'Is he going to kiss me here?.'

Well, Liu Longwei really did kiss Chen Lihua right there. Chen Lihua blushed as she lowered her head.

Some minutes later, their food was served. So many appetizing and delicious delicacies were before them.

"Wow! Their food is really nice." Chen Lihua nodded satisfactorily after having a bite from the food.

"Yeah, it is. I like it when I see that ring on your slender finger." Liu Longwei said to her in between meals.

"The engagement ring?." Chen Lihua asked, not sure if she was right.

"Yes, but you don't wear it often." Liu Longwei said in a dejected tone.

"Well, that's because it's expensive and weighs some carats of diamonds. I can't afford to wear this every day, so that's the reason I decided to only put it on, on important occasions." Chen Lihua said while admiring the pink diamond ring on her finger, that weighed nothing less than 24 carats of diamonds.

After dinner, they talked for a while. They reminisced about their past, their childhood, and their relationship in the past year.

It was such a sweet moment to have the whole place to themselves because Liu Longwei booked the whole floor just for them alone.

"Give me your hands..." Liu Longwei demanded as he stretched forth his hands on the table with a loving smile on his face.

Chen Lihua obeyed him and stretched her hands towards him as he requested.

"Lihua, I love you so much, and I will do anything just to keep you happily by my side. I hope we'll spend our life together and forever." Liu Longwei said and immediately kissed the back of her palms.

"Darling, I love you so much and wish to spend eternity with you, you mean more than a lot to me." Chen Lihua confessed her true feelings to him.

"I love you too, Sweetheart." Liu Longwei said to her with a genuine smile on his face.

Suddenly coming out of those deep emotions, Chen Lihua said as Liu Longwei released her hands.

"Oh! I miss my son, and I already want to go back home!."

"Oh! I see that you're tired of looking at my old handsome face already, so you are looking for a younger one to admire." Liu Longwei teased.

"You're right. I want to stare at the mini you, he's so cute." Chen Lihua said as she gushed over her handsome son she left with his grandma at home.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei didn't go home immediately. Instead, they went for a short distance drive before going back home.

When they arrived home, they felt that something was off, but they couldn't really pinpoint the actual problem.

The house was always quiet, so they felt nothing wrong with it. But as they stepped into the first leaving area which was for guests that weren't really close to them, they met with darkness.

They couldn't see anything...

Chen Lihua was worried and wanted to take a step forward, but Liu Longwei held her hand. "Don't move!." He said to her.

"But what's going on, why is everywhere so dark?." Chen Lihua asked, but then, she received the answer from a familiar voice not quite some distance from them, but she jumped in fright.

"That's because it's your First Wedding Anniversary." Came the voice, and immediately, the lights came on!

What a wonderful surprise to see the efforts her family put up for her and Liu Longwei.

The room was decorated with balloons and other simple decorations, but it still managed to look perfect.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei could see their close family members there in the room, they were utterly surprised with the whole thing.

"Happy Wedding Anniversary!!!." All of them screamed with excitement laced in their voices.

Chen Lihua had her hands over her mouth in surprise as she looked at every one of them. She was very happy!

"For a moment, I thought you two planned on abandoning your son to spend the night together at someplace." Madam Liu said as she approached with the little lively guy in her arms.

The little guy had his little fist in his mouth as he sucked on them. At times, he would hit them in the air, before putting them back in his mouth as he drooled.

But when he saw his mother, there was an excitement on his face, as he kicked his little arms and legs about.

It was obvious that he wanted to be in her embrace, and of course, Chen Lihua granted him that request.

"What's up, my cute little boy? Have you been obedient since I left?." Chen Lihua asked as she smiled at him.

The little guy stared at her, and then he smiled back at her.

"What a cute little boy you've got, Congratulations Lihua." An audible female voice spoke from amongst the little crowd.

Chen Lihua who was smiling at her little boy, looked surprised as the smile slowly faded away, as she began to look through the crowd to know if her sixth sense got the gaze right.

Slowly, the way was parted, and Chynna appeared in sky blue palazzo trousers, with the same matching jacket.

She looked beautiful and almost entirely different with the nude makeup on her face. In fact, she totally looked different from what she used to look like at the Asylum.

"Chynna? Is that you?." Chen Lihua asked, not so sure of herself. She felt like her eyes were deceiving her.

It was at this point that Liu Longwei had to take the active little guy away from her arms, least she dropped him in shock, but which was by the way, impossible.

Chynna gave a natural smile which expressed the tranquility within her soul.

"It's me, Lihua, I'm out," Chennai said as she slowly walked towards her, and came to stop few steps away from her.

Chen Lihua was surprised to see this friend of hers in a new light. This was her best friend from Grade school to High school!
