The next morning after Liu Longwei was done handling their discharge procedures, they set off back to China.

Once they got back home, Liu Huiling was admitted to SUH, while Chen Lihua was on bed rest, and being looked after by her doctor.

She was not allowed to move around except when she wanted to use the bathroom.

She has been pestering Liu Longwei about visiting Chen Lihua at the hospital, but her idea was rejected.

Even her doctor was not in her support.

Lady Chen and Madam Liu came to the house to visit her with the nutritious soup they cooked for her.

Chen Lihua kept pestering Liu Longwei, she had to tell him lies just to visit Liu Huiling.

"Darling, the hospital is equipped with better facilities than here, send me to the hospital."

"Is that so? Then I will equip the house with advanced hospital facilities so you don't have to go to the hospital." Liu Longwei said.

Seeing that her lies were in vain, she decided to soften her stance and say the truth.

"Darling, I wasn't to see Sister Ling, I am very much worried about her, and I haven't seen her for almost two days. I want to know how she is doing, I want to see her."

"You will get to see her when you recover. The doctor advised that you shouldn't move around, please adhere to her instructions for the benefit of you and the baby." Liu Longwei said to her.

In Liu Huiling's VIP room at SUH, her mother-in-law came to visit her.

"I heard about what happened between you and Zhang Wei, and I must apologize for my son's behavior and everything you had to go through. My son's act is my fault, I didn't train him well." Mrs. Zhang said as she gazed at Liu Huiling who was currently sitting up on the bed.

"Mother, you don't..." Liu Huiling managed to say before she was cut off.

"Don't worry, I am not here to beg you to forgive my son and get back together with him. I will never do that. You have suffered enough. I am only here so you can forgive me for not having the insight that something was wrong."

Mrs. Zhang sighed and continued.

"I ask that you forgive me, and don't stop me from seeing my grandchildren." Mrs. Zhang pleaded.

"Mother, you didn't do anything wrong to me, so there is no need to apologize. As for my relationship with Zhang Wei, it's not your fault because it was my choice to keep everything hidden from everybody. And, I will not stop you from seeing your grandchildren, because you were kind to me, and I've always had your support." Liu Huiling said to her in a soft stance.

"Thank you!. Please allow me to drop by every day to see you before you are discharged."

"My doors will always be open to you." Liu Huiling said to her in a smile.

That evening, Liu Huiling's lawyer called her to notify her that the divorce papers were ready.

"Thank you! Please bring it over to the hospital, someone needs to sign it ASAP!." She instructed.

After speaking with her lawyer, she phoned Zhang Wei.

Zhang Wei didn't wait for the phone to ring out loud before he answered the call. He has been waiting to hear from her, desperately.

"Come over to SUH, someone will be at the underground parking lot to bring you over." Liu Huiling said immediately the call was answered, and she ended the call after saying her part.

Zhang Wei was satisfied that he heard her voice after a while now.

Liu Longwei allowed them (Zhang Wei and his girlfriend) to bail themselves just before he went back to China.

Immediately after he was released, Zhang Wei came back to China with his pregnant girlfriend. But he dumped her somewhere because she was currently not important to him.

Receiving Liu Huiling's call made him relieved, but he was scared of her demand, for the kind of had an idea of what she wanted to see him for.

He was scared, but he still had to go. If not, he may be dragged to the hospital like an animal.

Well, it's now that he was seeing the true powers of the Liu.

There was nothing much to dwell on, so Zhang Wei went to the hospital to see her.

As Liu Huiling said, someone (one of the bodyguards) was there to take him to her.

The bodyguard stood there with a serious expression on his face. Then he sized Zhang Wei before looking away and walking ahead.

Even the bodyguards that noticed his existence before no longer cared about him.

When he got to Liu Huiling's room, She passed the divorce papers and a pen for him to sign them, without sparing him much of a glance.

Zhang Wei took the divorce papers and the pen from her as he glanced at her, but she wasn't even looking at him.

"Sign them quickly!." She commanded.

Zhang Wei sighed as he picked up the pen and began to sign them.

Just then, Liu Longwei and Liu Dongmei walked into the room.

"What is he doing here?!." Liu Dongmei asked furiously as she appeared before Zhang Wei, ready to fight him.

"He is here to sign the divorce papers." Liu Huiling replied to her, then she called out to Liu Longwei...

"Brother, you are here?."

"Mmmm. I came by to see how you are doing and if you need anything. By the way, Lihua extends her greetings to you, she has been pestering to see you. But she can't get out of bed yet." Liu Longwei said as he walked in and took a seat, not sparing the scared Zhang Wei a glance.

"Oh! I missed her. But soon, I will be discharged from this place and then I will come over to see her." Liu Huiling promised.

Right then, Zhang Wei finished signing the documents and passed them to Liu Huiling. Then he called out to her as he stretched his hand to hold her, but he received a tight slap on his face.

"Are you crazy?!." Liu Huiling asked furiously. If eyes could kill, she would have killed him a long time ago!."

"I have never laid my hands on you even when I found out your cheating habits, but you deserve this one because I no longer think of giving our relationship a second chance. After our divorce is settled, don't you ever come close to my children. I know you wouldn't dare that with me unless you want to die at the spot."

"Brother if he nears this hospital again, it doesn't matter if he came to see me or not, cripple him!."
