When Liu Longwei returned to the room with their food, Chen Lihua smiled at him as she said, "You returned so quickly."

"Yeah. My wife is already very hungry, and I don't want to starve her further." Liu Longwei said as his lips turned up in a smile as he adjusted the bed so she can relax on it in a sit-up position.

"I can feed myself." Chen Lihua said as she tried grabbing the spoon for him when attempted sending food into her mouth.

"I know, and I can feed you as well. Save your strength to push the baby out later." Liu Longwei said as he brought the food to her mouth again.

This time around, Chen Lihua ate the food obediently.

As they are, Chen Lihua asked about his private jet and the story behind it.

"It was stolen." Liu Longwei replied as he put some fold into his mouth.

"Stolen? Someone dares to steal from you?." Chen Lihua asked with a surprised smile on her face.

"Why do you seem so happy about it?." Liu Longwei asked as he cleaned the corner of her lips with a napkin.

"How can I be happy that someone succeeded in stealing from my husband? I'm just surprised, not happy. Tell me the details, I want to know everything." Chen Lihua demanded.

Liu Longwei gazed at her expectant look for some seconds before sending a spoon of soup to her mouth, then he started with his story.

In the middle of eating, Chen Lihua got a painful contraction that made her abandon the food as her face squeezed in a frown.

"Are you alright?." Liu Longwei asked as he put the plate down and rushed to help her get off the bed.

"It's the contractions. It's coming on strong, and it's regular now." Chen Lihua said to him with a hand on her waist as she walked around the room to relieve the pain.

"Should I get the doctor?." Liu Longwei asked.

"No, I have to finish my food." Chen Lihua said to him.

When she felt relieved by the pain, she came back to sit on the bed and continued eating.

"Do you like the food so much?." Liu Longwei asked as he continues feeding her.

"Yeah, but that's not the actual reason. I need the energy to push the baby out because, labor is a long process, and I might not be in the mood to eat again." Chen Lihua replied after swallowing the food in her mouth.

As she ate, she could feel her backache and that heavy feeling that some women experience during their monthly period.

Now, the contractions were regular and coming about every ten to fifteen (10 - 15) minutes.

After eating, they were having a good time of their lives as they talked about what each of them did when they were away from each other.

From their conversation, one could tell Chen Lihua had more fun.

Chen Lihua was not sitting at a place now, because she couldn't endure the contractions in a sitting position.

Suddenly as she was standing with a hand on her abdomen, and the other hand on her waist while smiling at Liu Longwei who was sitting and watching her, she felt a liquid flow from her inner thighs down to her legs.

Chen Lihua stopped smiling as she exchanged glances with Liu Longwei before looking down at herself to see a pool of a liquid substance in between and beside her legs.

Liu Longwei looked shocked as well, in fact, he was speechless and didn't react for a while.

Just then, Liu Dongmei and Liu Huiling came into the room, laughing. But that laugh didn't last long because they saw the facial expressions of the couple and then looked down to see the pool of liquid at Chen Lihua's feet.

Both of them exclaimed in surprise, "Your water broke?!."

Their scream cause Liu Longwei to come back to his senses.

"Get the doctor immediately." Liu Longwei instructed as he went to Chen Lihua's side to support her.

"Let's get you all cleaned up." He said to her as he slowly guided her to the bathroom.

Liu Dongmei ran out of the room to inform the doctor who was chatting with the three older women in the living room.

"Why are you running around the house like a child?." Madam Liu berated her.

"Doctor, Lihua's water just broke!." Liu Dongmei announced as she breathed heavily.

"What?!." Lady Chen and Madam Liu exclaimed in surprise.

"That's good news, her labor has started, let's go." The doctor said to the two nurses that have been sitting at the side, before getting up to leave with a smile on her face.

The other women followed after her as well, as they all went into the room.

When they entered the room, Liu Huiling was given the floor one last cleaning.

And just then, Liu Longwei supported Chen Lihua back into the room, but Chen Lihua's face wasn't looking so good.

"Come, my dear, let the doctor examine you." Lady Chen said with a happy smile on her face as she took hold of her other arm.

The doctor asked her to lay down on the bed so she could examine her externally and internally.

Chen Lihua laid on the bed with the help of her mother and Liu Longwei. She was basically breathing through her mouth.

The doctor took her pulse, temperature, and blood pressure, and then checked her urine. (That's for the external examination).

For the internal examination, the doctor has to check how much her cervix has opened.

Chen Lihua was shocked that the doctor wanted to put her fingers inside her. Liu Longwei has been the only one to touch her there apart from herself while bathing, and then maybe when she was small as they washed that area for her.

Liu Huiling knew Chen Lihua wouldn't be comfortable with so many people watching, so she guided the rest out, leaving only Chen Lihua with Liu Longwei and the doctor.

When the doctor put her fingers inside her, Chen Lihua screamed in pain and struggled.

"Hold her down!." The doctor instructed Liu Longwei.
