Chen Lihua wanted to cry. She had been trying to take her hand back but to no avail. But now that she had been caught red-handed, it came off without a struggle.

'What has this hand been doing all this while? Was it trying to tell Longwei that I had the opportunity and choice to get my hand away, but I still left it there because I wanted to?'

Liu Longwei and Mu Boqin each held their women's hand while dragging them outside.

When Mu Boqin got to one of the cars they came with, he began to reprimand Liu Dongmei.

Mu Boqin was so angry that he didn't know whether to spank her ass right there.

"Do you know that Longwei is sending you out of the country for a project that will clock up to months? Which punishment do you think he would give you this time?" Mu Boqin asked.

Liu Dongmei looked shocked at hearing the breaking news. "What?! When did this happen? How come I didn't know about it?"

Mu Boqin sighed and began to recount the ordeal, when, why, and how it happened.

Liu Dongmei stood in shock and listened on.

Mu Boqin sighed as he held her shoulders.

"I promise that I will satisfy you to the fullest tomorrow night, so just go back, and wait obediently for me."

"Oh!" Liu Dongmei exclaimed softly.

As for Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua, their matter was a different case.

When Liu Longwei tried sending her inside her car, Chen Lihua refused to concede and instead turned around to hold his arm with a look of desperation.

"Longwei, listen to me, everything you saw

was a misunderstanding, let me explain what happened!"

"Get into the car first," Liu Longwei said authoritatively.

"Are you angry? Please don't be angry, and allow me to talk," Chen Lihua pleaded while resisting his actions.

"I am angry, but not at you, particularly because you are not the only one at fault here. Now that I have answered your question, can you please get into the car?" Liu Longwei asked precipitously.

Chen Lihua didn't dare to relax her nerves, so she voiced out this question, without having a second thought.

"You still look angry, are you going to call off the wedding?"

At this question, it seemed that time stopped, hoping that this moment never happened, and afraid of what was to come. But since it has happened already, let it pass quickly.

Chen Lihua's friends looked astonished at her question, and they began to wonder if something was wrong with her.

Even Liu Dongmei stared at her in disbelief and began to wonder if she really had a high IQ.

'Is this the right time to bring up this kind of question?' Liu Huiling asked herself before heaving a deep sigh.

So she freshened up before calling her mom on the phone.

It took a while before Lady Chen answered the call because she was still quite busy giving out instructions for the wedding preparations.

"Hello, mom," Chen Lihua greeted.

"Hello, dear, how are you doing?" Lady Chen asked.

"Am fine," Chen Lihua answered half-heartedly.

"But your voice tells me otherwise. Why are you still awake by this time, can't sleep?" Lady Chen asked with a tinge of worry in her voice.

"Mum, are you busy? Can I talk to you now?" Chen Lihua asked urgently.

"Of course, my dear, go ahead," Lady Chen said as she sat at a place with rapt attention.

Then, Chen Lihua went straight to the point to explain everything that happened that evening.

After explaining, Chen Lihua asked, "Mum, what should I do now? I think Longwei is very angry with me."

Lady Chen smiled, "Then apologize to him. If you feel that you did something wrong, and your husband is angry with you, then apologize to him, and the matter will be settled."

"Mum, you are a genius. Why didn't I think about it before now? I just discovered that I didn't even utter a word of apology. Am sure Longwei must be disappointed. Mum, thank you so much," Chen Lihua said as she cheered up.

"You don't have to thank me. I am only teaching you, so you won't make the same mistakes I made," Lady Chen said regretfully.

Chen Lihua understood that there was a hidden meaning in her mother's words. So she asked about it because if she didn't find out now, she might become too busy and preoccupied with so many things, that she will not remember to ask again.
