Liu Longwei smiled with his gaze on her. He can't seem to be able to get enough of his wife's gaze. She was so beautiful and loving.

He doesn't know if he will be able to take it without her by his side. Surely, he wouldn't pray for that day to come.

"When you're done soaking, I will help to wash you." Liu Longwei said to her.

"Thank you." Chen Lihua said before shutting her eyes again.

Liu Longwei sat there watching her before his eyes moved to her stomach, then a smile appeared on his face.

They have come so far. Who would believe their marriage was truly arranged by their mothers, and they now fell hard in love with each other. They even have a son together, and another child was on the way.

Not being able to hide his emotions, Liu Longwei lifted his hand to caress her stomach, and immediately, Chen Lihua opened her eyes.

She had a smile as she watched him caress her abdomen.

"I want to see her." Liu Longwei said with his gaze on her.

"Okay. But we can not tell her gender now since I'm not even up to a month. Please, don't be disappointed when it turns out to be another son." Chen Lihua said to him.

She could tell how much he wanted a girl. Now, the love between her and their son was fuelling his desire for a daughter. She hopes she can give him a daughter, how happy will he be?

"I know it's a girl, my guts are always right. But even if I'm wrong, I will still love our child, because it came from you." Liu Longwei said to her with a smile.

Chen Lihua placed her hand on his. "I love you." She confessed.

"I love you, more than you know." Liu Longwei said to her with a smile before moving his hand to caress her cheeks.

"I want to have a bath now." Chen Lihua said out of the blue.

"Okay, Ma'am." Liu Longwei sad before stretching his hands to pick the shower gel with his reach.

"I'm going to sit behind you and that way, I will do a good job." Liu Longwei said as he stood up with the shower gel in his hand.

"Careful." Chen Lihua warned with her gaze on him, before adjusting her sitting position to make way for him.

Liu Longwei carefully settled himself behind her. Next, he put some shower gel on his palm. He rubbed it together before placing his palms on her shoulders.

He rubbed the shower gel all over her back, with his fingers caressing her skin at the same time.

Chen Lihua had her shut as she enjoyed the feeling of her husband's fingers on her body.

"Do you like it?." Liu Longwei asked as she continued to rub the shower gel all over her back.

"Yeah. The feeling is so nice." Chen Lihua replied.

"That's good, but don't just fall asleep." Liu Longwei said to her as he took more shower gel in his palms.

He knew his woman very well. He knew what she was capable of doing. She can fall asleep as far as she was enjoying the feeling she was getting.

"I will try." Chen Lihua said with her tightly shut eyes, and a smile.

Liu Longwei sighed as he rubbed his palms together before massaging the shower gel on her skin. From her neck, his fingers moved to her chest, and down to the other parts of her body.

Liu Longwei didn't want Chen Lihua to fall asleep in the bath, so he hurried up with washing her body and his.

"Why did you finish so quickly?." Chen Lihua asked with a frown as she dried her body with the towel he passed to her.

"I didn't want you to fall asleep." Liu Longwei explained as he wiped his body.

"I will only forgive you because you gave a good reason." Chen Lihua said as she hung her towel on the towel hanger.

Liu Longwei chuckled softly as he hung his towel before opening the door to the walk-in closet. They walked in with their bathrobes wrapped around their bodies.

Going straight to use of her cream, Chen Lihua sat on the chair and looked into the mirror.

She picked her night beauty products her sister-in-law, Liu Huiling recommended to her.

"Have you checked your phone since we came back?." Chen Lihua asked.

"No, I know what I will see, and so I'm not ready for it." Liu Longwei replied as he made use of his antiperspirant.

"I put my phone on Airplane mode, I'm not ready for them." Chen Lihua replied with a chuckle.

"Yours is better, at least you wouldn't have to call anyone back. I left my phone on silently 🔕, so I will still see their texts and missed calls, that will be so tiring." Liu Longwei replied.

"You know, you can wait for them to call you back and pretend you were busy." Chen Lihua suggested as she stood up to walk to her wardrobe to pick a nightdress.

"That will work, thanks." Liu Longwei said as he walked to her side and kissed her cheeks.

"You're welcome." Chen Lihua replied as she picked her pajamas.

Since Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei came back from the interview, they haven't checked their phones, as they left them lying in one corner of their room.

They knew their families would be calling to ask them numerous questions which they were not ready to answer, so they deliberately abandoned their phones.

"No matter what you pick, I can still gain easy access." Liu Longwei whispered to Chen Lihua's ears after he was dressed in his nightwear, seeing her in her pajamas.

Chen Lihua gave a smile that was not truly a smile. "I know you are thick-skinned, but don't forget I have my bedroom. If I feel lonely sleeping alone, I will call my son to come and join me on the bed." Chen Lihua threatened with a harmless smile.
