It so happened that Chen Lihua decided to try her luck at night, but her plans failed.

Avoiding see tears from her eyes, Liu Longwei agreed for her to travel with his sisters to the beach in the Maldives.

Liu Longwei was still not great assured, so he asked his brother Liu Liwei to pause whatever activities he was in, and escort his wife to the Maldives with their sisters.

Liu Liwei was glad to take up the job though he was still filming. This was the kind of job he liked undertaking.

A chance to be away from work, and also an opportunity to have fun, and adding to the fact that he would be free to talk to his sister-in-law without considering his jealous brother.

Liu Longwei knew he was excited, but he couldn't cancel what he just said.

He was very busy because of the business trip that would take a long time.

His wife was almost getting to her due date, so he needed to be in the country to witness the birth of their first child.

The business trip would take a while, and if care wasn't taken, he would be away when his wife would give birth, and he wouldn't want that.

So he has been busy a lot these days to compress a kit of work.

Letting his wife travel to have some fun before she gives birth wouldn't be a bad idea. He just needed to set somethings up for their trip.

At least, Chen Lihua would be back two weeks before he goes on the trip. He would enough time to spend with her and their unborn child.

Chen Lihua was quick to share the news with her Sisters-in-law immediately she refused the positive reply from Liu Longwei.

"Wow! That's great! How many rounds did you guys go before he agreed?." Liu Dongmei asked curiously.

Chen Lihua blushed as she replied, "He didn't touch me. I guess he agreed quickly because he didn't want to see me cry again."

"Cry again? Is there an important story I'm missing?." Liu Dongmei asked curiously.

Chen Lihua smiled as she went on to tell her what transpired a few months ago.

"He refused my request and spoke to me in a manner that seemed unlike him, so I cried. I think he was scared because of how miserable I became as I cried, and the baby, so he kneeled and apologized. The next morning, my eyes were still swollen, so he felt guilty. Mother cautioned him as well."

"I see. Now you've got him at the palm of your hands, try your best to make use of the opportunity to the best of your ability. This kind of opportunity comes once in a Blue Moon." Liu Dongmei advised with a funny look on her face.

When the weekend came, Chen Lihua hosted a small baby shower party for her baby, inviting only the immediate family members of Liu and Chen's.

It was a small and fun party to behold.

When both families stepped into Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei's home, they immediately discovered the sex of the baby when they saw the blue and white colored decors.

Both families congratulated her with happiness in their hearts.

Chen Lihua and the baby received lots of gifts from both families and close relatives.

The baby shower was fun because everyone was there to make it a memorable one.

Both families blessed the unborn baby before leaving.

To save the memory of that day, Chen Lihua had a video and pictures recorded, so she could always go down memory lane.

Chen Lihua looked beautiful in her sleeveless white dress and blue flowered crown. She was all smiles throughout that day, and Liu Longwei refused to leave her side.

He assisted her with every little thing she wanted.

Chen Lihua was asked to dance alone before Liu Longwei joined her.

The cake was cut, the wine was toasted, gifts were given to the guests, and they were all asked to dance together.

The ceremony was held outdoor.

Chen Lihua invited a private designer to handle the decorations and everything about the baby shower, and the job was done satisfactorily.

Everybody in attendance had a lot of fun that day.

Aunt Lin who was in the hospital, also participated in the event because the ceremony was live-streamed.

Chen Lihua made sure she wasn't left out at the party, and Aunt Lin was grateful for her considerations and care.

The week after the baby shower, Chen Lihua was ready to embark on the journey with her Sisters-in-law.

Liu Longwei personally helped her to pack her bags as he gave her important pointers and reminded her of the doctor's instructions.

Seeing how worried he was, Chen Lihua suggested that he comes along with them, but he rejected that idea.

"This is a sacrifice I have to make so I would be in the Country a few days before your delivery date. I want to be with you in the labor room." Liu Longwei said as he hugged her waist.

This was indeed a sacrifice he had to make for the more important event to come.

He could always travel with her to the Maldives as many times as possible, but there were different feelings and emotions from watching her give birth to their baby.

That was something that happens once in a while.

He might not be able to control his schedules the next time she steps into the delivery, but he can control it now.

All that was needed was for him to go along with the schedule he planned some months back just for the big day.

"Darling, thank you for everything that you do for me." Chen Lihua said with a grateful heart as she relaxed her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you for the burden of bearing our child." Liu Longwei said to her as he caressed her hair.

"I promise to do everything I can to relieve most of your burden." He promised.

After a while, Chen Lihua spoke up. "Darling, have you thought of a name for our child?."

"I've been looking at quite some names lately, but nothing is suitable for me. Let's talk about it when you are back from the Maldives." Liu Longwei replied.
