don’t you think that we brought trouble to your family?”
“Well…”
Li Jing said in a low voice, “I only know that the child in my wife’s stomach is the reincarnation of the disciple of Taiyi of Chan School. I’m not too sure about the rest. Lord Taibai Jinxing, I have been in the mortal world for a long time. I really can’t see through the current situation of the world. Why did the Saint of the Western Sect harm my wife and child?”
“To a large extent, you’re taking revenge on me.” Li Changshou sighed and said, “Now, the Primordial World knows that you’re my adopted son. This time, it’s because of this that I caused you trouble. I secretly set it up for a long time but I still failed to defend against it. In the end, I failed.”
Li Jing hurriedly said, “Lord Taibai Jinxing, don’t say that. The kind are not to be blamed for the sins committed by evildoers. When I was cultivating, I often heard rumors about the six Saints. I did not expect to see the Saint today. However, the Saint shouted at me and wanted to kill me. It was really… Ah.”
Li Jing sighed and looked bitter.
As a husband and father, he was most afraid of the feeling of being unable to protect them.
Lady Yin asked softly, “Senior, how’s the child in my stomach?”
“Don’t worry, he’s fine.”
Li Changshou subconsciously looked at Lady Yin’s dress but he hurriedly retracted his gaze because he felt that he was being too rude.
He said, “Did anything strange happen in your dream?”
Lady Yin said gently, “I saw a young man. He bowed to me and apologized, but I don’t know why he apologized. Just as I was about to speak to him, he disappeared.”
“He feels bad for implicating you.”
Li Changshou said warmly, “Ling Zhuzi is a very gentle person. Previously, Senior Brother Taiyi felt that he was too elegant and not rough enough. He asked me to bring him to the Heavenly Courts to train and increase his masculinity. Your third son is destined to be the reincarnation of Ling Zhuzi. Under the arrangements of his master and I, he wants to shape Ling Zhuzi into an outstanding immortal. Unfortunately, in order not to implicate the two of you, he took the initiative to absorb the baneful aura and fuse with it. He no longer had any memories. In the future, he will only be your third son. You don’t have to think too much. The process of reincarnation is similar.”
Li Jing said, “Lord Taibai Jinxing, you’re being too serious. That… young hero is loyal and courageous. It’s already a great blessing for me to be the father of his reincarnation.”
Lady Yin hurriedly asked, “Is that young man no longer around?”
“Isn’t he in Madam Li’s stomach?” Li Changshou asked in return. “The memories of his previous life should not have been awakened. This matter should be made a Heavenly rule.”
Lady Yin raised her hand and caressed her slightly bulging abdomen. She heaved a sigh of relief.
Li Changshou shot Li Jing a look. The latter comforted Lady Yin and brought her upstairs to rest.
When Li Jing returned, Li Changshou raised his hand and set up a soundproof barrier.
Yang Jian also came over from the door and frowned at his Uncle-Master.
Li Changshou said, “Everyone, it’s best to prepare for the worst. Ling Zhuzi’s memories have dissipated. I don’t know how much of his personality I can retain, but the Fiend Ancestor’s baneful aura is filled with killing intent. I don’t know how much it will affect Ling Zhuzi. I will not stop thinking about it. Li Jing, be prepared to let your wife stay pregnant for more than ten months. Some methods are more effective on the fetus spirit.”
Li Jing hurriedly said, “Everything will be arranged by you, Lord Taibai Jinxing. My wife and I will definitely cooperate with you.”
Perfected Yu Ding said, “I have the Heart-Calming Technique talisman. I can also refine some Dharma treasures.”
“With Senior Brother’s help, it will be much easier.”
Perfected Taiyi smiled self-deprecatingly. “This time, you don’t have to worry about him not having any manly spirit.”
Li Changshou said, “A man’s spirit is not about fighting or killing. It’s not about his vigorous body hair and strong physique.”
Perfected Taiyi pursed his lips but could not be bothered to refute.
Yang Jian asked, “What else do we have to pay attention to?”
“Don’t mention Ling Zhuzi again,” Li Changshou said. “Today, I’ll treat it as if he has completely reincarnated and the baby has landed on the ground. Senior Brother Taiyi, if you want to take in a disciple, you can do it again. Li Jing, this will be your son in the future. You have to shoulder the responsibility of education.”
“I understand!”
Li Changshou pondered for a while and felt a little irritated.
What will happen to Ling Zhuzi, no, I mean, Nezha?
Li Changshou sighed in his heart. Although he understood many principles and knew that he should not blame himself for this matter, he still could not help but feel depressed.
Saints cannot die.
Why can’t Saints die?
Even if the Heavenly Dao did not eat the Saints, it was inevitable that it would rise. It was also a trend to suppress the six Saints. Wasn’t the Great God-Conferment Tribulation essentially the Heavenly Dao’s own plan?
Forget it. The timing is not right. My heart is indeed in a mess.
Buzz…
Da ~
A wisp of Dao runes circulated in his heart, and some ripples slowly spread in his heart. Li Changshou was stunned and looked at the scene that slowly surfaced in his heart.
In the painting, there was a barefooted brat with his hair tied up into two buns. He was sitting on a lotus flower and swaying his legs gently. There was a hint of boredom on his delicate face, and there was a straw in his mouth.
He seemed to have sensed something and looked at the scene. His Dao runes were clear and upright.
This is…
It’s him, it’s him, it’s him?
Li Changshou could not help but smile. He knew that his teacher was using the images that he had deduced to comfort him so that he did not have to worry too much.
That’s right. Everything depends on the person.
However, it was just a mere baneful aura. At most, he would go to the Grand Pure One Temple to ask his teacher to help. At most, he would refine it and use it for himself.
“Li Jing!”
Li Changshou stood up and Li Jing immediately answered.
“Yes, Lord.”
“I’ll return to the Heavenly Courts to report. Later, invite a portrait of the Jade Emperor, Great Daoist Master Xuan Du, and your Perfected Du’e to hang up. Remember to burn incense and pay respects during the holidays.”
Perfected Taiyi and Perfected Yu Ding stood up at the same time.
Li Jingzheng was a little stunned. Li Changshou continued, “There’s more.”
“What?”
“Don’t let your wife tire herself out and let her nurse her pregnancy in peace.”
Li Changshou waved his sleeve and inadvertently revealed a faint dignity.
The Sixth Saint.
We are not done with Ling Zhuzi!

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)
