Lady Chen and Old Madam Liu sat outside the room to wait, while Madam Liu went to check on Liu Dongmei.

As Liu Huiling walked in, she closed the door behind her. But the women were able to hear Chen Lihua's screams from the little moment the door opened, and before it was shut.

Liu Longwei walked in to see Chen Lihua in tears as she pushed her baby, while Liu Longwei was standing at the side and wiping her sweats as he encouraged her.

Liu Huiling hurried to their side. She could see the baby's head, so she smiled as she glanced at Chen Lihua.

"Lihua, you are a strong woman. Soon, you can hold your baby."

Chen Lihua glanced at her and tried to smile, but she couldn't. Liu Huiling understood her predicament, so she smiled as she said to her, "Don't stress yourself, I understand.

"Mrs. Liu, the next contraction that comes, you will have to put in more effort to fully deliver the head of the baby. Remember, you can't stop, your you will suffocate the child, do you understand?." The doctor said to her in a serious tone.

Chen Lihua nodded in response as she laid back on the bed and shut her eyes.

"After the head is born, the rest of the body won't be a problem, because one gentle push is enough for it. And it's great you don't need a cut for your baby to be delivered." The doctor said to her.

"Lihua, you can do this." Liu Longwei encouraged.

Liu Longwei didn't know what else to tell her, so he wiped her tears and kissed the corner of her lips.

"Sweetheart, everything will be over soon, just bear for a little while." He said to her.

Suddenly, Chen Lihua's facial expression changed, and it can be seen that the contractions were coming on strong.

"Good! Mrs. Liu, I need you to push with all you might, don't stop until I tell you too." The doctor said as she got in position.

"Now push!." The doctor said with her hands on the baby's head.

Chen Lihua pushed with all her might. Although she was weak, she still had to continue.

What was going through her mind was a lot?

'Baby, please come out quickly and be safe.' She said to herself as she pushed harder, and struggled with her breath.

"Dr, she's losing her breath." The nurse who keeping checks on Chen Lihua announced to the doctor.

"Mrs. Liu, don't stop pushing, you can't stop now, or the baby might suffocate!." The doctor said with much urgency in her voice.

"Doctor, what are you doing? Can't you see that she is not breathing properly?!." Liu Longwei asked in a tensed tone. He was already starting to panic.

"Mr. Liu, I know what I'm doing. Please pass the mask to her to breathe." The doctor said to him without losing concentration.

"Mrs. Liu, you're doing great, the baby's head is almost out. Breathe through the mask and stay calm. Remember, you can't pause for a long time." The doctor reminded as she helped to push the baby's head out.

Even with the mask, Chen Lihua was trying hard to breathe.

"Dr, her blood pressure is rising." The nurse said after checking Chen Lihua's blood pressure.

"I knew this would happen, but I didn't think it would be so soon." The doctor said in a low voice.

"Doctor, what's happening to my wife?." Liu Longwei asked in a worried tone as he gazed between his struggling wife and the doctor.

"Doctor, what's wrong with her?." Liu Huiling asked worriedly.

"It's the Preeclampsia. But don't worry, everything will be fine." The doctor said to them.

"She is showing early signs of seizures. Quick, we need to deliver the baby immediately!." The doctor said with much urgency in her tone.

"Prepare another shot of magnesium sulfate and take the drip off her hand, and start preparing for an emergency. Immediately the baby is delivered, give her the other injection so the placenta can be delivered. And immediately after that, give her the magnesium sulfate. And Mr. Liu, Immediately the placenta is delivered, I will need you to hold your wife down." The doctor instructed.

"Okay." Liu Longwei said.

Liu Huiling was scared that something might go wrong, so she started to pray in her heart. Then she gave Chen Lihua a look of encouragement.

Chen Lihua on the other hand, wasn't herself as she couldn't comprehend what was going on. She could tell that something was about to go wrong, but she couldn't even ask questions.

"Doctor, if worse comes to worst, I just need my wife." Liu Longwei said in a serious tone.

To him, his wife was more important than their child. They can still have another child, but he can never get her back if he loses her.

"Mr. Liu do not worry, the situation is under control." The doctor assured him.

Just then, the baby's head came out, and his face could be seen.

Liu Huiling smiled with tears in her eyes as she said to Chen Lihua.

"Lihua dear, your baby's head is out, and he is one cute little boy."

"Yes, Mrs. Liu, your baby is cute." The doctor added before instructing her to continue pushing. In less than three minutes, the baby's body was entirely born, and he started to cry.

The doctor cut the umbilical cord and clipped the one at the baby's navel as she said to Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei, "Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Liu, you have a handsome boy here!."

"Wife we did it, you did it!." Liu Longwei said as he kissed her sweaty forehead.

Chen Lihua smiled as she cried tears of joy...

'Yes! I did it!.' She said to herself.

"Congratulations Brother, Congratulations Lihua. I have to go and announce the good news." Liu Huiling said before running out.

The doctor cleaned the baby up a little, before handing him over to one of the nurses.

"Clean him up quickly and cloth him, his mother needs to hold him in her arms."
