Two months later, Chen Lihua was seven months pregnant now. Her baby was as big as a head of lettuce.

Her baby bump was now visible, and couldn't be hidden so easily. But with a lot of effort, it still can be hidden.

Weeks ago, she felt the baby kick for the first time, and she was so excited that she broke the good news to Liu Longwei.

Liu Longwei was so happy that he placed his hand on her abdomen to feel the baby's movement, but he was out of luck because, throughout that day, the baby didn't make another move.

He was not happy about that fact, but Chen Lihua consoled him.

So at last, few days after the incident, he had his palm placed on Chen Lihua's abdomen and was talking to the baby when it moved.

Liu Longwei was so excited that he lifted Chen Lihua in his arms and twirled her. If not that she felt dizzy, he wouldn't have been willing to put her down.

"Sweetheart, the baby just moved!." Liu Longwei spoke like a proud father.

"Yeah, I know." Chen Lihua replied with a smile on her face as she watched how excited he was.

Liu Longwei could not keep the good news to himself, so he called his mother to share it with her.

"Look how happy he is." Old Madam Liu said happily after the call ended.

"It's his first time being a father, and I'm sure he can not wait to hold the baby in his arms." Madam Liu said in response.

Liu Longwei couldn't believe that he literally, felt his child's movements. He even placed his and on Chen Lihua's abdomen again to see if he could get the same feeling again, and he eventually did.

He was so excited that he hugged Chen Lihua.

Chen Lihua placed her hand on her baby bump to feel its movements.

"Our baby seems to be having a lot of fun because it's moving around a lot."

"Sweetheart, thank you!." Liu Longwei said as he kissed her cheek.

That same week, Liu Longwei released his father.

Mr. Liu felt quite lucky to be released from prison.

As he was sent back home, he shut himself indoors, refusing to go for any board meetings.

Madam Liu and Old Madam Liu just let him stay at home and as it pleased him.

Mr. Liu never wanted to experience hell again, so he behaved appropriately after he was released.

Now at week twenty-eight, Chen Lihua has already started her antenatal and childbirth classes.

She has found out her Rh status (Rhesus factor), and she is strictly on a diet even though Liu Longwei allows her to stray once in a while.

It seems like the humidifier wasn't walking anymore, or maybe the pregnancy hormones (estrogen and progesterone) are getting stronger because Chen Lihua finds it difficult to breathe at night these days because of her stuffy nose.

According to her doctor's recommendation, she got a nasal trip, and she wears them at bedtime to open up her nostrils.

Saying that she wasn't getting frustrated and depressed, that would be a while.

Sometimes, She just wished she could take off her baby bump and drop it somewhere, and then when she was ready, she would gladly put it back on.

But her wish couldn't be granted.

She feels dizzy these days, and sometimes, her feet start to swell.

This is something Chen Lihua wouldn't tolerate, so she takes walks more often and drinks a lot of water. She takes not less than ten glasses of water every day.

She continues with her Yoga exercises, and it's helping her a lot.

Her breast increased in size and became fuller and heavier. Sometimes she feels sore while bathing.

Liu Longwei helps her to bathe most of the time because he wants to care for her, so he is usually careful while helping her to wash just in case he receives a death glare or gets sent out of the bathroom.

Like it has happened several times. Poor Liu Longwei 😓

These days, Chen Lihua gets easily irritated, so nobody dears her.

Even at work, the deputy chief is staying clear from her.

He thinks that Chen Lihua must have eaten the guts of a leopard.

One minute she is smiling, and another minute, she is angry.

Like who the hell switches moods as fast as she does? 🤷‍♀️

No one dared Chen Lihua these days, because her temper is one of a kind.

But Liu Longwei still loves her that way. He gives her massages once her backache starts. He goes on a walk with her when she feels like she is about to go crazy.

"I can't wait to get this child of my stomach like it's getting on my nerve! Aww!." Chen Lihua said in a certain day before climbing unto the bed.

Liu Longwei was quiet and refused to be tempted to say anything.

Who knows what he might say that would anger her, and cause him to be thrown out of the room?

"Darling, let's find out the baby's gender like I want to know who is giving me so much trouble." Chen Lihua said to him.

"Okay, let's do that. Do we have to go to the hospital for that?." Liu Longwei asked.

"I have no idea, but I think the doctor should have an idea about it. Maybe we can leave it till my next appointment." Chen Lihua said with her hands on her protruded stomach.

"Alright, as you wish." Liu Longwei said as he sat on the foot of the bed, ready to give her a massage.

"Would you like to eat anything in the middle of the night?." He asked as he started to massage her foot.

"No, let the baby starve a little." Chen Lihua said without a care.

Liu Longwei glanced at her without saying anything. He continued with massaging her feet.

"Like seriously? Do you think I would starve my child?." Chen Lihua asked, her tone not good at all.

"Did I say anything?." Liu Longwei asked in surprise.

"Your mouth did not say anything, but that look said it all. Do you think I'm blind?." Chen Lihua asked angrily.

Liu Longwei sighed and continued to massage her fret as he spoke, "Sweetheart, I didn't mean any of that."

Chen Lihua snatched her feet from his hands and immediately laid on the bed and closed her eyes.

Just like that!

Liu Longwei was not surprised, In fact, he was used to it. It's just that he was avoiding it, but it still happened.
