Chen knocks on Liu Longwei's room door and lets herself in without waiting for a response.

She saw Liu Longwei sitting on the bed, on a call.

Liu Longwei looked up towards his door, then he smiled on seeing his beautiful wife, and patted the space beside him.

Chen Lihua walked towards the bed and sat beside him to wait for him to finish with his call.

"......any movements yesterday?" Liu Longwei spoke to the person at the other end of the phone while fiddling with Chen Lihua's palm.

The person said something which Chen Lihua couldn't hear, but Liu Longwei replied, "That's alright. Keep a tight watch," and ended the call.

Then he enveloped Chen Lihua's back in an embrace.

"Who were you speaking so seriously too?" Chen Lihua asked with her back to him.

"The security team," Liu Longwei answered as he sniffed her neck.

Chen Lihua moved her neck to the side because of the hot breath she felt on her neck.

"Is there a problem?" She asked a little worried.

"None for you to worry about. So tell me, why this prey has sent herself to Lion's den to be devoured," Liu Longwei asked with a smile as he placed hit kisses on her neck.

Chen Lihua twisted in his arms as she tried to get away from him.

"Go away, am not your prey. I just came to ask you about wedding gifts. How come I haven't seen a single item?" Chen Lihua asked as she finally turned to face him.

Liu Longwei still had his arms wrapped around her as he answered her question.

"The gifts should come in about two or more hours. They are currently going through a series of security check-ups," He said before starting to kiss her all over the face.

Chen Lihua pushed his face away.

"Stay away from me. I'll be in my room till then," She said while trying to get up from the bed.

"Not when I haven't had my fill yet. Why don't we play a little game while we wait for the wedding gifts to arrive?" Liu Longwei suggested while still holding her waist.

"What kind of game?" Chen Lihua inquired in curiosity.

"You will find out soon~," Liu Longwei whispered mysteriously in her ear.

Before Chen Lihua could ponder on the meaning of his words, she saw herself lying on his bed.

"What kind of game are you trying to play?" Chen Lihua asked the man that was leaning in close to her.

"I just told you, you will find out soon," The man replied as he left a kiss on her lips, before sliding his hands into her blouse.

"Whoa...woo! From what I just figured out, I don't think am in for your game," Chen Lihua replied, before rolling off the bed.

Liu Longwei failed to catch her, so he sat on his bed and chuckled softly while glancing at his woman that just slipped away from his grasp, frightened.

"Are you still shy?" He asked.

Chen Lihua let out a breath before telling him how she actually felt.

"Yes, am still shy, but that's not the main point. The main point is that I am still uncomfortable after last night, and I don't think am ready to handle you. So, I suggest you should hold on for a few more days for me to heal."

Liu Longwei glanced at her and said with a funny expression, "I can't believe I will be starved of meat just when I thought I have been liberated, after not tasting it for a long time."

"Don't worry, you won't starve for long," Chen Lihua said to him with a smile before turning towards the door.

"Where are you going? Come and stay with me for a while," Liu Longwei requested.

"Am going back to my room to check on the wedding gifts I received from your family and my mom. My mother gave me some documents that I haven't looked at for two weeks now. I need to go check out the contents. But first, I think you have to deal with that if you want my company." Chen Lihua said the last sentence while pointing a finger at a certain part of his body before turning to leave immediately.

Liu Longwei stared at his bulge that Chen Lihua pointed out, before turning to look at the tightly shut door.

He smiled before lying on the bed with his palms over his face.

Within twenty minutes, Chen Lihua came out of her bedroom, she was fuming mad.

She entered Liu Longwei's room with some documents in her hand without knocking.

She searched his room, bathroom, and walk-in closet while calling his name, but neither did she receive a response not to see a single shadow.

So she immediately when to the study, and there she saw Liu Longwei looking over the laptop that was sitting on the table in his view.

"What's up? Why do you look so angry?" Liu Longwei asked in surprise as he stood up from his chair.

His woman left him after rejecting his advances, and now she returned twenty-something minutes later in fury..... Who in the world got her this mad?

Chen Lihua didn't even allow him to walk towards her, because she was already standing while facing him, but with the table between them.

"Can I ask you a question?" Chen Lihua tried to ask with a calm facade, but it came out the opposite way.

Thank goodness the servants didn't see her angry because they would have been shocked.

This floor was exclusively for Chen and Liu Longwei, so the servants never came up here unless they had some cleaning to do. If there was an emergency, they were to reach Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei through the intercom.

"Go ahead and ask," Liu Longwei said calmly.

"Did the Chen group ever merge with the Liu Group?" Chen Lihua asked, trying to seek clarification on the matter she was going gaga for.

"No, why do you ask? Is there a problem?" Liu Longwei asked in surprise.

"My mother lied to me!" Chen Lihua said through gritted teeth.
