" That damn meatball couldn't even just stay close, leaving me here all by myself in a weaker state" complain Ray while raising his head to scan the area.
" And who are you calling a meatball" said Ellis while coming from behind Ray.
Struggling to turn his head around, he was able to see Ellis coming close.
" I didn't know you will actually fear death that much" said Ray with a smile on his face.
" Who won't be scared of a tribulation that can easily erase any soul from this world while not given the privilege to enter afterlife" replied Ellis with a frown in his face.
" Ah, I don't have the strength to argue with you now" said Ray before dragging his body in a meditation sitting position while hissing from the pain that he's passing through.
" Hahaha, just look at how beat up you are now even a kid don't need to stress themselves before they kill you, and you expect me to stay close and be punished by the tribulation for interfering" laughed Ellis at the struggling Ray.
" I don't need to bother with you since you will be facing yours soon" said Ray with a smile on his face.
When Ray said those words, Ellis became quiet and said.
" Am not facing my tribulation anytime soon since am far from breaking through, let's forget about that for now and talk about your condition. How many hours will it take you to recover" asked Ellis with a serious look on his face.
" Ten minutes should be enough for me to recover half my strength" replied Ray.
" A lot would have happened within that ten minutes since we do not know how the others are doing" said Ellis while looking at the direction the other are.

"You don't need to worry about anything, they may not look that strong but with there it will be enough to hold their ground for a little longer" replied Ray while breathing in and started meditating.
With Ellis standing guide over him, Ray was able to recover half his strength while his skin heal from the damage it received from the tribulation before getting up from the ground and begin to stretch his body.
" How are you feeling now" asked Ellis while looking at Ray.
" Much better and stronger than before" replied Ray before added now all I need is an opponent to test my new-found strength" said Ray while picking his blades up.
" That won't be a problem, there will be enough of bandit to use as a test subject when we get back replied Ellis before turning back and begin to walk back to join the others.
" Hey Ellis, did you manage to take the bandit storage ring before the tribulation started" asked Ray after the bandit they defeated.
Ellis continue to walk forward while raising his hand up for Ray to see the ring he was wearing on his finger.
" Nice one" said Ray in joy while giving Ellis a thumbs up.
" Come on we need to hurry" replied Ellis before running at his top speed.
Taking a step forward, Ray was just about to run at full speed when he suddenly felt his body jolt in an instance, and before he knew it he has crashed into a tree while destroying it in the process.
Ellis stopped running when he heard the crash and turn around only to see Ray standing up from the fall.
" Oh, I forgot that you haven't adapted to your new-found strength" said Ellis while waiting for Ray to stable himself.
" It's only going to take some time before I get use to it" replied Ray before trying again.
After running for a while they were able to meet up with the others who were still battling with the bandit, and they look to be reaching their limit.
Heading for a bandit who was about to deliver a deadly blow to a hunter that couldn't keep up with the fight anymore due to the fact that he has been protecting his friend that has already reach is limit, Ray was able to deliver a kick at the bandit which sent him flying since he was not expecting the attack.
