Playing with the dragon pearl and earth core, Ellis refuse to pay the other item attention leaving Ray to deal with them. After keeping the rest, Ray turned to the injured snake beast before saying.

" And should we do about it".

" I have what we came for, so just let it be" replied Ellis while playing with the items.

When the snake beast heard that it will be spared, it let out a breath of relief before kowtow to them for not killing it.

Not paying the beast any attention Ray turn around and began to walk off while Ellis follow from behind still holding the items. Seeing that get Ray really annoyed as he turned to him and said.

" Are you not going to put that away or do you want others to see it and over it".

" Sorry about that, it just that am too excited since I will be able to ahead of time just using the dragon pearl" replied Ellis after coming back to his senses before keeping the items in his storage ring.

" I believe you don't have any use for the dragon pearl and earth core since you already have your own method of cultivation" asked Ellis.

" Of course I won't be needing it since the best way for me to grow strong is to bake myself with battle experience" replied Ray while tapping his blade from behind.

" Since you already have the required items needed for your breakthrough, what your next move" asked Ray.

" Oh, I am going into seclusion the moment we get back to try and breakthrough and I won't be coming until I break through" replied Ellis with a serious look.

" And how many hours, so you need for your breakthrough" asked Ray once again.

" Hours, bro we are talking about months here, and you are saying hours. Please just tell me the truth do you really not know a thing or two about all this knowledge, or you are just pretending to know" replied Ellis with a question of his own.

" So what do you want me to do within the months that you will be in seclusion" asked Ray while dodging Ellis in question.

" There is lots of things you can do during my absence, like going to the pub to drink, going on a quest or better still go enjoy yourself in the brothel" replied Ellis with a smile when saying the last part.

" Do I look like someone who would spend his time and money in a place like that" said Ray in annoyance.

" Oh now you are angry, ain't you the one that asked me for options of things you can do while am away" replied Ellis who was already angry.

" And that's what you can come up with eh" yelled Ray.

" How am I supposed to know what you can do" Ellis yelled back at Ray.

" You know what, u don't even know why I am wasting my time arguing with you" added Ellis.

After walking for sometime in silence, the Hiepia empire came into view. They went into their home still in silence until when Ellis step into the garden while holding the door to entrance.

" Remember what I said, the garden is off limits. If you are looking for where to spar you can easily go to the hunter guild" said Ellis with a serious face.

" What's with the rush, are you not going to prepare some meal to help keep that stomach of yours full until you come out of seclusion" asked Ray.

" I don't have time to waste on such unnecessary things. Don't worry we're going to have a hell of fun when I come out" replied Ellis while laughing before closing the door.

" Ah now I am going to live in this damn place all by myself with no one to talk to" said Ray to himself before going to his room to rest.

Waking up the next day, Ray went to the hunter guild to see if there is anyone available for a spar but before leaving Ray look at the Door leading to the garden before muttering beneath his breath.

" I wonder what he is doing now".

When Ray arrive at the guild, he was just planning to go look for who to spar with when he heard a lovely voice coming from afar. Turning to see who was it, Ray put on a friendly smile on his face when he discovered the lady talking to a hunter by the counter.

" If you are looking for information the best person to meet is jenny" said Ray before heading to the receptionist counter.

" Look how lost you are just walking on your own. Where is friend" said jenny when she saw Ray approaching her.

" Busy and won't be coming out any time soon" replied Ray with a smile.

" Hope he's doing well" asked jenny worriedly.

" Don't worry about him, he's doing well" replied Ray.

" Ain't you going to pick a quest for the day" asked jenny knowing how Ray loves to battle.

" Nah, I won't be taking any quest until Ellis is done with what he's doing" replied Ray.

" Why do you say that, I believe in the guild there are hunters that are more capable than him" said jenny?

" Yes they are more capable than him but would they be able to tolerate being around me and if we are in a critical situation will they be able to used their brain to the fullest" replied Ray while looking at jenny in the eye.

" I see, so since you are not here to take a quest, what is it you want because I don't you will just walk up here to have a chat with me" asked jenny.

" I am looking for someone to spar with since I have nothing doing now" replied Ray straightaway.

That's easy just head to the hunter's arena by your left you will see hunters that are looking for sparing partner" said jenny.

" Thanks for the help jenny" replied Ray with a smile before heading to the arena.

Getting to the arena, Ray could see people fighting with some being thrown out of the stage while the crowd are cheering for their champion.

" Now this is the place that is met for a person like me" said Ray in excitement before walking to where bet are been place.

" Place your bet now for the odds are in your favor" said the cashier.

Walking to the cashier Ray asked.

" Good day sir, please where can I sign up for a match".

The cashier stop what he was doing and turn to the young man before him and point at a small room by the side after examine Ray. Thanking the cashier, Ray head for the room where he saw an old man sitting on the ground with a tablet in front of him.

Seeing the young man walking into the room he already knew why he was here since only those that was to fight only comes in. Stretching the tablet forward the old man told Ray to place is thumb on it before telling him to pay a hundred contribution point for the entrance fee before sending him out of the room to wait for his name to be called.

Walking out of the room, Ray went to sit and watch the ongoing match until it gets to his turn. After watching for some time, the announcer walk up to the stage and turned to the crowd before saying.

" Now for the main event, we have kart from the Raging Dawn squad vs Ray who is actually an assistant hunter".

" Hahaha, an assistant hunter fighting against a kart a foundation realm expert this should be interesting" said a hunter from the crowd.

" Now is my chance to win it big" said another hunter before heading to the betting stand to place his bet.

Ray went to the bet stand and place his bet when he saw that the odds that he will win is 10/1 before heading to the stage. When the news about the Odd reach the ears of the crowd, they all rush to place their bet with few betting on Ray wining.

" Hey is that the apprentice hunter that is facing kart" asked a hunter when he saw Ray walk into the stage.

" He's really young to be in this place not to talk about battling an opponent that is far stronger than him" replied another hunter.

" I bet he won't be able to last five minutes in there" said another hunter.

Meanwhile, by the front row sat Gary who was looking at Ray with a smile on his face before saying to a Hunter by his side.

" Here is my tag, go and place one thousand contribution points on the young man ".

" But sir Gray this is a complete lost you know how strong kart is, placing a bet on that kid wining is just too risky" said the hunter.

" Yeah that's what it is risk, now go and do as I say" replied Gray.

Standing up the hunter left for the bet stand while Gray just sat there with a smile on his face.
