Both women were his mothers, and now, they were facing off. He was in a very tricky situation. Who should he support?

"I didn't cause any trouble. She just wants to bully me." The woman sulked.

Chen Weiyuan could see a headache coming as he glanced at the items on the floor. Meer looking at them, he could tell what happened.

He couldn't ask his mum (Lady Chen) about what happened, and neither can he ask her to let the matter go. He doesn't have that right, and besides, he was scare of her.

They were supposed to visit Chen Lihua together today, but he said he would come on his own later. Now, it turned out that he was accompanying his birth mother.

He just didn't know what to say or do, because he was in trouble as well.

Looking at his birth mother, he said to her, "Don't cause any more trouble here, and just do what Mum asked you to do!."

"What?! Have you joined her ship? There is no way I'm picking anything here." Cassandra said stubbornly.

Lady Chen sneered and let go of her arm. Then she turned to Weiyuan to say, "Your mother has two options. One, pick up the clothes and continue shopping in peace. Two, don't pick up the clothes and get chased away from here."

Chen Weiyuan looked helpless as he gazed at Lady Chen, but Lady Chen remained indifferent. Seeing that he wasn't even soared another glance, he knew she was serious, and so decided to persuade his mother, but she remained stubborn.

And instead of feeling sorry, she escalated the matter.

"Son, why should apologize to her or pick up the items on the floor when there are so many workers loitering around. And besides, you are your father's only son, and it will be a matter of time before you inherit the company, and then, this shopping mall will be..."

She was cut short by the sound of a hand slapping against the skin so hard.

Lady Chen was so angry that she raised her hand to slap her, but Chen Weiyuan took the hit.

He noticed that his mother was about to get slapped for crossing the line, but he decided to take the hit.

Cassandra was so shocked that she had her mouth agape, with her hands over them. Her brain was still trying to boot.

Lady Chen was also surprised because she wasn't expecting him to take the hit. But she managed to hide her worried, hurt and disappointed look.

But no matter how fast she was, Chen Weiyuan still saw the emotions that remained in her eyes. He smiled in his heart... 'She still loves me.

Just then, Manager Sun came back to see the mess on the floor, so he signaled the two workers behind him, to pick the items up.

"Manager Sun, throw this woman out of this place and make sure she is blacklisted. I don't want to hear that she stepped her feet into this Mall again. And if she proves stubborn, you are free to get the guards to drag her out, or you can call the police and lay a complaint."

After giving out her instructions, Lady Chen walked away with the two store workers behind her.

"Son, are you okay?." Cassandra asked as she stretched her hand towards his face, but Chen Weiyuan hit them away in anger.

"Don't touch me, I don't need your sympathy! Do you care about me?! Mother, please go back to Australia!."

"You... You are sending me away?." Cassandra asked in shock.

"Yes! And please don't come back again if you're going to cause trouble. Go back to Australia to meet your boyfriend. I think he is better at tolerating your troublesome attitude than me." Chen Weiyuan said before starting to work away.

"So you don't care about your mother, but that arrogant woman?." Cassandra shouted.

"I'm booking a flight for you. I will send the details to you in some minutes. I don't want to see you." Chen Weiyuan said as he finally worked away, leaving his angry mother behind.

Manager Sun was still standing by the side. And seeing that she wasn't ready to leave on her own after being abandoned, he showed her the way.

Cassandra rolled her eyes 👀 before walking away in a huff.

As Chen Weiyuan took the elevator to the underground parking lot, he dialed Lady Chen's number, but after several rings, she didn't answer it. He just knew that she was still angry with him.

He just needed to find her quickly before she left the premises. And luckily for him, he saw her getting into her car when he got to the underground parking lot.

So he screamed, 'Mum!.' Lady Chen turned to glance at him, before turning away, totally ignoring him.

Seeing that she had entered her car, Chen Weiyuan chased after her. But when he got to the car, the car doesn't was locked, and no matter what he said, Lady Chen refused to react.

"Mr. P, what are you waiting for?!." Lady Chen asked her driver in annoyance.

Mr. P shuddered as he ignited the car. He moved but suddenly braked. If not for the seat belt that secured her, she would have hit her face on the car window.

"Do you need me to...!." Lady Chen trailed off when she saw the culprit standing in front of the car, preventing them from driving off.

"Lady, the young master is standing in front of the car, so I cannot move the car ". The driver said announced.

Lady Chen sneered as she spat, "Then, run him over!."

The driver looked shocked.

"What are you waiting for, or do you need me to teach you your job?." Lady Chen asked.

"Mum, let me in!." Chen Weiyuan pleaded as he remained standing in place.

The driver ignited the car once again. At first, Chen Weiyuan thought he wanted to drive backward, but he was wrong, he wanted to run him over, so he moved out of the way in fright.
