The next morning, Chen Lihua was blooming with smiles. Lou Longwei could see a different kind of happiness on her face.

'Looks like I satisfied her well last night'. He thought with a proud smile on his face.

Having taken a maternity leave from work today, Chen Lihua was all smiles as she relaxed and surfed for Baby items online.

She was having a boy, so she was planning to get more baby items in blue.

She was a lot interest in welcoming her child soon.

The maternity room would be perfectly ready, next week, so she was putting in a lot of effort now so there would be no last-minute rush.

She didn't want to leave anything behind.

Although she wasn't having her baby in the hospital, she needed to get her maternity bag ready as well.

After recuperating for two days, Liu Huiling goes to live with Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei with her children after much persuasion from Chen Lihua.

"Sister Ling, come and keep me company. I will be so bored by myself since I've taken a leave from the hospital. Please stay with me till you figure out your plans."

Initially, Liu Huiling planned to return to the Liu residence after she moved out with her children, and sold the house used to live in because she didn't want to be reminded of her pain.

The house Liu Huiling live in with her children, was under her name because it was part of the dowry Liu Longwei gave to her few days before she got married, so she had every right to sell it.

On the day Liu Huiling came with her children to stay, Chen Lihua prepared a feast to welcome them.

Liu Dongmei came with her daughter. Madam Liu came with the Old Madam Liu who rarely went out.

Liu Liwei came as well, he came from his filming site.

The house was lively as Chen Lihua welcomed Liu Huiling into her house. She also got presents for everyone that came around.

But most especially, she got big, better, and more expensive gifts for Liu Huiling.

During the welcoming party, nobody brought up the topic of Zhang Wei. They only encouraged her to go on with her life, and that they would always be there for her.

Liu Huiling was emotional as her family showed her much love. She was also most grateful to Chen Lihua for throwing a simple party and inviting their family just to welcome her into her house, so she toasted to her.

The party was held in the evening, so it would suit everyone's work schedule.

The party didn't last for a long time, but the little time spent was worthwhile.

A quality time spent together was worth much more than anything between families!

Before Liu Dongmei left that day, she promised to come over and stay for two weeks, and she did fulfill her promise.

She came a week later with her luggage 🧳. She didn't come alone, she came with her daughter and her Nanny.

"Is Mu Boqin in support of this?." Liu Huiling asked as she watched her sister walk into the house while holding her daughter's hand, and as the servants brought in their luggage.

"Qin is fine with everything I do. He just needs to be an obedient husband and support whatever his wife does if he wants peace." Liu Dongmei said in reply as she made herself comfortable in the living room.

"It's only Boqin that can tolerate your outrageous behavior." Liu Huiling said as she sat on the sofa and crossed her legs. Her face was looking healthier.

"Why? I'm I stubborn?." Liu Dongmei asked.

"You are, very stubborn." Liu Huiling replied as a smile appeared on her face.

"Oh! Qin is dealing quite well with it." Liu Dongmei replied.

"I don't see Lihua around, where is she?." Liu Dongmei asked.

"She's taking a nap. She has been waiting for your arrival for such a long time, what caused the delay?." Liu Huiling asked.

"I was delayed because I had a painting to deliver. I'm so sorry to have kept her waiting. I also forget to notify you of the time." Liu Dongmei said in apology.

When Liu Dongmei's daughter saw her cousins, she ran off to play with them.

"When you see Chen Lihua, apologize to her. She had the chef prepare something special for you. You just have a special way of ruining plans." Liu Huiling said.

Liu Dongmei brought out her tongue 😜 as she smiled. Liu Huiling chuckled softly at her childish behavior.

"Sister Mei, I saw that." Chen Lihua said as she quickly made her way towards them with a smile on her face.

Her face just looked like someone that had a good sleep.

Liu Dongmei took her tongue back in at lightning speed, but Chen Lihua had already seen it.

"It's really funny seeing this playful side of you." Chen Lihua said as she went to hug her, before taking a seat.

"I will be here for two weeks, so you will be seeing more shades of Liu Dongmei." Liu Dongmei said as she winked 😉 at the end of her statement.

"By the way, you look like you had a good sleep." Liu Dongmei commented.

"Oh yeah. I was so tired from waiting for you, so I had to take a quick nap. But who knew you would arrive before I would wake up." Chen Lihua replied.

"I was delayed because of work, I'm sorry about that. I heard from Huiling that you prepared a special delicacy for me, can have a look at it now?." Liu Dongmei asked as her eyes shown brightly.

"No. What you need to take a look at, is the bedroom Lihua prepared for you. She decorated it with your artistic taste." Liu Huiling revealed.

"Really?." Liu Dongmei asked with a smile on her face as she glanced between them.

"Yeah. Would you like to take a look at it while the food is being served?." Chen Lihua asked, seeking her opinion.

"Of course I would love to, please show me the way." Liu Dongmei said, jumping to her feet with an excited look on her face.

Chen Lihua led them to the bedroom she prepared for Liu Dongmei.

It really had this artistic look and screamed of Liu Dongmei, the bedroom was truly made for her.
