She would recognize her husband anywhere, and at any time even if he turned to dust or ashes.

Fast forward to the evening of the same day.

Since today was the third day after Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei's marriage, they went to visit Lady Chen at the Chen Villa, as it was a tradition for any newly married couple to visit the bride's home on the third day after their marriage in Chinese Custom.

Before Chen and Liu Longwei embarked on their journey, they already prepared gifts for Lady Chen.

When they arrived, the butler immediately ushered them in with all smiles, as the servants kept moving things from the cars they came with and into the house.

As Chen Lihua sat on the couch in the living room, she immediately asked the Butler, "Where is my mum?"

"Madam is in her bedroom, Young miss, but a servant has already gone to inform her of your arrival". The butler said respectfully.

The servants then came out to serve them some refreshments and paid their respects to them cheerfully.

The servants were very happy to see their young miss as it was the first time they were setting their eyes on her, since after her wedding three days ago.

Chen Lihua didn't waste time before she picked a purple grape and sent it into her mouth.

She didn't even bother to touch any other thing there because the captivating purple grape fruit caught her eyes.

Liu Longwei just watched her as she munched on the juicy grapefruit with a smile.

Chen Lihua caught his gaze on her, so she looked at him while asking, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"You seem to enjoy fruits a lot". Liu Longwei said after coming to a conclusion.

Chen Lihua finished eating the grape in her mouth before replying to him, "Yes, I like fruits a lot because they are not only sweet, but contain a lot of vitamins and minerals, and they are healthy as well. Even if I don't eat food but take only fruits, I will be very much satisfied".

"Oh". Liu Longwei said.

"Why are you not eating anything?" Chen Lihua asked after not seeing him pick anything to eat or drink.

"Nothing". Liu Longwei replied as he checked his phone that was ringing. But upon seeing the caller's ID, he cut the call.

"Try this, you will love it. The fruits are very fresh, and that's because my mother has a fruit and vegetable garden behind the Villa. So, she doesn't lack fruits here". Chen Lihua said while popping a grapefruit into his mouth.

What was currently going on in Liu Longwei's mind was how Chen Lihua didn't even bother to ask him who called him earlier. So he began to wonder if she didn't care, or that she didn't just want to ask?

He was pulled out from his thought when he felt Chen Lihua's fingers on his lips and a small round thing in his mouth.

So, he licked her fingers that were just about to be withdrawn from his mouth and smiled mischievously.

Chen Lihua scrunched up her face in a frown, but not in disgust as she stared at her fingers that he just licked, not knowing where to place them.

Liu Longwei chewed the fruit and couldn't help letting out a chuckle when he saw her confused state.

"What? Do you feel disgusted that your husband licked your finger, and now don't want to use them anymore?" Liu Longwei questioned.

"How do you expect me to continue eating with these fingers you just happened to put your saliva on?" Chen Lihua asked, sending a glare across his way.

Since they were sitting on the same couch, Liu Longwei was able to shove his face close to her. He tilted his face close to hers and said in a voice that only they could hear, "it's not like we haven't kissed before because we have exchanged and tasted each other's saliva. So there's not much disparity between your situation now, and then. So stop making a fuss and eat your juicy grapefruit".

Liu Longwei finished speaking and leaned away and smirked when he saw how dumbfounded she was.

"You...you....", Chen Lihua said while looking around as if to make sure that no one heard the shameful words he said.

Seeing that no one was paying attention to them, Chen Lihua hit his biceps hard but ended up feeling the pain because of how hard it was due to the workout sessions he normally engages in, so she frowned while blowing air on her delicate fingers.

"What gibberish are you spouting from your mouth? Why don't I try licking your fingers with my tongue, then you try sending them into your mouth?" Chen Lihua challenged.

"You think I will be disgusted? Come on, let's try it", Liu Longwei said with a serious expression on his face. But deep down his heart, he was trying so hard to hold in the laugh that was threatening to slip out from his mouth.

Oh, Lihua! Who asked you to send yourself to the wolf's den?

Without waiting for any reaction from her, Liu Longwei plucked a grape from its bunch and sent it into her mouth immediately, touching her tongue with his fingers in the process.

He even had the opportunity to tease her pink tongue a little by rubbing it with his fingers, before removing it hastily, for fear of Chen Lihua's temper.

Chen Lihua looked at him in dismay, totally forgetting to eat the fruit in her mouth, as she watched him a pick grapefruit with those particular fingers, and also watched him shove the fruit into his mouth.

Liu Longwei stared at Chen Lihua as he licked his two fingers while teasing her.

"You see, I licked them. There is no big deal there". He said with a smile.

Chen Lihua didn't know what to say, as she chewed the grapefruit he had put in her mouth.

But if there's anything Chen Lihua discovered from this act of his, is that she was short-changed. Because he didn't seem to hide how happy he was.

It was as if he just won a lottery, that's to show you how happy he was.

Lady Chen who had been watching them for a while now, suddenly let out a hearty laugh when she saw her daughter's distress.
