"No matter what you pick, I can still gain easy access." Liu Longwei whispered to Chen Lihua's ears after he was dressed in his nightwear, seeing her in her pajamas.

Chen Lihua gave a smile that was not truly a smile. "I know you are thick-skinned, but don't forget I have my bedroom. If I feel lonely sleeping alone, I will call my son to come and join me on the bed." Chen Lihua threatened with a harmless smile.

"Are you threatening me?." Liu Longwei asked.

"Was I? I was only saying the future reality." Chen Lihua said to him.

"Let's go downstairs for dinner." Chen Lihua said to him as she held him and dragged him out of the walk-in closet.

"Should we take our phones?." Liu Longwei asked as he briefly glanced at their phones that were lying side to side on the nightstand.

"No, let's eat in peace." Chen Lihua said as she dragged him out of the room.

Downstairs at the dining table, Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei sat side by side and at their food. They didn't talk much, probably because Chen Lihua didn't look like she wanted any distractions while eating, because she was very hungry after the hectic exercise.

Liu Longwei knew that, so he let her eat peacefully.

But while eating, the housekeeper came to them with the telephone in hand.

"Sir, Ma'am, sorry to disturb you, but it's been ringing for a while now." The housekeeper said to them with the ringing telephone in her hand.

"Who is calling?." Chen Lihua asked with her gaze on her.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know now, but people from your families have been calling. Lady Chen said she couldn't get through you, and Sir wasn't picking her calls, so she reached out with this." The housekeeper informed.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei exchanged glances before she said to the housekeeper.

"If it rings again, just answer it like before. If it's anyone from our families, just tell them we are having dinner and will call them back later.

"Yes, Ma'am." The housekeeper said before walking away from their presence.

Chen Lihua sighed as she said to Liu Longwei, "I'm beginning to think that I made a big mistake by announcing about my pregnancy and our son."

"Hey! Don't be sad. We have announced it already, so there is no need to regret it, just be happy." Liu Longwei said as he squeezed her palm gently.

Chen Lihua pouted her lips and turned to look out him. "Maybe I should have thought things over. I think you should have stopped me."

"What, are you blaming me now?." Liu Longwei asked with a look of surprise 😮 on his face.

"No, I'm not blaming you." Chen Lihua denied immediately as she placed her other hand on his, stopping him from moving his fingers.

"I was only saying that you indulge me a lot that I do whatever I want. Please just talk to me next time if I want to take a decision, in case I will regret it later."

"Okay, I get you, finish your food." Liu Longwei said as he took her hand off his own.

"Are you angry?." Chen Lihua asked as she watched him go back to eating.

"No, why would you think so?." Liu Longwei asked with an indifferent look on his face.

"You just took your hands away just like that, and now, you're not even smiling with me." Chen Lihua said with a sad facial expression.

Liu Longwei smiled as he put his cutlery down. "I'm not angry, I'm just thinking about how difficult it will be not to allow you do what you want. But I get it now."

"So you're not angry?." Chen Lihua questioned with her gaze on him.

"Really, I'm not." Liu Longwei replied as he pinched her cheek.

"Proof it." Chen Lihua said to him with a pout.

Liu Longwei had a smirk on his lips as he stared at her. "Since you want me to prove my love for you, I will."

"Who said y..." Chen Lihua's words were cut short before she could finish them, be sure right at that moment, Liu Kissed her lips.

"Have I proofed it?." Liu Longwei asked after a few seconds kiss. He had a slight smile on his face as he asked that question.

Chen Lihua pushed his chest away as she replied, "I didn't ask for a kiss in the middle of eating."

"Eat your food." Liu Longwei said to her as he rubbed her shoulders, before picking up his cutlery.

Chen Lihua glanced at him one more time before going back to eating.

After dinner, the two knew they couldn't just go straight to bed as they had some calls to return, so they set out to their bedroom, but first of all, they branched somewhere to the out their son.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei walked into their son's bedroom and saw him sleeping peacefully on his bed.

A smile naturally bloomed on their faces as they walked closer to the little boy's bed.

"I want to cuddle with him." Chen Lihua said in a hushed tone as she caressed her son's face with a doting smile on her face.

"What about me?." Liu Longwei asked in a low tone.

"Taio's body is soft, but yours? It's otherwise." Chen Lihua replied to him.

"Are you saying you don't like my body again? But you used to touch my chest and say you like how rock hard it is, and my abs too, what happened?." Liu Longwei said to her with a deep frown on his face.

Chen Lihua glared at him before dragging him out of the bedroom.

"What do you think you were talking about in there? Our son was right there, did you want him to hear us?." Chen Lihua asked.

"What's there to be afraid of? You haven't answered my question." Liu Longwei said to her.

"Of course I like your body, but sometimes I want to hug my baby's soft body to sleep." Chen Lihua replied with a hand on her waist.

"Really? You are not satisfied with my body anymore." Liu Longwei asked.

Chen Lihua refused to reply to him as she started to walk away from his presence, but the next monument, he lifted her in his arms and kissed he cheeks before carrying her away.

Chen Lihua couldn't get angry with him. She laughed out loud as she watched that scowl sitting on his face.

"You dare to laugh at me?." Liu Longwei asked as he used the steps to the last floor.
