The doctor cleaned the baby up a little, before handing him over to one of the nurses.

"Clean him up quickly and cloth him, his mother needs to hold him in her arms. Check his weight first, and record it with the time of his birth." The doctor said to the nurse.

"Mrs. Liu, do not remove your hands from your abdomen till I tell you to. And also, push when I tell you to." The doctor instructed Chen Lihua.

After Chen Lihua, delivered her son, the doctor instructed her to press onto her abdomen to prevent blood from going to her heart.

"Is the magnesium sulfate ready?." The doctor asked the other nurse who has been keeping an eye on Chen Lihua's blood pressure and heart rate.

The doctor asked this question as she instructed Chen Lihua to push out the placenta when she felt a contraction.

"Doctor, I don't think she needs to take the shot." The nurse said as she glanced at the monitor.

"Why is that?." The doctor asked.

"Surprisingly, her heart rates are normal, and her blood pressure has gone back to normal." The nurse revealed in shock.

"What do you mean, are you sure of what you're saying?." The doctor asked in surprise, as she couldn't believe what she just heard.

"I'm sure of what I'm saying doctor, the results and evidence and are here." The nurse assured her.

"Doctor, does it mean my wife is okay, and there is nothing to be worried about anymore?." Liu Longwei inquired in a hurried tone.

"Yes, and that is a great miracle. But I will still check on her after she has delivered the placenta." The doctor said before moving her focus back to Chen Lihua.

When the contraction came, Chen Lihua delivered the placenta, and the doctor started to clean her up.

It was painful to Chen Lihua, because she just gave birth, and could still feel the pain, but the doctor just had to put her whole fist inside of her to clean up that place.

"It's almost done, Mrs. Liu." The doctor said to her when she cried out and tried closing her legs.

"Sweetheart, this is the last step." Liu Longwei assured her in a low tone as he gazed into her eyes.

A few minutes later, the doctor announced, "I'm done with the cleaning."

And just then, the other nurse brought the crying newborn over.

There were smiles on the faces of everyone in the room. Especially Chen Lihua, as this was her hard work.

Chen Lihua stretched her hands towards her child, and the nurse carefully placed the baby in her arms.

As if feeling and knowing he was in his mother's embrace, he stopped crying.

"Aww! 🤭 he's so cute." Chen Lihua said as she smiled at her baby.

"Darling isn't our son cute?." Chen Lihua asked Liu Longwei with a happy smile on her face.

"Yes, our son is cute, and he looks just like you." Liu Longwei said as he pouted.

Chen Lihua chuckled softly as she made little sounds to her baby.

The doctor smiled at the newly formed family as she signaled one of the nurses to give Liu Longwei a seat, he has been standing for hours now.

Liu Longwei wanted to sit on the bed, but he was scared his wife was still in pain, and wouldn't have the strength to move.

Liu Longwei sat on the seat as he gazed at his newborn son and his wife.

"Sweetheart, you did it! Do you have any requests, this husband will make sure you get everything you ask for." Liu Longwei promised.

"I don't need much from you, I just need you to be there for us." Chen Lihua said, referring to herself and their child.

"That's my responsibility." Liu Longwei said with a smile on his face.

"Okay. When I've thought of something, I will tell you." Chen Lihua said to him, before moving her gaze back to her child in her arms.

The baby was so quiet as he gazed at his mother. His facial expression revealed that he knew how.

This was their first meeting, but it seems the baby recognized his mother's voice right from when he was still in the womb.

"See the way he is gazing at you, he must be happy to finally meet his mother." The doctor commented with a smile on her face.

Chen Lihua quietly gazed at the child in her arms without saying anything again.

The baby just kept staring at her with his black pupils. Then when Liu Longwei put his head forward, the baby glanced at him for some seconds before moving his gaze back to his mother.

Next, he yawned and brought out his tongue. The little guy seemed hungry, but he was patiently gazing at his mother.

Just then, the door swung open, and the five women walked inside and hurried to Chen Lihua's side.

"Oh my! What a cute little boy!." Liu Dongmei said as she smiled at the child.

"I have a grandchild now, Well done Hua'er." Lady Chen said to Chen Lihua as she gently rubbed her head.

"Congratulations Lihua, and welcome to motherhood!." Madam Liu said happily.

"It's good the mother and child are fine. You did well my child." Old Madam Liu commended Chen Lihua.

"Congratulations Lihua!." Liu Huiling said with a smile on her face.

Then, she remembered the phone, so she went to pick it up and saved the video. She walked back to the bed with the phone and proceeded to take pictures of Chen Lihua with the baby in her embrace.

She also captured all the family members staring at the baby, before taking selfies to get everybody in the room.

"Your son is too quiet for a newborn, and why has he been staring at you for such a long time?." Liu Dongmei asked.

"I have no idea." Chen Lihua replied tiredly as she managed a smile.

"Lihua is tired and has gone through a lot, we should allow her to take a break." Old Madam Liu said as she led the way out of the room, and the others had no choice but to follow after her.

"Lihua my child, we will come back to see you and the baby later, we have a hot soup 🍲 on fire for you." Lady Chen said to her before kissing her forehead.

"Rest well." Madam Liu said before walking away.

"I don't feel like leaving, I want to stay here." Liu Dongmei said as she made cute faces.
