When they entered Chen Lihua's room, she was just waking up.

"Doctor where is my sister-in-law? How is she?." Chen Lihua asked the doctor as she tried sitting up, but she winced in pain.

"Don't try to get up, lay back." The doctor instructed before going ahead to reply to her as she obediently laid back on the bed.

"Your sister-in-law is safe. And your child is safe as well."

"My child?." Chen Lihua asked as she caressed her abdomen.

"Yes, your child is safe." The doctor confirmed.

This was the scene Liu Dongmei and Liu Liwei met when they came in.

On seeing them, Chen Lihua tried to sit up again, but Liu Dongmei overhearing what the doctor said, immediately rushed to her side and stopped her.

"Lihua lie back. How are you?." She asked as she held her palm and squeezed them gently.

"I'm fine. How is Sister Huiling?." Chen Lihua asked worriedly.

"She is out of danger, but she is still in surgery." Liu Dongmei replied.

Liu Liwei walked to their side to ask as the bodyguards placed the food items on the table.

"Sister-in-law, how are you? Dongmei and I are sorry for the troubles you had to go through."

"There is no problem." Chen Lihua said in reply before turning to Liu Dongmei to ask with a little hope in her eyes.

"Sister Mei, what of Sister Ling's child, was the doctor able to save it?."

Liu Dongmei and Liu Liwei exchanged glances as Chen Lihua gazed between them.

Liu Dongmei sighed before replying. "We lost the baby, the doctor couldn't save it."

Chen Lihua looked sad as her mind began to wander.

"Sister Ling saved me too. I feel so bad that she had to lose her baby in the process." Chen Lihua said as her eyes brimmed with tears.

"Lihua doesn't cry, everything happened for a purpose. If sister Ling was here now, she wouldn't want to see you cry." Liu Dongmei said as she consoled her.

"Miss Chen?." The doctor said as she suddenly spoke up.

"We managed to stabilize the fetus, please be careful of your emotions, is not good for the baby. You don't want to aggravate the situation do you?."

Chen Lihua waved her head in a negative affirmation.

"Good. I will be back shortly." The doctor said and left the room to them.

"Lihua don't cry okay? It's not good for the baby. The child has experienced series of shocks today, it needs to rest." Liu Dongmei advised.

"Mmmm." Chen Lihua hummed in reply as she wiped her tears with the back of her hand.

"Sister-in-law, did you see the woman that attacked Sister Ling? Do you know her identity?." Liu Liwei asked because this information was vital.

"That woman?! Of course, I saw her. Even though I have facial recognition troubles, I will never forget that evil woman!." Chen Lihua said as she started to breathe heavily.

Liu Dongmei immediately stopped her from talking. "Lihua it's alright. Don't say anything anymore. You have to watch your health. It wouldn't be good for your blood pressure to be high at this current state."

"I know. I'm just so angry. If I had a knife, I would have stabbed that woman to death." Chen Lihua said as she raged on.

Liu Dongmei and Liu Liwei exchanged glances and immediately made up their mind not to continue with the questions, seeing how unstable Chen Lihua was.

Just then, the doctor came in and so Chen Lihua's chest heaving up and down rapidly, so she immediately went to check on her.

"Miss Chen, please try to control your emotions right now, it's not good for you and the baby." The doctor instructed as she glanced at the three of them with a warning in her eyes.

"Miss Chen, it's time for you to eat something." The doctor reminded.

QB who has been standing at a corner, went on to open the packages.

"I'm not hungry." Chen Lihua said stubbornly.

"Miss Chen, your baby is hungry." The doctor said as she gave her a strict glance.

Remembering her child, and the troubles he had to go through today, Chen Lihua decided to eat something.

But because she didn't have much appetite, she couldn't eat up to half of the food no matter how she was forced.

The doctor asked them to leave her as a nurse replaced the empty Drip with a new one.

After replacing the Drip, the nurse injected another drug into the Drip with a needle.

"That's the sleeping drug, it will help all of us a great deal." The doctor explained before walking out with the nurse.

"When do I get to see Sister Ling?." Chen Lihua asked after the doctor left.

"Soon. But first of all, you need plenty of rest." Liu Dongmei reminded in a kind tone.

"Brother Liwei, would you ever cheat on your partner?." Chen Lihua asked out of the blue.

Liu Dongmei and Liu Liwei were surprised by the question.

Like how was a cheating partner connected to the current situation on the ground?

But Liu Longwei still replied to her. "I will never cheat on my partner even if I don't love her anymore. As long as we are together, I will never do that."

"Good! Don't do that or you will be my enemy." Chen Lihua said in a serious tone.

Seeing that serious facial expression on her face, they began to wonder where all of this was coming from.

But in no time, she answered their question.

"If Sister Ling's husband didn't cheat on her and bring his pregnant girlfriend over, all these would never have happened." Chen Lihua revealed as she gazed at the window.

This was summer, the season that was most difficult for Chen Lihua to come because of the heat and the sun.

Luckily, the room wasn't brightly lit because of her sensitive eyes.

"Brother Zhang Wei cheated on sister?!." Liu Dongmei asked, shocked by the news.

"Brother-in-law Zhang Wei got another woman pregnant?!." Liu Liwei asked angrily.
