"Yes, something good happened. I have a surprise for you." Liu Longwei said as he came to stand before her.

"A surprise for me? What could that be?." Chen Lihua asked with an amused smile?

"You will know what it is when you see it." Liu Longwei said to her with a mysterious smile on his face.

"Okay. I can't wait to see the surprise you have for me." Chen Lihua replied as she handed the child over to him.

Liu Longwei carried the child in his arms as he smiled at him.

Then seeing Chen Lihua placing her palms on the bed as she struggled to get up, he held the baby in one arm and used the other hand to assist her.

But Chen Lihua said to him in a slightly alarming tone.

"Darling just hold onto the baby 👶 and do not worry about me. A little effort is all I need to get up."

Liu Longwei could tell she was scared the baby would fall from his arms. In fact, it was risky. But he had no choice.

He couldn't just stand there and watch his mouth struggle to get up.

Just so her mind would be at peace, he went back to holding the baby with his two arms.

The little child in his arms kept gazing at him as his eyeballs moved all over his face.

At times, he would stare at his mouth as he talked, and then look into his eyes when he gazed back at him.

"This little guy is so cute. I think he acts like you when you were a child." Liu Longwei said as he glanced at Chen Lihua.

"How do you know how I behaved like when I was born?." Chen Lihua asked as she stood to her feet and gazed at her child.

The little guy moved his gaze from his father to his mother. Then he went on to gaze between the two with a curious look on his face.

"Taio, this is your father, and I am your mother." Chen Lihua introduced as she gestured.

This time around, the little guy focused his sight on her hand in motion.

"Oh Baby, you're so cute." Chen Lihua said as she gushed over her cute some.

With the child in his arms, Liu Longwei left the room with Chen Lihua.

"Where is everybody, and why are we going outside?." Chen Lihua asked curiously, as she couldn't see the sight of any of their family members as Liu Longwei led them outside.

"You will see once we go outside." Liu Longwei said to her with a remarkable smile on his face.

"Isn't the child too young to go outside?." Chen Lihua asked, not so sure about the situation.

"Your mind wouldn't be at rest if I let someone watch over our son inside the house, while we are outside, so that's the reason I'm bringing him outside with us." Liu Longwei explained.

"That's true. But I hope we won't stay out long, because I'm actually worried about him. He's too tender to be outside, he's not even up to a day old." Chen Lihua said to him, worried.

Liu Longwei stopped in his steps as he looked at her. "Do you want us to leave him with grandmother?."

"Yes. If Grandma would be the one watching over him, my heart would be at ease." Chen Lihua said to him.

"Okay." Liu Longwei said in response. And with that, he led the way towards Old Madam Liu's bedroom.

"Grandma, we will be back soon." Chen Lihua said to Old Madam Liu as Liu Longwei handed the child to her.

Old Madam Liu smiled at Chen Lihua. She could tell she was worried about her child.

"Aija will take care of my great-grandson, so you can rest assured."

Only then did Chen Lihua set her heart at ease.

In that simple sentence, Old Madam Liu reminded her of how many generations she had looked after.

Seeing that Chen Lihua still had something to say, Liu Longwei held her hand and walked towards the door.

"Darling, can you give me a clue of what the surprise might be?." Chen Lihua inquired as she took slow steps.

"Sorry my love, surprises are not meant to be revealed just like that, it has to be done grandly." Liu Longwei said to her.

"If you want to surprise me, then why are you not asking me to close my eyes?." Chen Lihua asked.

"That's because there is no need. I want you to see the surprise as you walk towards it." Liu Longwei said to her.

Chen Lihua's eyes and mind were filled with anticipation. She couldn't wait to lay hold on the surprise he prepared for her.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei took slow steps as they walked outside.

From some distance, Chen Lihua could see what looked like a car parked, and other family members surrounding it.

"Did you buy a new car?." Chen Lihua inquired in surprise.

"Yes, I did." Liu Longwei replied.

"Wow! The car looks too flashy and grand." Chen Lihua exclaimed with a smile on her face.

"Do you like it?." Liu Longwei asked as they slowly got close to the car and the rest.

"Of course I like it. Who wouldn't like a car like this, and I'm sure you don't quite a fortune to acquire it. And it even looks more expensive than the Karlman King you gave to me as a wedding gift." Chen Lihua said as she observed the car.

"Yes, you are right. It has a price tag worth more than three times of Karlman King." Liu Longwei revealed.

"What?! Is that expensive?." Chen Lihua exclaimed in shock.

Liu Longwei didn't reply to her as they slowly approached the car.

"But why would you customize the car in white color and not your favorite black color?." Chen Lihua asked curiously, for she knew her husband's taste when it came to cars.

Just then, Liu Dongmei said to Chen Lihua, "Congratulations Lihua!."

Just like that, more congratulatory messages followed.

Chen Lihua at her two sisters-in-law and then at Liu Longwei in confusion.
