Josh bowed the last time before walking out of the room leaving Ellis, Ray, and his maids in the room.

" Oh my God, I can't believe I will be fighting a gnurx tomorrow," said Ellis while rubbing his cheek.

" What is there to be afraid of, besides we'll be fighting together replied Ray while cleaning his sword with a piece of cloth.

" I know, but it's too sudden, do you mind keeping that was of yours we are not going to be attacked today," said Ellis who seen to be pissed off by Ray who can't wait to test his blade with the body of the gnurx.

" What do you know, those gnurx can attack at any time especially when we are not on our guard" replied Ray while tossing his blade to the sky?

" And who told you that," asked Ellis while looking at Ray.

" Who else could it be other than me, you see when I was still in the mountain I fought those undead being days and night and decided to take a little nap when there was no beast around but who could have known that I would be attacked at that. So you see my friend am always prepared for the worst" replied Ray.

" I see, no wonder you come to enjoy battling it has become a habit of yours," said Ellis who seen to have realized something.

" You can say so, by the way, I didn't see you with any weapon when we left the clan, or are you planning to sit this fight which is why you hire me to work for you," asked Ray.

" Is it really important for someone to be equipped with weapons before they are qualified to be called fighters" replied Ellis with a question of his own.

Ray was just looking at Ellis without replying to his question.

" Let me ask you something, what would you have used to defend yourself in the mountain if you were to be thrown there without any weapon," asked Ellis seeing that Ray has fallen silent.

" How to wish I was not in any possession of any weapon then I would have protected myself with my fist" replied Ray.

" These are my weapon," said Ellis while raising his hands to Ray.

' So this meatball cultivated his body instead of turning them into a human weapon' thought Ray while looking at Ellis's hands.

" Let just hope those hands of yours could be useful when the gnurx attack tomorrow," said Ray before keeping his sword on the scabbard before walking out to survey the surrounding and keep an eye for the gnurx.

" Hey system is it possible to set a force field around the mining site," asked ray while talking to the system through his thought.

" host will be able to set an energy force field, but it will be quite consumable and tasking for the host to manipulate the whole of energy here"

" Since you say so, is there any option for me," asked ray still talking to the system.

" according to my estimation, it will be possible to set a force field, but It will be able to last for two minutes".

' Well it better than having none, but I still need to talk to Ellis about this' thought Ray before heading back to meet Ellis.

" Hey I might have a way to slow the gnurx goblins from getting into the cave, but I will need to know how many entrances are in the cave," said Ray.

" Kate go and get josh" ordered Ellis.

Kate did as order and left then later came back with just, and it seems like Kate has already informed him of what was going on.

" Young master there is no other entrance apart from the one you used in coming in," said Josh

" Can you fill me in on what you are planning" asked Ellis while looking at Ray?

" I was thinking of creating an energy force field to shield them from coming in too early" replied Ray.

" Energy force field can only be drawn by soul wandering expert. So how are you going to do it" asked Maria who seen to be confused by what Ray is saying?

" I can draw it out but only for two minutes" replied Ray.

" But the only problem is I can only restrict those that are in the same realm as me within that two minutes, so you guys have to figure out a way to distract the leader from attacking the force field "added Ray before turning to look at Ellis only to see his mouth was wide open, and it was not only him, Both his maid and josh were in a similar state.

Seeing how they are acting strange, Ray couldn't help but ask.

" What's wrong with you guys," asked Ray.

" Are you sure you can draw out the force field," said Ellis after regaining himself.

" Of course I can remember when I said I was attacked when I drop my guard in the mountain, the reason why I was able to survive was due to the force field" replied Ray who seen to be getting annoyed at how they are treating the matter.

' Monster was the word that came out of Ellis's mouth before saying.

" If you can hold the force field like you said you could then maria will have to take care of their leader"

" Since the force field will be set outside the cave, then we'll have to camp outside to attack the suggest Kate.

After the brief meeting, Ellis instructed josh to round up those that are good in combat to prepare for battle before leaving with Ray and Maria to camp outside.

After all, the arrangement was made and josh being able to mobilize fifty men for the attack, they waited outside for the arrival of gnurx.

The next day before dawn they started feeling the ground shaking like it is going to give way, and it didn't take long before they started seeing an army of gnurx goblins matching not too far from the cave. They were about three hundred in numbers which were on sliver armor and their appearance was not encouraging. Being no different from a dwarf with greenish skin and teeth that pop out of their mouth like a boar.
